Reported issues during tenancy inspection which they have ignored, then upon ending the tenancy charged me for the issues - literally useless.

Really helpful, friendly and efficient Estate Agents. Guy and John always responded to questions and queries on the same day. The team assisted us in completing within 8 weeks.

John and Guy were both extremely helpful, from sending us the property initially, helping us through the offer process, recommending solicitors and keeping on top of progress. They were both very good at chasing solicitors for updates and keeping in touch with us, which resulted in a very smooth buying process. Would highly recommend!

Guy and John have been fantastic throughout the process and kept the whole chain from collapsing. They are helpful and friendly and made the experience much less stressful than it could have been!

It was a first class service throughout - from Steve's initial valuation to the viewings/negotiation with Tom, Maisie, Becca, and Alex, and the progression of the sale with Nicola. I recently viewed a property through Winkworth Barnet on 2nd August and submitted my rental application after the viewing, as advised. I was told someone would call me with more details, but no one did.

When I followed up by email, the agent (Matt) replied to say the property was still available but removed from the market to stop enquiries, and that five tenants had been proposed to the landlord. I responded immediately to confirm our strong interest and requested to be kept updated, whether the decision was in our favour or not.

Unfortunately, I received no further communication or courtesy update from the agent. Clear and timely updates are important when people are making such significant decisions about their home, and I feel the lack of follow-up here was unprofessional and disappointing.

Isobel made securing my new flat unbelievably quick and stress-free. Her professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail were outstanding — I always felt informed and supported. A genuinely friendly and proactive service that turned a daunting process into a breeze. One of the only times I have felt like a valued customer, highly recommended!

Went to a viewing in Bird In hand Mews, the letting agent was friendly and explained how the property was good, I must admit I was impressed. Both other the phone and in person it was clearly explained to me that advanced rent or a guarantor were both options to secure the tenancy if you did not earn enough for referencing. After my offer was accepted and found that, my guarantor did not earn enough due to a bad financial year this was communicated to me due to the accountant making an error for the finances of the business of my guarantor.

Following this informed the letting agent, that I would happily pay advanced rent they then informed me that they could not do this and and may have to forfeit my holding deposit. However I was misinformed until this point about the property, regarding how to secure the property. Because of this I have complained to the director and after two weeks they still have not refunded my holding deposit even after receiving an email from the director I will be refunded.

Dissapointed with this letting agency. Advise all new tenants and those seeking to rent to either avoid this estate agent or be very aware of their poor practices.

Absolutely shocking. Worst customer service, slow and rude. I contacted head office and they’re just as bad it’s astonishing. Not knowledgable at all and frankly lazy. Avoid and go to a proper agent.

We were travelling from up north to view a property in Putney and unfortunately hit extreme traffic - twice. Ben Goddard was incredibly generous, rearranging our viewing both times (the second after business hours), when it would have been entirely reasonable for him to cancel.

He really saved us from a potentially wasted 6-hour journey, and we ended up putting in an offer on the house. Thank you again!

We have used many estate agents over the years but Winkworth Highcliffe have been the best yet. They valued our house 50K above the other two agents (they did say it was a punt but worth a go) it sold in a week & the sale was managed beautifully with I would say were difficult buyers. Mike & Nick managed the situation with the perfect balance of friendliness & professionalism. They ever failed to respond to any query the day it was raised. 100% recommend if you are selling a house in the area of Highcliffe dont bother with anyone else.

The guys were amazing, Mike. Harvey and Nick. We had our bungalow on the market for 3 years and tried the estate agents in New Milton who were complacent and unsuccessful. Winkworths took us on they were extremely professional, knowledgeable and understanding. The sales team viewed our bungalow before showing buyers round which non of the other agents had done. Sold it fairly quickly too. Cannot rate them highly enough.

We were delighted when last week we sold our 1 bed flat in Greenwich and we would like to thank the excellent team at Winkworth Greenwich, Guy, John, Gillian and Deborah in particular. The team were a joy to work with and we cannot praise their hard work, dedication and attention to detail enough.

Iv seen lots of property I'm interested in in essex and iv sent a lot of emails regarding the property and know one has bothered getting back to me

Winkworth Chiswick allows newborn babies to live around black mould. Dear all at Winkworth Chiswick, would you be happy to raise your family in a home plagued with black mould? To spend hours every week scrubbing mould off of your walls and ceilings, spending your hard earned money on dehumidifiers and freezing over the winter months as you have to keep your windows open 24/7? Would you accept losing £500 worth of possessions due to mould? Would you accept mould on your 1 month old child’s cot? I’m sure you wouldn’t. But you made me feel like a nuisance, begging and pleading for the mould issue to be addressed.
I hope that I was simply the unlucky one, and your other tenants are given more care and respect. Take this as a learning opportunity, and STOP allowing lazy landlords to keep tenants in unsuitable conditions, especially when the issues are reported to you personally.
