I recently purchased a new RX-A780 A/V Receiver. I encountered a number of problems during setup and continue to have issues in every day use. I contacted Yamaha Customer Support and was told that they can't test every brand on the market for compatibility. I guess compatibility with Sony and Apple TV 4K are not important to customers. So I wrote a complete and detailed review and posted it to the Yamaha web site. Now months later the review is still not posted. Buyer beware, the bad reviews don't get posted let alone addressed.

I got a Yamaha electric piano (P80) about 12 years ago and it's still in fantastic working order.

They are obviously quite a big company these days and sell lot's of stuff which I've never tried, but as far as I'm concerned if you can make an electric piano that works after this long and many trips in the car, then I can't complain.

The crazy thing is, the piano was second hand when I got it, so it's been through 3 owners and it's still working well.

I wonder what's wrong in the heads of corporations that sell expensive audio equipment and then they suddenly start charging to stream online radio?

This is the same poor behaviour as your customer service!

I bought a piano from Yamaha and it works well.

Very disappointed in the quality and handling of the boat, and the way customer service handled it. Get extended warranty, you will need it, and make sure you document through a licensed dealer if there are any concerns with the boat the second you notice the slightest change. Steering cables had broke on my vessel and they did not warranty it, as it was 5 months out of warranty. I would not recommend a jet boat.

Tried to find a Yamaha Dealer showroom with in 100 miles of Baltimore and Washington DC. Chat with Cori online 4/26/19 2:20PM what a moron. He or she ended the chat because they are incompetent. No showrooms for hearing their speakers is what they typed...I said Screw it..... I Will buy the QSC 15 instead. They must do a sensational business but arrogance is the true infancy of failure. You will lose in the end I promise!

I had bought a brand new Yamaha receiver that failed within the warranty period. Looking for customer support, my e-mails to the US customer support website went completely unanswered. Could only find someone on the phone after a very long wait, and he denied the warranty because it was not purchased from an "approved" retailer. Buyer beware.

Recently purchased a Yamaha ys-408 soundbar and two 021 musiccast speakers at quite some expense I might add,because they had a promotion for money back,I applied for this but was told the claim was invalid because I had purchased from two different dealers,I had tried
but they were out of stock so I purchased elsewhere and it was then that they told me it was invalid,however the cash back could be on the two speakers only,I tried again but this time I was told the invoices as proof of purchase were invalid,no explanation was forthcoming,I sent numerous emails asking why the sales invoices were invalid to no avail and now the have answered to say it’s too late the campaign was finished.NEVER WILL I PURCHASE A YAMAHA PRODUCT AGAIN and will inform everybody I know to be wary of such a slimy company

Sent me a a non working product then puts me on hold for an hour while they "process the warranty".

Bought a MusicCast wireless speaker (WX010) and found that the bluetooth cannot be restricted to certain units or use a password or physical intervention in the pairing process.

This means that I cannot use the unit as my neighbor hijacks (just because he can) the unit and plays loud music in our house during nighttime. Extremely scary. Also if I had

I contacted yamaha about this, and their 'solution' is to turn off the unit at night! That's just ridiculousness as the problem is that yamaha in no way includes any kind of data security. Turning a smart unit off complete ruins the idea of 'smart'.

The issue could be resolved by a software update... Why don't you provide this Yamaha?

That you cannot use this product if you live in an apartment should be stated under 'specs' so that future costumers are not tricked into wasting their money and getting scared during night time...

Terrible customer service. Take ages to reply and even longer to sort out your issue. Quality products - yes generally. But if you want reliable customer service if an issue occurs don't bother!! Buy another brand!!

This review is for a High end Yamaha Av rxa3070 receiver, good build quality was lacking a few features that my previous Denon Av receiver had sound quality is good but could be better when compared to the High end Denon receivers overall I’m happy with the purchase would have given it a 5* had it not been let down by some features and the sound quality

Ive been attempting to resolve an issue with Yamaha for over a year with no success. i am constantly writing emails and calling them in attempts to get help but am consistently blown off. All i want is for my product to work as advertised. They obviously have little care for their customers and this causes me to think more then twice before investing in any of their other gear. I own a studio in New York City and i wont be recommending Yamaha instruments to my clients any more, thats for sure.

Recently purchased a Yamaha Vity. Lovely bike, remarkably efficient. When I upgrade to a larger motorcycle, I will 100% go through Yamaha!

yamaha is great just great. the sound quality is good. i bought a yamaha drum kit dtx450k and it is good.

Second receiver we've bought and tried to install for a customer...Musicast and Pandora problems this time...simply can't get any support over chat or the phone. I should have know better...fool me once.....already done with Onkyo for similar reasons...guess all business goes to Denon. And, guess I should have read all the other reviews previously...Yamaha cares not....

Best piece of equipment I’ve ever used. I got sent the Yamaha MusicCast YAS306 soundbar and the WX-010 speaker to review and wow the sound quality is absolutely amazing. I used both for parties over the Christmas period. The sound is extremely clear and both devices were easy to use. You download the musiccast app and you can control the devices from your phone. I love how I can place each device in a seperate room and control both to play different types of music. My friends and family that I showed the speakers off to were amazed at the fact that these could be controlled differently. They look incredibly modern in my home with their sleek design. It was easy to connect to my WiFi and I had no problem setting them up to use. Some of my friends were that convinced they bought a couple! The sound is that clear and can be incredibly loud if you want to annoy the neighbours! I am really happy with these speakers.
