A routine enquiry by email was answered promptly and a spare party sent out without any fuss. I have dealt with this firm now for the second occasion and each time has been stress free. Would highly recommend.

I'm not a Plumber but had problems with a toilet at home and identified a worn out diaphragm in the large syphon (only knew after bit of research).
I contacted Wirquin with the make of the flush unit to see if they still had them in stock.
I was contacted via email and I was sent a pack of 5 for nothing.
So what can I say apart from total surprise and thanks...so they get 5 stars from me.

I fit kitchens and bathrooms all over Stratford’s upon avon and surrounding areas , I fitted one such bathroom and the customer said could he supply the fixtures and fittings ( to save money I guess ) when all the bits arrived it was all from the internet , wirquin wastes , I did say at the time to buy quality wastes and fittings as it will cost more in the long run ( cost ME I should have said ) All was fitted and seemed ok for a few months , then I got a call saying they have a brown stain on the downstairs ceiling , with everything hidden and tiled in the only way in was to cut a hole in the stairwell wall to get to the bath waste , so it was dripping , I fitted a new seal and tightened it up , only went on about 3 turns , I said I don’t trust this , you should really replace with mc Alpine , but they said seems ok , 1 month later , same call , brown stain on ceiling , I had repaired the previous hole and painted it back in to match .. So I cut a new hole and there it was good old leaky wirquin doing what it does best ,, leaking again , but I took a replacement. Put it on and ran the bath and shower for 1 hour , dry as the Sahara, I’ve left the opening to check it in a few days , it’s cost me time and money to repair the part that’s not fit for purpose , But will wirquin send me £300 for lost time and diesel , I think not , so in future if a customer buys wirquin , I’m not fitting it , !!!!. There technical department needs looking at

Contacted via e-mail when I had an issue with an automatic flush, really helpfully offering some great advice to try and quickly resolve the issue. When this didn't work I expected to pay for a replacement part but they confirmed the unit was covered by a 10 year warranty and immediately sent out a replacement. Fantastic customer focused service. Thank you.

I needed some spare parts for my Wirquin cistern - the parts I needed were not generally available at the merchants. I looked up the manual and identified the exact parts I needed and emailed Wirquin. I got a reply back next day offering to send me the parts free-of-charge. Once I provided my address the parts turned up three days later. This is absolutely fantastic no quibble customer service. Going way beyond what I expected. What a great company with the human touch! The product is brilliant too (built-in wall-mounted toilet cistern).

Installed a bath trap last year to our bath. I noticed at the time the trap was flimsy and the threads really loose. Low and behold a year later the thread has jumped and I get a wet ceiling.
On the whole the mechanism was cheaply made with it being mostly plastic and the little brass parts there were are starting to corrode after 12 months

I have a Wirquin cistern which was only fitted in November 2020. The diaphragm washer in the inlet float valve needed replacing because the water kept flowing for 40 seconds after the cistern was refilled, then it finally shut off with a loud squeak.

I thought i would buy a complete set of replacement parts for our cistern, so i have them all ready if they ever stop producing them. Future-proofing, or so i thought.

I bought the inlet valve and the outlet valve, plus some spare diaphragm washers. So all should be good right?

Nope! There is a little red pivoting arm on top of the inlet valve, and that was loose. I decided to fit it just to test it because on my original one, the arm doesn’t wobble around loosely like the spare i bought.

So the spare was fitted, and it didn’t work. I got instant water hammer noises, and no matter how i set it, it wouldn’t operate as it was supposed to.

I had to re-fit my original inlet valve (i replaced the diaphragm washer first), and i got everything working as it should.

But the spare and new inlet valve is faulty, so i messaged Wirquin through Facebook Messenger and i sent them video and photo’s of the faulty part.

The faulty pivot arm just easily lifted off the mechanism, which you can’t do with the original. I noticed that the arm is supposed to be secured by 2 plastic hinge pieces, and one of those was missing. It doesn’t look broken off, it looks like a faulty part, a “short” casting of the plastic.

