Parking services and complaints team…

Parking services and complaints team are absolutely horrendous. Speak to you in a condensing and dismissive manner. My car was parked over my driveway having maintenance done to the radiator and have denied me any help with complaining about the ticket. I now have to wait to take this further. It’s just their manner , so rude and so condescending

Wiltshire Council is a toxic organisation

Wiltshire Council is a council that cares nothing for the residents of Wiltshire. It's a regressive toxic organisation that seems to have no real accountability. Even their so called 'independent complaints procedure' is not independent. Their communication often borders on rudeness, is often incoherent and is designed to bully you into submission.County Councils should be working for the people. WC has no desire to do this, despite the fact it is a public service. It's shameful.

Food okay

Food okay, though a bit expensive and delivery driver not. Came early aswell so I won’t be ordering again.did not even ping the bell at my door, which was unlocked so will just get rid of boxes and washed out cartons. I just heard a voice, didn’t know at all who it was. Never used to be likethis.alsonever really know when they’re coming. Before twelve thirty is the earliest ever. I’ve seen it after two o clock and sometimes three. I should have put out the box at my door earlier, as you get ticked off. But I won’t order again.

Can't even get on the homing list since…

Can't even get on the homing list since my kid was 1, in a small flat with mold etc, they are definately a part of why homes 4 wiltshite stuff has changed. Because we are on universal credit we apparently earn to much to be on the housing list anymore. They literally just steal peoples money to do road works and put minorities ahead of their own country folk. Shame on them should be embarrassed!

Absolutely appalling council

Absolutely appalling council. Scum of the earth and anyone who works for them should rethink their life choices.
They're quick to give you a parking fine for parking in a bus stop that (and I'm not exaggerating) that has not been used in over 8 years and will reject every appeal you throw at them, despite the fact there is no sign saying you can't park there, but when you need them to fix pot holes or take your bins, they're nowhere to be found. Sort your act out Wiltshire council, you're making me hate my own home county and your actions alone are making me look elsewhere to move.

Superb Sewage Services

Our septic tank was emptied this morning by a most professional, helpful and proficient team. They took their time to make sure that everything was working as it should before leaving. They couldn’t have been more helpful and I would like to sincerely thank them as I appreciated the service they gave and the friendly way they did it.

ASB Team - Victim of ASB, Abuse, Stalking, Intimidation - Refer them to the Dog Warden,Vermin Control Officer

Anti Social Behaviour Team (ASB).

Wiltshire Council has not asked for, or claimed their Trustpilot reviews. Does that sound like a Council interested in the welfare and opinion of Wiltshire residents?

A two officer team to cover Wiltshire! One of whom does not live in Wiltshire, and the other a Dog Warden and Pest Control Officer. With only one officer living in the county, how are we being best served?

Victim shaming, marginalising, wrong footing, ignoring evidence and appearing to support the perpetrator and not the victim is an established pattern - twice. They humiliate victims and do not treat them with respect or consideration. Hearsay is relied upon as an overview no matter how prejudiced a former caseworker may have been against the same victim.

No thought is given to elderly victims with disabilities, in my case 82 years of age, degenerative osteoarthritis, two hip replacements, making mobility troublesome at times, and removal of the third distal joint, dominant hand, making small movements difficult.

I have advised that I feel threatened and menaced by the male in question. Ignored. I would not be able to run from him, should he become violent. As it is, he shouts abuse at me whenever the opportunity arises. Ignored.

The ASB team, such as it is, will not answer questions and then allege that the victim is sending too many emails, should they pursue them for answers. The question is, why do they not answer perfectly reasonable questions? Ask what qualifications they have. Ignored. Surely, we should know how qualified Wiltshire County employees are for their "profession..." They should know, for example, that Amersham is actually in Buckinghamshire and not Kent! If they do not know, then find out and do not make such glaring errors. Such ignorance does not engender confidence in their the ability to perform.

Wrongfooted for copying in officers who are also involved in a case or pursing an officer for answers to a question that they clearly do not wish to answer, or cannot. Very odd, that. Isn't communication and follow up accepted standard procedure...? Not with Wiltshire Council. You will be in a whole lot of trouble and receive a very unpleasant letter intended to intimidate and silence you, pointing out the "error of your ways." You will also be sent an article on "How to Behave..." This was sent to me after the fact, when the name of one of the officers was highlighted on Twitter as a "person to follow." Odd that I was blocked immediately. Not my fault that Twitter put the name in front of me!

Veiled threats are issued, allegations made and this is followed by name calling - "Vexatious Complainant" and then you are subjected to threats of litigation by their "legal" department - just because incidents of ASB, stalking, criminal behaviour and death threats are reported, sometimes on a daily basis in Log form or if the situation should become alarming, such as a death threat or a slashed tire, via email. Damage to property costing thousands of pounds to repair or replace. Ignored and not interested. Five of my cars were vandalised in a number of ways, whilst at home and in their parking bay. An attempt was made to drive me off the road and a tyre was slashed. It exploded, and I narrowly missed driving into a brick wall. Ignored.

Less than 30 minutes emailed notice that I did not see until approximately five minutes before an impending visit by the ASB Team and police just before Christmas one year to tell me that the case was closed and I was to be referred to the Vexatious Complainants division - UNTIL I provided the ASB Team and the police with intelligence that I had uncovered and investigated myself that they could not ignore. They backtracked - grudgingly.

Strongly prejudicial in favour of the perpetrator who receives words of encouragement. "...it's alright, everything will be Ok..." Shouted at me, straight from the mouth of the culprit! The Victim - anything but! You are wrong to be the victim of ASB and crime is their message.

Avoid if at all possible, you will be open to all sorts of grief. and humiliation - commonly referred to a "...Victim Shaming...."

Typical Civil Service

Dreadful to navigate around. Anyone would think that Wiltshire Council find it too bothersome for them to monitor. (but surely that couldn’t be the case ………could it?)
They need to try and use the website themselves so that they realise what a poor tool it is for the rest of us!
Expect a lot of them are still working from home so they’d have bags of time to give it a try.

Absolutely diabolical customer service. They are rude, unhelpful and everything is too much trouble. We pay your wages and should be getting the service to acknowledge this. Even McDonald's do customer service better than this shower.

Utterly useless

Utterly useless. Whether it's chasing payments promised by the government via the Household Support Fund or even having your bins collected, this organisation has lost the plot. When it became a unitary authority, it was the death-knell for the county.
They are STILL using the pandemic as an excuse for not collecting refuse bins - in spite of the fact they have always been useless!

Completely useless.

I've been waiting 3 months for the council to grant a Section 50 licence for my insurance contractor to repair a water leak. They've been ignoring the contractors emails and making obtaining it very difficult. Now they want to do a site visit tomorrow which I can't attend. I'm disgusted at this behaviour as it's becoming very stressful. I'll be considering court action if this is not resolved.

I have been trying to contact Wiltshire…

I have been trying to contact Wiltshire council for several days but can’t get through as the phone is never answered. I am constantly in a queue hanging on for 45 minutes at a time and no idea what place in the queue. Instead of paying £100,000s to the those at the top, the council should use that money to pay for more staff, then we might get better customer service.
