Poor returns policy

I bought a beauty product on the way out of Heathrow T5. The product gave me a rash so I wanted to return it in my way back.
They point blank refused and said it wasn't their problem and that I should contact customer service. I was disappointed with the whole process.

Difficult refund experience

I used WeChat payment to pay at Heathrow Duty Free, WeChat payment has shown successful payment, but the duty free shop network is not good, the manager refused to give me the goods for the reason of not receiving the money at the moment, and promised to give me a refund within two days, but I waited for a long time and contacted the after-sales service many times but did not receive the refund, the amount of more than one thousand pounds is relatively huge, and also brought great inconvenience and psychological pressure to my life, I I needed this money to complete the payment of my grandmother's medical bills and the lack of prompt handling by the after sales staff has caused me extreme difficulties. I am now at my wits end and my money has not been received.

Terminal 4 Tanned, foreign lady with hair in bun

Terminal 4 (perfume section duty free)
I left the store devastated (4pm, 16th of sept) and I am never one to complain. A tanned, foreign lady with hair in a bun, brown hair having a chat with a work colleague… I was interested in an item and I needed to ask a question to do with duty free and how it worked, the way she replied was so belittling and made me feel so stupid. It’s like I was interrupting a juicy conversation and I was being a nuisance. I walked away about to cry. I’m happy I’m on holidays and then there’s people like that to upset you :(((( anyways I did purchase the item, would expect better service $150 later

Bunch of greedy unprofessional muppets

Bunch of greedy unprofessional muppets who clearly cannot run the business. All rare and valuable bottles are hidden and eventually lining dufry's management pockets on private auctions. Prices are way too high. Don't believe you're saving anything. You're actually paying 20%-30% more than the prices outside of airport.... Waste of time money and nerves.

Chanel Consultant Sold Incorrect Product

LHR - Terminal 5
Asked my other half to purchase a Chanel foundation for me.
Two photos on his phone showed the exact type of foundation and shade.
The Chanel consultant looked at the photo, nodded, handed him the product and took the money.
Only on his returning home did I discover that it was a completely different foundation.
Absolutely no use to me at all.
How do they get away with it?
Really unhappy and no way of returning.
This is very poor.

La Prairie Don’t Need The Business!

Heathrow Terminal 2 World Duty. Decided to splurge on La Prairie as I recently had a significant birthday. At 16.00 was amazed to be told the person in charge of the La Prairie concession had gone home early! Saved myself a fortune and now associate the brand with overpaid staff with poor work ethic and even worse attitude!

Rude

They seem to need more paperwork to buy something at the Eurotunnel Folkestone shop than immigration and customs combined. I had my ticket that would go in the windscreen (closest thing to a boarding pass I can think of), my booking reference, my passport but they wanted a QR code aswell (and were exceedingly rude asking for it) that to this day I have not found.

DO NOT BUY ANY SUPERDRY WATCHES FROM…

DO NOT BUY ANY SUPERDRY WATCHES FROM SOUTHAMPTON AIRPORT!
Bought a superdry watch and 3 days later it stopped working! Emailed customer services and no reply, it says on the terms of returning faulty good that the customer will have to pay for postage.
I called southampton airport duty free and they were rude and couldn't care a less!
It's a case of buyer beware!
I have not returned the watch as I doubt if I will get my money back as they can't be bothered to reply to my complaint! So I will take the watch to be repaired at my expense.

We spent over £100 including 2 bottles of gin and some cosmetics, the cosmetics we put in our own bag and the gin was put in a weak carrier bag, we left the store and realised the handle wAsnt strong enough so returned to the counter and asked for a replacement bag or 2nd bag, we were told we were only allowed 1 bag per sale, we should have split the sale as there were 2 of us. The company need to improve the bags and retrain the rude staff at Liverpool airport( till staff other staff were helpful) today at 10am

Eurotunnel duty free

Eurotunnel duty free

Advertised price for perfume as £67. When I i look paid receipt checked at £87. Staff h my ember was rude , wrongly quoted “ the law” regarding wrong prices , and deliberately attempted to delay my leaving to catch train on time - supervisor didn’t know what she was in about either and begrudgingly refunded me the difference. Won’t be using these rip off merchants again and suggest if you do that you check your bill carefully

Rude and Agressive behaviour staff member Birmingham Airport self check out 4th of October 2pm

Bad experience, staff member how spok to me very rudely I mentioned to the manager serval of them having a chat by the til... The staff member in question jumped and carried on arguing in front of the manager and 5 other staff members.
Not a clue about the definition of what customer service means...
Very desopented as been insulted and this aggressive staff member kept attacking me to make short she was looking for a fight in front of 5 of her colleagues what a shame...
Keep having staff of this level and you will probably feel the impact of customers not using your services.
I travel a lot and will be not buying a single item from you, I just let you know as even the manager been trying to cover up for her behaviour just UNACCEPTABLE
check the rota Monday 4th of October about 2pm the staff member concerned with her colleague been in self check out and the rest of the managers in the last till before the main waiting area entrance...

Selling Broken Luxury Goods

On 15th Feb from Heathrow terminal 4 world duty free I bought a Burberry body perfume bottle and kept it in my world duty free bag and board my flight from London to New delhi, via Abu dhabi. I kept my bag safely and carefully in the overhead bin of the aircraft and at Abu Dhabi Airport, while taking off that bag from over head bin I realised it was smelling perfume and leaked all inside the bag. The bottle leaked all the perfume.

At the abu dhabi airport and in washroom I opened the sealed and realised that the entire bottle was broken. You can see that in the video attached below. Also the bill was in the same bag and the entire bill ink letters got washed away and destroyed because entire bottle got spilled in my bag.

I have sent all these details to the customer care department, including all the proofs, information, barcodes and a very cleared photos & videos. However instead of helping us the customer care people were ignoring the query stating that they are not responsible if the packaging is poor or fragile, it's literally client's responsibility to carry it.

So my fellow friends kindly carry the perfume bottles while boarding, in your hands for the 15 hours light or on our heads, or keep it in your hand bag, which you will be asked to keep in the overhead bin as well, so if broken, it's your fault, they have already managed to eaten up your £70 by providing you broken products in sealed packaging!

Thank You!

Recently used their store at Terminal…

Recently used their store at Terminal 2, LHR. Questioned why they were so expensive for cigarettes and booze when compared with High Street supermarkets. I got it wrong and other customers have too, at least judging by some of the reviews. Spoke to a very helpful Manager who'd worked for years at Tesco and she put me right :) Their cigarettes, by way of one example, have the most prominent prices as being for a carton of 400 - which looks like 200 - but initial impressions are that that is also the price for 200. Booze, likewise, you need to double-check the volume before comparing with High Street prices. WDF are cheap on many fronts but the amount of content / volume you are buying is obviously key. WDF might help themselves to a greater extent with better shelving price tags.