Wirquin got back to me saying that they spoke with their technicians, and the red pivot arm should not be removed! I know it shouldn’t! It is loose because its faulty! That the whole problem! They seemed to be insinuating that i had forced it off or damaged it somehow, which i didn’t.

They just left it there. No offer to replace it or help me to resolve the issue. It was pointless me even consulting them! They stopped responding to me after telling me i shouldn’t have removed the red arm… The arm which removed itself due to the faulty part.

I’m going to leave it as it is for now but i’m not paying another £20 for another part to re-replace the new part i already bought! The new part wasn’t fit for purpose, and there was no offer forthcoming to replace it.

When this cistern fails again, i will look for a different brand of internal parts for it. I won’t use McDee Wirquin again. Hopefully other companies will practice better customer care.

I needed a replacement filler valve for my toilet.
I contacted the Company and was given superlative
service.
I received the replacement early the next morning. Everything was included, even fitting instructions. Everything to make the job easier and quicker.
I cannot praise or recommend this Company enough. They are so efficient, understanding,and professional.

Fixed seal on shallow shower trap, making fitting to underside of tray so much easier along with screws pulling it in from topside. Great product

I am a professional plumber and we always try to use wirquin products when we can. They are reliable and we always get a hood back up from our local asm and the social media team

I recently fitted a Wirquin duel flush pneumatic valve.
Only one of the flushes will operate the valve. I tried to contact their technical helpline, only to listen to a ‘sales’ message on a loop. I eventually got someone on their finances number who then put me through to someone in their technical department. What a waste of time, this person obviously had no technical understanding of the product. He stated the unit would only work with a Wirquin ‘button’ and not with the flush button of any other manufacturer. What utter rubbish! The same principles of pneumatic’s still apply, when ‘A’ button is pushed air under pressure is passed down the tube to an actuator! WIRQUIN; (a), answer your customer service help, (b) have a technician who answers the calls who understands what they are talking about! I would recommend avoid their duel flush pneumatic valves. Personally, it’s the last time I will buy a WIRQUIN product.

Possibly some of the best quality pieces I've come across in 40 years of property maintenance, and so ahead of the game.

Absolutely spot on products from these folks.

The products are great and to be honest if you can’t install these then you wouldn’t be able to install anything else by any other brand. Step away from the pipes and get a professional in.

I am annoyed about people giving 1star reviews because they didn’t get a freebee from a show yet! Come on guys, this is not a good enough reason to damage a company’s star rating. Yes I’m was a while in the post but 1, there were thousands of trades people at that show and 2, don’t be so tight! Don’t wait for a freebee. Buy one and if you don’t like it return it like you would normally.

I went to a recent trade show at the NEC and got talking to the Rep. He talked me through the range and the benefits. He promised me a sample and it arrived after a couple of weeks and it’s Brilliant. I won a bottle trap on the stand with one of those claw picking machines. I can’t fault the products and are way superior to the cheap stuff some merchants push. Brilliant and will never buy anything else now!!

Toilet Syphon did not work, looked on the net and others had the same problem re-u-tube. They sell poor quality items u/less. I emailed them NO REPLY. Don't buy from here poor quality bad customer service a weast of time and money

At a trade exhibition I was promised that samples would be sent for us to try out. ....They never arrived and I forgot about it until your site popped up.
Now I can mention it and would still like samples to try out.

Spoke to Tim from the after sales team as had a problem with a bath waste I’d purchased in June 2019, that was installed in my bath. Without any quibble or fuss replaced it with a better part sent by post within 48 hours at no charge, outstanding service.

This is the best customer service I’ve had in a long time.

Outstanding customer service, spoke briefly on the phone with Tim exchanged couple of emails, Tim managed to source & despatch the part I required all by lunch time.

Was promised a nano waste at the trade exhibition, i even emailed the rep who promised me but to this day I've not received the waste, and feed back is very poor, ive been put off by this so wont be using their products any time soon
