Brighton Store.

Great Quality Sushi - Delivery occasionally totally unrealaable.

The sushi is very good - I use the Earls Court branch. Also the menu has a wide variety to choose from and changes with new items from time to time. They are *usually* reliable and deliver pretty quickly. I use their own website for delivery and rarely have any issues whatsoever.
*UPDATE: ordered today and it is now over 1 hour later, I called and they said sorry no drivers not our fault we can cancel your delivery but it takes 5-7 working days for your refund - BULLSHIT took less than 1 second to take the money from my credit card.

I've picked up food in-store twice from the Brixton branch

I've picked up food in-store twice now from the Brixton branch, and both times the staff have been really friendly and the food fresh and delicious. I had the miso aubergine and veggie sushi—both were excellent. I’m usually cautious with miso dishes because of the salt content, but this was perfectly balanced—not too salty, which meant I didn’t feel the need to drink loads of water after. The veggie sushi box was filling, and I really enjoyed the variety. No complaints so far—I'll definitely be back for a payday treat!

Yo! Sushi Ealing is an absolute gem. The staff are incredibly friendly, always welcoming with a smile and going the extra mile to make sure every guest has a fantastic experience. Their service is truly outstanding, adding thoughtful touches that make all the difference.

The food? Amazing. The katsu curry is a personal favorite—perfectly crispy, rich, and packed with flavor. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxed meal, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommended!

I ordered the Spicey Noodle Soup and it was delivered promptly. However it was far too salty to enjoy. Once you put in the salt there's no taking it out.

I am very disappointed. Would welcome a second delivery FOC without the salt.

But as it stands; never again.

Been nearly 2.5 hours delayed delivery and still waiting. Phoned them 3 times where I was told every single time the problem was the driver. Disrespectful and frustrating. The lady who answered the phone didn’t apologise at all.

Good restaurant, bad website.

The restaurant is fine but stay clear of this website! They will take your money without the restaurant having the order. Use another service for delivery or just order in person for collection, the wait won't be long.

Super Disappointed

Im a returning customer, I reorder food from youme sushi more than 20 times and this time not only my order took more than one a half hour to arrive from the Ealing Branch and also no soy sauce or any wasabi/ginger was sent with the sushi I’ve ordered. Food (2 x katsu currys) was cold and all messed up….this has never happened before.
I used to order from the turnham green brach (Im not sure if the ealing branch “the green” is the same) but my point is that I never had problems with my orders before.
My order arrived after the expected arrival time and this ETA has changed twice in the Uber app before it arrives.
Very disappointed.
I have a 4 month old baby, and because it took so long to get the food, she was already sleeping by the time the driver arrived and when he rang the intercom she woke up again leaving me and my wife in another marathon to put her back to sleep.
Please ensure orders arrive on time and PLEASE send soy sauce/ginger/wasabi when people order sushi… I had to eat them with mayo as there was no sauce with it!

Outstanding Service and Delicious Sushi – A Pleasant Surprise!

I recently visited You Me and Sushi, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. As a regular customer, I had seen some mixed reviews before, but after my recent experience, I can confidently say this place is a gem. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. The server, a kind and courteous South Asian gentleman named Dhandeep, truly elevated the dining experience. He was not only humble but also extremely attentive to every detail, making sure to cater to my preferences with such grace and professionalism. His warm demeanor made me feel welcome and valued as a guest.

I also appreciated his honesty in informing me about the difference in charges for dine-in and takeaway, which I thought was completely fair, especially given how busy the restaurant was. It showed that they prioritize transparency with their customers.

On top of that, they offer a student discount, which is a nice bonus, making it even more affordable for students like me.

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The entire experience, from the impeccable service to the quality of the dishes, was truly delightful. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi and even better service!

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience l've ever had at a restaurant.


As a loyal customer of this establishment, I’ve always considered it my favourite spot for a meal in London. However, my experience today left me deeply disappointed and quite shaken.

I’m a young, student with autism, and after a long day without food, I visited to get my usual order—the vegan crunchy roll with avocado maki on the side. I was initially told that the dish wasn’t available, despite it being on the menu. After showing the item to the staff, they reluctantly agreed to serve it.

I was asked if I wanted to dine in, which I typically do. In my past visits, I’ve never been charged a service fee, but this time I was. When I kindly requested a refund to apply my student discount and remove the service fee—something I understand was my oversight—the staff member began raising his voice. I tried to explain that I regularly visit and am familiar with the usual price I pay, but he kept insisting that the service fee comes out of his own pocket. His tone escalated to the point that I was on the verge of tears, especially as someone with a disability who finds such confrontations particularly distressing. To make matters worse, I noticed the chefs at the back laughing at the situation.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience l've ever had at a restaurant, and it has affected me so much mentally.
As a student who values kindness and understanding, this experience was deeply upsetting. I hope that this store will reconsider how they treat their customers, especially those who may need a bit more patience.

The time and day I entered were Friday 4th October 2024, sometime between 20:50 to 21:20. I was scared to ask for names, but there were three male staff members: the server, who appeared to be South Asian, and two chefs—one who appeared to be East Asian and another I couldn’t clearly see. The chef who appeared to be East Asian was the one I noticed laughing during the incident.

Excellent Youmesushi in Rayleigh

There is aa new Youmesushi in Rayleigh Essex. We have been twice now and on both occasions it was wonderful. Service was excellent and the Chicken Katsu Curry was very tasty and the curry sauce excellent especially as it is served on the side so you can dip the chicken in the pot so it stays crispy. Hubby had Chicken Teriyaki and said he would have it again and again . I want to tryt he Maki next and the crazy crunchy rolls so will be visiting again very soon. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the tables were clean and fresh so a lovely addition to our high Street.
