This course has been excellent even though it has taken a long time to complete all of the modules. I am a full time teacher and Assistant Head teacher so I am restricted to working in school holidays. On average each module has taken around 2 hours, with Module 14 being the longest coming in at 3 hours. I found the course material to be extensive and comprehensive; I do feel equipped to press ahead and write a book. It has also given me more material to take into the classroom to work with young writers.

The course gave loads of valuable information for beginners. It didn't assess any of your work though or give pointers on what you are personally doing well or poorly.

Just completed my course and I am overall very happy with its contents and what I have learnt from it. I would however recommend a re-design of the portal as it is clutter, confusing and just dated.

All in all, I would recommend it to anyone.

Writing Story Books for Children was an excellent course for any beginner writer. It is a comprehensive course that goes through every aspect of what it takes to become a published writer. Now that I have completed the course, I feel that I am well prepared to realize my dream as a professional writer.

The course was packed with lots of information and advice and although
i cannot remember it all i can go back into the course at any time to remind myself . Lesson 14 hopefully will be very relevant when i have written
my first book!! now all i need is inspiration.......

This is a great course, very user friendly and nothing that I couldn't understand. The 14 modules broke it down very nicely and it was useful knowing how you were getting along by the end of module tests. So glad I did the course and the idea of writing a book feels much closer and clearer of the process. Thanks!

Everyone has that story they want to put down on paper but don't have the time or confidence to commit to. This course helped me to focus on the right points and gave me the boost I needed to give writing a go.

This course was exactly what I was looking for when I finally decided to start writing my book. I learned so much about what makes a good story, how to tell this story to your target audience, and how to pursue publishing it. You are required to take a test at the end of each module and must pass it before being allowed to continue which locks you into the course order. I would have preferred being able to dip into any module at any time.

The course is structured in a superbly user friendly interface. The navigation between each section is smooth and the clarity of the explanations are easily absorbed. The questions at the end of each module can catch you out, so read the question twice before settling on an answer. I also like the fact your wrong answers are shown for each module. The end if the the course is a let down though. I completed the final test and that was that. No " Congratulations, you have completed the course". Just your percentage mark for module 14 and you were left wondering what happens next. Overall a great course , but could do with something at the end to make the time and effort feel worth it. I would recommend this course to anyone.

I took this course to learn how to write a book for my grandson, where he is a character in my story. Having taken hundred of courses in my lifetime, I have to say that WriteStoryBooksForChildren is in the top 5 as far as learning, explaining, examples. I also enjoyed that we had a quiz at the end of each module, so that you couldn't just skip a module. I know, I know, I tried it. But I'm glad that I couldn't as I learned important things that I would have missed had I been allowed to skip a module. They were all very well laid out and organized.
I have now finished my book and I am ready to look into publishing.
Without this course I would still be thinking about writing a book for my grandson.

If you really want to explore writing as a profession, this course is a great way to start. I am learning so many interesting aspects of becoming a professional writer as a creative outlet. I am still in the process of working through the modules, so my final review will reflect more information on this course.

This course covers everything you need to understand in becoming a credible author. A relatively small investment for what may become a lifetime love for you.

Write Storybooks For Children was a fun and informative course. I learned many new things and refreshed my mind on things I already knew. The course was interesting and easy to follow. Each segment was followed by a test. Taking notes made this easier and you couldn't move on unless you passed.

This is a really cool site. Though it is not perfect, any flaws are absolutely minor and easily overlooked when you consider how great the whole thing is. Definitely glad I did it. It has inspired and excited me to write, while giving some amazing tips. It tells you everything you want to know and then some. Very happy with it and I am glad to be a member of that community.

I really enjoyed this comprehensive course, and feel I learned a lot about writing books and articles for children from it. It was easy to fit the course around my other commitments, and the quick tests at the end of each module provided a useful way of remembering key points. I did experience some technical issues along the way - my browser froze on some of the screens - but managed to overcome these, thanks in part to the prompt support of the course team.
I would definitely recommend this course to other aspiring writers.

Really enjoyed the course I have just completed and passed. it was full of good information whether you're a total beginner or already published. its easy to follow, always interesting and it will inspire you to write.
My motivation for completing it was always there and its taken me just a matter of weeks. Well done to the author for the structure, pace and content.
