Hampstead High Street has 2 excellent Sushi take away offerings but YOU ME SUSHI is not one of them. BEST STAY AWAY and go to either of the other 2 which are always reliable and great.
You me sushi's food last night was terrible. The contents of the Salmon box were so cold and drying out they were inedible; perhaps made in the morning and stored too cold all day? Even the miso soup was so over salted that the usual delicate flavors were lost. The Gyoza dumplings had skins akin to dried cardboard rather than being moreish delicious little dainty savoury parcels. I ordered Eel Nigiri but the server mixed my order and included more inedible salmon. Its prices are lower than its 2 competitors, but no wonder; even if they were giving it away I would steer well away from You Me Sushi!
Flavoursome, well made and fresh
For the third time in a row YouMeSushi Walthamstow has delivered swiftly and courteously an excellent meal reasonably priced: flavoursome, well made and fresh. Best of all, my allium allergy is catered for with no fuss or bother. We'll certainly be back.

Ealing Boardway - Used to love their food and purchase more than once every week.
Recently the food not fresh, salmon is okay but tuna no no good. The sushi rice often too soft and the sushi not tasty anymore.

I haven't received my order and in an hour, when I called the restaurant to check what's going on, they said they've left it near my front door.
I went downstairs to check and my food was everywhere on the ground.
Highly recommended if you want to eat your food from the ground.
Unauthentic a real disappointment
After reading the reviews this looked a good bet. Unfortunately it turned into an expensive disappointment. The presentation was fine but I want to enjoy my meal. The entire meal consisting of prwan gyoza katsu curry and omega 3 sushi was devoid of any flavour what so ever. If you were blinfolded you would not be able to tell one from tother. Totally unauthentic bland and amateurish attempt at Japanese food. Infact you get tastier and better at waitrose or sainsbury's.How anyone could give this a good rating is beyond me.
Poor Service on Muswell Hill
Poor customer service & a very long wait for food at the franchised YouMe Sushi on Muswell Hill - I waited for over 30 minutes for my order to be ready. 4-5 people who ordered and paid for their food after me had long gone with their orders. When I asked the front of restaurant staff about the delay, not only did she not apologise for the delay, but she said they didn’t follow the order of purchases whenever they didn’t have enough staff and just prepared food in any order they liked. They had 3 people working in the kitchen and one more joining them soon after I paid for my order. This is not about staff shortage but lack of operational discipline and poor customer service.
Dreadful food
Had delivery. Katsu bites came without sauce that was meant to be with it and was disgusting. Tuna poke even worse. Something came with dried onion that just burnt mouth. Left most. Feel quite ill after eating. No wonder their review form is unavailable on their website.
Bowl size has change to more than a half less.
I normally order the salmon bowl and it was a big bowl with a good portion and today I received a different bowl which is almost a half less of what they used to deliver and the portion is for a baby. I consider that a huge scam due to the price being the same and the size of the bowl is just embarrassing. I will definitely not buy here anymore. This is not marketing this is how to lose clients in one day. I can show you a picture of both bowl if you want.
Ordered to collect and once I arrived to the place they told me the website had a mistake and I should collect from the other corner of London
Extremely horrible customer service. I ordered through their website to collect from Grays Inn, for which I received an e-mail confirming the order and pick-up location. Once I arrived to the place, I was told they had not received my order. I called the phone number in the e-mail to be told that they only offer collection from their Marylebone branch, despite their website allowing me to choose Grays Inn, and that I had to go all the way to collect it from there. After rejecting walking for another hour, they told me to ask the Grays Inn branch to call them. The staff at Grays Inn did not manage to contact them in 15 minutes although it took me only another minute to do so from my phone and put them in touch through my personal cell phone. When I finally got the order from the Grays Inn branch where I had been waiting for already 30 minutes, the employee told me they were doing me a favor only for this time, as if it was my fault that their website sells services they can't fulfil! Unbelievable! When I thought nothing else could go wrong, I got home to open my package and discover they hadn't added a single sachet of soy sauce.
Overall, terrible experience with even worse customer service. Last time I order from them.

I see lots of bad reviews on…
I see lots of bad reviews on youmesushi, and truth be told it's not always perfect. However, you will always get your money worth, provided you are aware that this is "fast food" sushi place, and not a one Michelin star. We have been customers for many years now.
The website is also fully functional.
I spent close to £40 on a 36 piece…
I spent close to £40 on a 36 piece platter and received 6 imitation crab stick rolls. No self respecting Sushi restaurant uses "imitation crab meat.
Customer service response was a break down of the ingredients in a crab stick. But unable to confirm 40% Surimi, which is basically fish poo 💩🤔.
Very disappointed for the food…
Very disappointed for the food delivered. It was supposed to be freshly-prepared upon request, but they sent over semi-frozen boxes of very poor quality instead. I ordered from a restaurant that you rate 4.7 but they sell supmermarket pre-packaged sushi boxes with almost frozen rise and fish inside. We have binned the food. I could have bought the same boxes at Tesco at a quarter of the price without waiting for the delivery. This is simply ridiculous. You must state that the food sold by this restaurant is pre-packaged and is not freshly-prepared. Also the prawns were cold and didn't taste any good. I will write now a very negative review on this restaurant. This is not right. I won't recommend this restaurant to anybody. You can find exaclty the same quality sushi at any supermarket at less than half of the price. Also very disappointed about Deliveroo behaviour. I have now cancelled my account.
Ordered directly from the youme app…
Ordered directly from the youme app they forgot half the order! Called them several times for the rest of my food and was told driver is on his way, then he had had an accident, the food didn’t arrive in the end. That was the second time.
The first time we ordered the sushi, the Edemame was drowned in fish oil and inedible - we didn’t complain but this time, we are beyond frustrated!
Great value for money
Great value for money, and actually decent quality sushi. Definitely recommend.
