Easy, fast & efficient

Ordering was very easy and the product was excellent. It was delivered very quickly.
The only thing that I can gripe about us that the carrier gave no prior notice as to delivery arrangements.... It was luck we were home.

Great customer service during a not-so-Zen experience

I ordered a mattress on September 11, to be shipped to Canada. On October 2 I received an email with a tracking number. As I was assured my expected delivery date would be posted on the shipping website, I checked diligently every day. I'm not home during the days so had to arrange for someone else to be there to receive my mattress, or I was told it would be sent back at a cost to me.

Nothing updated on the website--I never got pas the "processing" stage of my order.

I began a very frustrating back and forth between Zen and the shipping company. On October 16, I received an email from Zen saying that there was a delay at the border, and the item would be "on its way to me by Tuesday, October 22 (end of day)." There wasn't any further communication, and come Tuesday, still no information on the shipper's page. Still just "processing."

I finally called Home Direct on Tuesday (October 22), and they told me that Zen did not provide the customs papers for the mattress to be able to leave the U.S. and cross into Canada. I then got an email from Zen today, stating that my mattress would continue to be delayed at the border until the end of the week.

I'm pretty frustrated with this whole situation. I move at the beginning of November, and I will likely not have a bed. I feel that I have been more than patient. My frustration comes mostly from the fact that, between the two companies, no one was able to give me a straight answer for a while, and I didn't know who to contact. There is no direct phone number for Zen, which was also frustrating, because I had to wait for an email each time, across time zones. I feel that communication could have been faster via telephone.

Through all of this, the customer service rep, Kornelia, who replied to my emails was very friendly and as helpful as possible, but she can only rectify so much.

All-in-all, I really hope this mattress will be worth all of this hassle, and I also hope I won't have to be without a bed for too long. If I didn't think it would cause a million more problems and delays, I'd probably try to cancel my order at this point.

Amazingly good.

When I first received the mattress I was slightly alarmed as it came in a 4 9" box rolled up. But once it opened an puffed up its fantastic. No spring noises it's a slightly firm mattress. Sharing the bed is great their movements doesn't effect your sleep.

Great Condition, but not the best bed bed.

First off, I have not had any problems with the company and the rating is for the company. They took my Groupon for a King size bed and delivered it in around a month. The bed itself has a lot to be desired in my opinion. It is comfy when you press down on it, but laying down, I did have back aches for the first couple of days (don't anymore). I think I just need to break it in, which is fine, but still kind of sucks. I've had it for around a month right now.

Had a smell for around a week, but it wasn't that strong and I ended up sleeping on it the first night anyways. Shipping and packaging of the item was pretty awesome and easy to deal with.

The best sleep I've had in years

Ordered the memory foam mattress, because I was really unhappy with my worn down old spring mattress. I got it fast, been enjoying it for the last month and the only complaint I have is that I don't want to get up in the mornings, since it's way too comfortable. I was so happy, I immediately ordered goose dawn pillows and duvets, they are amazing as well. Whole heartedly recommend!

Great mattress, but....

When my king-size mattress came in such a small cardboard box, I was skeptical about the quality of the product. But once it was out of the box and absorbed air, I quickly found out it's a very good, comfortable mattress. I ordered the mattress for my husband who was being treated for a cancer and didn't like the one we had. Unfortunately it arrived a few days after he passed away. I am so sorry that he didn't get to experience it. Another hard thing about this product is that the company didn't offer to pick up the old one in exchange. I had a very hard time finding someone who would take the old mattress, which was still perfectly fine.

Rubbish

This is the worst mattress I've ever bought not had a good nights sleep since brought it.
Wake up every morning with lower back pain.had a cheaper memory foam before this one and had no problems with it..
