Very Bad Customer Service. Credit Card charged without authorization

They charged my Credit Card without my authorization. Customer care are unreachable. No one is responding on chat and email. No local customer care number and an international call to USA number just connects and disconnects hence wasting our money.

fraud - Yupptv taken money from my credit card

I cancelled my subscription. 25th March received an email from Yupptv to confirm that they have cancelled my subscription. April they took £139 out of my credit card without my knowledge. this is fraud.

Anil has salvaged the deal

What the F is wrong with this company?
Taking money out of my account without permission, when I told them last time I will confirm myself when they can take payments.
Offered me a deal of £109 but then took £139 without my permission.
Customer service number does not work. I will be going to my bank to get a refund of their transaction today. They can stick it up their behind - worst service I have ever experienced from a streaming company.

They have refunded £30 and honoured the original offer. Review updated

Non existing customer care

As usual, I am forced to leave a negative review for YuppTV to fix the issue I reported last week. When reported the issue, I received a generic response with a ticket number and a broken promise of an update within 24 hours. My subscribed Flowers TV (Malayalam) has not been working for live and catch-up services since last week, and I am missing all my favourite programmes. YuppTV seems very happy taking my money for a service that I cannot use.
I mentioned in review in the past that this is a fraudulent company and should not be trusted. Despite numerous complaints, they still can’t enhance or invest in their service, they can’t even provide content in HD. If you look at the YuppTV reviews, you can see that one person named Mohammed Aseef is consistently receiving 5 stars, which is suspicious. Beware, this is a scam company and should not be trusted. I have decided not to renew my subscription as they are only interested in viewers’ money. I will find an alternative, as I’m tired of their excuses and poor communication.

They are asking me to share my registered details. There is no option to share except twitter or Facebook. I haven't got neither of them.

Can't get hold of Customer Service at all

Very poor, customer service, when you telephone it goes onto voice mail, they say the mail box is full so you get cut off. Another way is to contact via what's app, but no one replies back. This is ridicules!!!! How does a paying customer get in touch with Yupp tv's customer service branch? I am changing over and looking to for similar providers with better customer service now! I urge everyone else do the same… zero customer service !

Beware if you gave your credit cards to these frauds

If you gave your credit card details to these frauds, best thing to do is to contact your bank, cancel your card and get a new card number. I stopped using their services from last mid year after they stopped the channels which was promised when package was purchased and cancelled the subscription from their website. Guess what, there is no way to remove the card details from the website. That itself looked like fishy. But didn't bother as they are supposed to get authorization for renewal. Few days ago one asxxxxe called from this shi**y company and asked me to renew subscription. I have told him i dont want your shi**y service anymore and don't call from this company again. The next day i got email stating that my subscription is renewed and my credit card is charged without my consent. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and also going to engage law enforcement agencies against this fraud company. Don't trust the positive reviews here, it may from their own employees.

After 3 days of non reception no…

After 3 days of non reception no response from YuppTV other than just sending automated emails. Problem still persists. If this is continues I may have to discontinue the contract and engage another provider

Horrendous service

Horrendous service.

I started a YuppTV subscription for a specific package on 3/1/2024. It's now 3/26, and I still haven't been able to access the package.

Calls to Yupp TV Support are hung up immediately.

Worse, I can't even cancel my subscription going forward!

I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company.

But what a disgrace YuppTV is!

BEWARE: PROTECT YOUR CARD DETAILS

Addendum
Had to block the card and raise dispute via credit card company. YUPPTV had to refund as did not stand a chance. Not even an apology from them.

YUPPTV has disappointed me on several accounts

1. I had subscribed to
- Yupptv Marathi Hindi Gold + Sonyliv package March 2023
- this included yupp flix as well as 2 months additional for Marathi Hindi

2. My YuppTv Marathi Hindi Package is valid upto 4th May 2024 as per attachment.

3. I have previously emailed Yupptv not to renew my subscription. Yet, someone from Yupptv customer care has signed me up for another year without my permission.

4. My subscription is NON- RECURRING. Yet Yupptv has used my stored credit card details without my permission and without my authorization debited £154.99.

This is not only poor service but unprofessional and illegal too.

When it comes to renewal they keep pestering with several calls almost 2 months prior to expiry of your package. But you cant speak to anyone when you need. There isnt a customer care number to speak to anyone. Email complaint yields no response even after 3 days.

Take care...Beware.....

Beware of this cheat company

Beware of this cheat company.

Never in my life I heard of paying for subscription and also being spammed with ads. They take money from you and advertisers to the point where the ads take over the entire show. I wrote a similar review and within 24 hours they fixed the issue for the YuppTV app. It went well for 2 days and then it was back to square 1 - Indian and Australian ads take over the shows.

Never renewing subscription ever.

Beware - it’s a scam
I have been with them since 2 years. They called me in Feb to renew; a month before the actual expiry. They speak very nicely and sweetly. I paid for a year.
Once you pay for the year - there is no refund and no turning back.

3 weeks back Sony Liv didn’t work and asked me to pay 36£. It took them 4 days to sort this out.

Again this week it stopped working. Again it took 5 days to resolve.

You have no option to call and connect. You are at the mercy of them to respond on chat whenever they want and they repeatedly ask you the same questions; I told them, I watch the shows on iPad; still they keep asking me this question.

No renewals next year; your customer service is horrible. You can enjoy the subscription I paid this year; not again guys.

Plus the chat agents have the audacity to write to me in bold letters when I ask for a refund. Imagine their audacity- I am the customer who is facing problems and I am bullied because I asked for a refund.

Horrible. Will try and see if there are any customer care tribunals to deal with thugs like them.
