Horrible shipping practice.

Woot charges $5 for shipping regardless of the item's size or weight. It then uses USPS parcel select (one of the slowest ways to ship things known to man) which can take up to 14 days. That's in addition to the 2-3 days wait while the item is "preparing for shipment."

It's hard to fathom how a company owned by Amazon (who has arguably the best shipping policies) can be sloppy.

Good Quality, No Problems

I've ordered shirts from Woot a couple of times and each time they were good quality, nice print and constant sizes. Shipping and timing were never a problem as the times were accurate. I never had to deal with returns or customer service so I can't speak for that but my shopping experience has been great.

Just for clarification - all I've bought from Woot are shirts.

Total scam. Stay away.

Nothing is returnable even though this is not mentioned when you order
something; it's buried deep in their website. Now I am stuck with a $400
item that is the wrong size and useless to me.

I did nothing but sign up & got bombarded...

Amazon sent me an advertisement about them, so I signed up to take a look. I immediately made sure not to have any personal information as well as unsubscribed for everything. So I took a look at their site & they are very small & there is nothing on it that made me interested. Going back to my profile, I looked to delete myself...well, you can't do that. Meanwhile I had checked my e-mail & had already 2 pieces of news from them-shouldn't have gotten but it said "if you got this by mistake just ignore or delete however if you want to subscribe then click on it". Going back to try to delete my profile, I sent them a message asking to delete me & wondering if they were even legit. I check my e-mail again & had another one of those uninvited messages! So I started to contact Amazon about all of this! I wrote to the regular customer service-tried to forward the original e-mail THEY sent me (but it wasn't going through correctly) & I even contacted their spoofing department! I still haven't gotten a response from Amazon, did get a response from Woot who said I've been deleted but I don't always trust that. I've been told by other sites that they deleted me before yet when I checked I still had an account. Update, since I am a fair reviewer...I did just check their site & yes I am completely deleted. At least they stood by their word with regards to this.

Don't waste your time........

I ordered a $30.00 standing cloths dryer rack, received notification that my order had shipped.....yay....NO. What was delivered is was a "seen on TV" Watermelon Slicer.......what the hell.

Like other reviews, there is no phone number to call for assistance. After I emailed them, I'm told that it's no longer is stock. How do you ship something you don't have???? I guess someone randomly chose my parting gift

Needless to say the watermelon gadget is going back and I found my original order for the same price from a reputable company

Feel cheated by Woot

Feel cheated by what woot did. Brought two items one is $24.99 and the other is $5.99. The later one is an after thought because it made sense with $5 flat shipping for any number of items. Fast forward few days, I got an email saying my order was split and they choose to ship the $5.99 item first and are still working on the other one. Next day I got an email saying they cancelled my other order and going to refund the $24.99. I tried to contact them and all I got is by mistake they over sold the item and send me a link for same item only difference is the price is $5 more and they don't have the color I ordered earlier. Bottom line I ended up paying $5 in shipping for a $5.99 item, which I might not have brought in the first place. This is the last time I would be buying anything from this website.

Buyer BEWARE

The first laptop that I ordered was DOA. The laptop was pacjaged and returned the very next day and I still have not received a refund 12 days later. After returning the first laptop, I ordered a touchscreen laptop with 1 TB hard drive, 12 GB RAM and AMD processor. Received (LATE) non- touchscreen laptop with 500GB hard drive and 8 GB RAM. Sucky customer service tried to haggle on the return, reluctantly issued a return label and refuses any other contact. Still waiting on my refund!! Shipping this piece of junk back in the morning.

If you read the fine print... unless your item is defective (my first one was) they will charge you a 15% restock fee and not return your shipping charges!

They are terrible and will not give a number to talk to a live person to resolve the situation.

Worst Customer Service

I've purchased through Woot before and had ok experience. Unfortunately, I recently purchased a t-shirt that ended up being slightly too small. I emailed to see if I could exchange size and NO. WOOT DOES NOT ALLOW SIZE EXCHANGES! What poor business and customer service. I want to support artists, but Woot DOES NOT. I will never buy from WOOT again. My money will never support another designer because Woot DOES NOT support their DESIGNERS or their customer. Poor upcoming artists. Woot lied to you.

Woot no longer. God bye after ten years. You are not what you used to be.

I have been on woot since the beginning and loved the site and their offering. I am now closing my account for three reasons:
1. The deals aren't that good anymore. Most of the time you can buy the same stuff with a vastly better return policy and customer service directly on amazon.com for just a few bucks more or the same price
2. Woot sells JUNK!! The last three electronics purchases I have made that were supposed to be "refurnished" were worn out heavily used items with damage and scratches as well as mechanical defects. Truly PURE JUNK!!
3. NO customer service. Once you got duped into buying what should to be good wares, but is actually junk, they don't even honor their 90 day warranty for defects. So they're misleading potential customers and in a way it's fraudulent to me.
BUYER'S BEWARE! SO WATCH OUT from a previous Woot lover. It's become a scam! I am closing my account after 10 years!

Downhill

I used to love Woot. Checked it every morning, bought a lot of great things, sang its praises to friends. Then, it started adding more and more junk. Then quality went down. "Community" discussions were no longer reliable but instead seemed fabricated by shills. And finally, the shipping got stupidly slow - I could get stuff from China faster then Woot. My most recent purchase was ordered a month ago and still not here. I give up. I'm done with what used to be a great part of my daily shopping.

Poor Customer Service

Ordered product and it didn't show up. Checked tracking and it stated I refused the package, which I didn't. In fact I never saw the packaged and had ordered same thing a week earlier and it was shipped to my mail box. Hard to refused something left in your mail box. Anyway, emailed Woot and got a form letter reply back stating I should contact the shipping company myself and see what they say. Silly, the shipping company has already stated I refused the package. Emailed Woot back and told them I paid $5.00 for shipping in which they picked the shipping company and it was their problem, not mine. Anyway, will just contact the credit card company and dispute the charge. It's apparent and my opinion Woot doesn't have any customer service. Would be hard to buy from them again.

Adirondack chairs actually just a pile of scrap wood

Recently (July 28, 2015), I ordered two Adirondack chairs from Woot. Total was about $130.00. Ad claimed they were made of cypress. Turns out they were sloppily stained soft pine. The hardware was very cheap. Screw heads disintegrated as they were turned. Chairs came partially assembled. Quality was so poor that the factory assembies pulled apart with ease. Screws pulled right out of the wood. I didn't get as far as actually sitting on them. Had I tried, I believe they would have collapsed into a pile of scrap. I complained to Woot in a detailed email. Twenty four hours later, they wrote back and asked for a detailed description of the problem. They said that once they received the email and some photos they would decide if they would help. I'm just going to charge back the order with the credit card company. I'm done with them for good.

I have been ordering for almost a decade - always a good experience

I have ordered refurbished and new electronics, homegoods, and the tshirts from these guys. Everything arrives quickly, and as described. It is a daily routine to check their family of websites. Shipping is only $5 no matter how much you fill the cart.

They provide the model number in their posts - you can easily search out reviews on the products and compare pricing elsewhere on the web before ordering.

Poorly Made Goods

I purchased a watch that MSRP listed for $1000+ and discounted for $99. Thinking that I got a deal when I purchased it... Later turned out feeling more like a scam. The watch came in a "paper box", with a poorly print warranty card (quality is probably worse than a business card), and a separate paper manual instruction that is unclear with how to setup the phone. Watch is poorly made, the dial is defective and not able to turn when received. Woot refused to provide any return.

Never ever again!
