Dropped into the shop with a friend and ended up buying a used Martin D-28 and a new Gibson Les Paul R9 Ultra Heavy Relic.

The staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. No pressure, just great advice and a relaxed atmosphere. A fantastic experience all round. Highly recommend if you’re after quality guitars and proper service!

This is not the biggest, but it is the best guitar shop in the North. Leon managed to source a sunburst 594SC before PRS discontinued them, held it in stock to suit my timing, and set it up to perfection. No hard sell, just genuine enthusiasm and expertise. Call them first.

I've purchased several guitars from Wildwire and they have always been incredibly helpful and considerate to me.

I recently had an awful experience with another ( "premium" fruit based) guitar store and Wildwire helped me massively in turning my guitar buying nightmare back into a dream.

I recently re-acquired a Les Paul I loaned out many years ago. Unfortunately it had not been looked after well at all and was absolutely unplayable - with damaged electrics and broken switches. Chris assured me he would have it sorted for me and, true to his word, he did. Excellent work from someone who knows his craft. Thank you everyone at Wildwire.

I had been looking for a specific model of Taylor guitar and found one online at Wildwire guitar store. After a quick email back and forth with Leon, i managed to get it at an excellent price. It arrived with next day delivery.
On arrival, there was an issue with it, I took it to a local Taylor repair centre who confirmed the issue. The fix wasn't covered under the warranty, but a phone call with Leon and he had promised to reimburse all the costs to get the guitar right. After a week in the repair store, Leon fully reimbursed the cost of the fix as promised.
It was so refreshing to deal with a shop that take customer service seriously and with a great attitude. I would highly recommend dealing with Leon and his team; I will do in the future! A top chap, top guitar store and a great experience that had the potential to be awful. Highly recommended!

What a find! Music shops are few and far between these days. To find one of this calibre is unusual to say the least, to find it tucked away in Selby is even more so.

Amazing selection of guitars and amps accompanied by knowledgable and extremely friendly (and non-judgmental!) staff.

Worth a journey folks. Let’s deal with independent shops, these are the businesses that we should be spending our money at.

Guitar options are woefully limited when you’re left-handed and you can’t just go into your local music shop, try a load out and buy the one you like! That means reliance on buying online and good customer service. The big players like GuitarGuitar and PMT are the worst for this. Anyway, I wanted a parlour guitar and fell in love with a discontinued Gibson G-OO and Wildwire had the last remaining one in the UK. It was an expensive purchase and I agonised for months, and had also found it cheaper in Holland. I then spoke to Wildwire using their chat box - a conversation that went on for two days! Leon explained how import duty etc works when buying from Europe and therefore why it seemed cheaper but wasn’t, and also gave me peace of mind that this was a great guitar I wouldn’t be disappointed with. He was right - it arrived safely the next day, which was four months ago, and I’ve barely put it down since!

Purchased a GS Mini-e Rosewood Left Handed online from Wildfire Guitars. Guitar arrived quicker than expected via DHL and the guitar is absolutely amazing including action and set up. Delighted with the guitar and service from Wildfire. I highly recommend Wildfire Guitars Thank you

I wanted to write a review about Leon from Wildwire. They are a fantastic business and they go above and beyond. My son has just taken up playing the guitar and they have been so supportive and helped him with what he needs. They are so friendly and approachable and as they are a family owned business they really do look after you.

Needless to say if you are after anything to do with guitars then please make sure you check these guys out they are fantastic.

Nothing short of outstanding service from Leon and the team. These guys always go the extra mile, their guitars are setup to perfection, delivery and communication are handled with knowledge, professionalism, friendliness and ease. I find it hard to purchase or sell my gear anyplace else. WILDWIRE are a hidden gem. I really enjoyed my experience at Wildwire. The guys really listened to what I wanted and gave me a really good range of options when choosing my acoustic guitar. They were not interested in selling me the most expensive guitar I could afford, but the right one for me. They clearly have a passion for what they do. Highly recommended.

Superb service, bought a PRS SE CE24 Sandblasted Swamp Ash, way cheaper than anywhere else I’d seen and one of the first in stock in the UK, asked to collect from store rather than delivered as I was going to be in the area, really nice range of guitars and amps, will definitely be using again

Bought a Gibson Les Paul from Wildwire from their website. Purchasing online was very straightforward, the guitars are all very well photographed, weighed and serial numbers displayed. I did have a few queries after the purchase and Wildwire were very accommodating and helpful.
The guitar arrived next day via DHL. Excellently packaged and labelled as fragile. The guitar is perfect and I couldn’t be happier with it. I wholly recommend Wildwire Guitars.
