What can I say but I made the right choice in getting ZAPS GARAGE DOORS to put a roller door on my garage. From making the initial phone call, to the surveyor coming out to the fitters Ian and Jason, who were amazing, so professional, polite and did an outstanding job. They were excellent value for money. Had a spring go on my original Hormann garage door and Zap Wakefield came to the rescue with a quick replacement and fitting before Christmas.
Then the head unit had an issue and Zap sorted that too, even with a personal call from one of the directors, everything was sorted and very friendly customer service. Would recommend.

Great job. From the MD coming out to survey my garage to the pleasant, clean and tidy workmen the whole experience was painless and a good experience. I had the center pillar taken out of my double garage and a double electric door fit. After about 8 weeks I thought I had a fault and rang the office, the lady was so knowledgeable and talked me through some steps and said she would try and get someone to come the next day to look over the door, 2 hours later a knock on the door, it was the MD he had driven 50+ miles to get to me, turned out not to be a fault and it was working perfect within minutes. How good was that? that’s customer service!

The lads arrived on time and worked tirelessly to complete the task removing the existing item with care and erecting the new one with precision, they are a credit to your company.

I telephoned for a service call as the doors had tripped the fuse and the remote was dead even after replacing the batteries. I was told that the call out price is £80 plus Vat payable at time of booking. So I paid £96.00.
On the day the perfectly polite chap opened the doors manually, unclipped a facia panel and pressed a reset button! He checked the faulty remote, it's just the LED light isn't working, it's not a problem and left! Less than ten minutes, no remorse, no while I'm here I'll give it a once over/overhaul. Look up online before calling them out. £96.00 to press a concealed reset button is criminal.

Absolute nightmare. Wrong specification on door supplied, safety issues ignored, told by fitter to throw safety mechanism away. 15 months and it is still unsafe. Avoid this company at all costs. They will come up with excuse after excuse. Awful. Just awful.
UPDATE: 16 months and it is finally fixed. Harrowing phone call from one of the managers blaming everyone (suppliers) but Zap. Told me that the manufacturer's representative (from Allutech) only said door was unsafe because "he doesn't like Zap". Perhaps you should ask yourself why?? BUYERS BEWARE.

This review is about the Sheffield branch of Zap Garage Doors.
From the moment of visiting the show room on Attercliffe Common and meeting Simon, through to the visit of salesman Jason and finally meeting the installation team Stafford & Mark I felt confident that Zap was the correct choice.
Jason immediately realised what type of doors I wanted & the extra work involved and prepared a comprehensive quote and there was no pressure selling.
Following looking at other companies I was happy to place my order and
an Installation date of my choice was agreed without problem.
The installation team, Stafford & Mark, completed the job in the promised time and produced an excellent finished job.
I am very satisfied with final result and so happy I chose Zap Sheffield.
