Used the Worksop branch Friday / Saturday.
Ordered an abs sensor on Friday (by phone using my registration number).
Picked up the sensor on Saturday morning. Questioned the validity of the part. Wrong one! It looked wrong!!
But no. “ I can assure you it is the correct part” he said.
I asked if they could fit it. TOLD no!
The so called Service area was not busy. So lazy and incompetent.
Asked who could and was fed some lies.
Took the car to a reputable company who kindly offered to replace the component.
Left the car with them and walked home.
Ten minutes later a call revealed it was the incorrect part!!! What a surprise!!!
Took the part back for a refund.
Two hours of my weekend wasted by a ‘know it all’ fool!!
Please think again before using this incompetent set of Pratt’s.
Used the Birstall branch today for the first time, didn't have long to wait for the job to be done. Friendly staff. Very happy with all of it
Made order online 24/8/2018. No order yet in store 5/9/2018. Tried to call, waiting time of 30 mins. Left messages on facebook, no reply. How do I get refund.?
Again the same problem price is different on quote and in place went down with quote printed out but guys in the garage have refused to do the work as quote was to low that is second time in a month that happened and called with second quote I have been given for two front tyres meant to cost 45 pounds plus tracking but when rung garage they said it will be 55 plus tracking no less. Definitely think twice before using. Avoid
2 cars in the household, first one mini convertible, gone in for simply repairs but got phone call every half hour finding other faults, being an older mini I suppose it was to be expected but I trusted these people so a final bill of over £500. My second car went in 6 months later newer Corsa needed service and mot. Within a week the car 'exploded on the motorway, fire brigade called the works, the rac arrived turned out the water pipe had been damaged into the engine, it was implied it was not wear n tear. The garage it was taken to said the same and asked if I been under the bonnet, telling the guy the only time I go under the bonnet is to fill the windscreen wiper bottle. When I said where the car had just been for a service, he made his own comments about Wilco's in Hunslet, Leeds and agreed that the waterpipe damage was not wear n tear but informed me to try and prove that would be nigh impossible! That resulted in a £700 repair bill. My mini has just broken down advised the clutch had gone, informing the garage it'd just been done and where, it was commented on Wilcos ability to do good work and use quality parts. Checking around web searches, Wilco's are not good, cheesy sales guys making out to be your mate and that they're doing you a favour makes me cringe at the best of times, but seriously come on. Shoddy workmanship is not good, I could have had kids in my car
Popped in to Worksop Branch today and asked for my suspension to be checked at the front as suspected a fault. Within the hour received a phone call to say front suspension was fine but thwere was an issue with the rear (which I had suspected for the past 2 years but main dealer did not find any problem with) - got a quote to sort it for £130 (very reasonable by my opiniton) and repair completed with in 1 1/2 hours. Really impressed with high quality and polite service I received.
