The product I purchased was exactly as stated and loved it, the delivery and communication was terrible.
The product arrived approx 5 weeks after expected due date with no communication from Zavvi about updated date or delay, as well as being difficult to contact. As this was a birthday gift for someone, it was very disappointing to have nothing to give to her on the day.

ordered an item but had the wrong delivery address, which was my mistake, however i now have 4 un awnsered customer service queries i submitted trying to recitfy my mistake, there is also a pre order on my account that defaulted to the same incorrect address! Due to the first query being ignored the order was dispatched, resulting in it being undelivered and returned to sender by royal mail!! Sent evidence of this to customer service zavvi only to be ignored again! So now i have two 4k steelbooks being bounced back from pillar to post by royal mail! All i want to do now is get a refund and im going to delete my Zavvi account and i wont be buying again. I have already cancelled orders that i can and have removed all payment details . Dont know how im going to get a refund because you cant get any awnsers to customer service queries!!

PS 17/1: got Zavvi's request for more info 4 days ago and responded immediately, zero follow-up from them. Can only assume the reason they ask for more details on the public review page is so it looks to others like they care about their customers, not because they actually intend to do anything.
Had such a bad experience I would have thought this company's a scam, except that they didn't get any money out of it. Bought a title off the Zavvi Australia website on 30 Nov as a Christmas present, was told I could only track my order if I made an account. Declined this option, because why should I have to make an account just to track my package? Received an email 5 Dec to say "we're aware your order hasn't been sent, we're working to get it dispatched" - after that, silence (apart from the endless marketing emails, of course). No package.
Tried to contact them the week before Christmas for an update, discovered I literally *couldn't contact customer service* without creating an account - utter bullshit. Created an account, because it felt like that or give up on my package. Sent a message asking about my package - no answer. Today I tried logging into the account I'd been forced to make, to see if that would show a reply to my message. Not only no reply, but no record of my message. And then, while digging deeper looking for my message, I found a record of my original order, now listed as cancelled. Checking my bank records showed Zavvi refunded my purchase on 12 Dec without a word.
Oh, and to add insult to injury, "Zavvi Australia" is absolutely not based in Australia, since I was charged an international transaction fee on my purchase.
So the end result of shopping with Zavvi: no Christmas present, 6 weeks of frustration, one Zavvi account I don't actually want, and I'm out of pocket one international transaction fee (cos of course that wasn't refunded).

I submitted a question about a preorder I had placed and have had no response regarding that, though i keep getting hounded by zavvi about how their service is or other specials they have. How bout you answer your customers questions before sending more emails suggesting other things they will probably not get from zavvi now.

No option to request refund only to cancel order! Order cancelled and STILL awaiting an apology, my refund and a response! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID - lots of other customers affected too

I ordered items that were in stock for christmas. The items were no dispatched for over 4 weeks. I emailed the company a few times to receive the generic "thank you for your patience your order will be dispatched soon" I couldn't cancel my order to receive a refund so I could purchase something else for christmas. Emailed to cancel twice and had zero response. Poor customer service and slow dispatch and items not really worth the wait.

I purchased in November, for Xmas presents. A month later they still hadn’t been dispatched, it’s nearly New Year and I haven’t received them. Enquires to the company just generate generic replies.
I won’t ever purchase from Zavvi again, there are a plethora of online companies that actually deliver, and on time.
