The mattress is really great as the other reviews say, we love it. The delivery was a bit tricky though, the Fedex just left it on our porch which I know most people don’t mind but it was a bit annoyi... See more

Great mattress. I’ve had memory foam mattresses before and have always like them but this one feels like an advancement on my other ones. Recommended!

Whatever you do...stay away!

I bought a king size "8 in. mattress" through Living Social from Zen Bedrooms earlier this year for #350. It arrived on time, but, once I opened it, all I had was 2 inches of foam that I could have quickly picked up from Walmart for about $40!! They don't even deserve the star that I had to give them! Customer service?!?!? You mean...silence! Save your money...buy from someone reputable!!

Hi B May,
We apologies for the late response here. It sounds like you didn't open your mattress, as we vacuum pack our mattresses and so they are crushed to about 2 inches thick. Once you open the packaging, the mattress expands to full height. In any case please contact george@zenbedrooms.com and we will work to get this situation resolved for you.

Frustrating

I've ordered 2 mattresses from zen in Ireland. The money was taken from my card straight away. Now my emails of Facebook messaging are not being replied too. I'd like to find out were the mattresses are? Please

**I forgot i ordered these. I gave up on waiting for them and I don't think I ever got them. I obviously just had a very bad experience.

Superb customer service!

Our original mattress that was shipped to us was a dud; however the folks at Zen, specifically customer service rep, Julie, treated us magnificently. We have received our mattress and are completely satisfied.

Great product and quick shipping. no problems no hassle.

I bought this for my partner who has severe pain in and around her shoulders and neck. She has tried several pillows in the past, memory foam, buckwheat and has gotten some relief for a few days and then the pain is back. I got her this pillow and she has been using it solidly for months now.
Thank you for helping her pain subside!

Great Business

I recently bought 2 of the bamboo memory foam pillows. They were wonderful. The company offered fast shipping and great communication. I recommend them highly.

Great products!

Bought an AMAZING memory foam mattress from Zen, super comfy and has really improved my sleep quality/pain in my neck. Very happy with the company and went back and bought some sheets and pillows, the pillows were amazing and the sheets seem good quality too!

super comfy pillows

I've been having a problem with a stiff neck and finding a pillow that was comfortable. I ordered the bamboo pillow sight unseen and have been delighted by how wonderfully comfortable it is. It has really helped my neck issues and now my husband wants one, too!

Terrible Company With No Follow Through

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. These guys are useless. I ordered 2 pillows with covers over 2 months ago. I have been emailing them for the last 3 weeks trying to figure out what is going on. I have been getting nothing but "canned" answers that keep promising me that the product will be sent out in a few days. Three weeks later and I have made no headway. This company is useless and should not even be in business. DO NO BUY FROM THEM. You will never get your products and you will spend your time doing their job.

Great Product, Excellent Customer Service

I got a deal on a luxury memory foam mattress online and was excited to use it. When I received it, it rose slowly and unevenly -- taking about a week before it was usable-- and didn't get up to the promised 8 inches. In spite of that, I tried the mattress out and slept like a baby on it...one of the best night's sleep ever. Still, I sent Zen Bedrooms photos of my mattress and showed the height on a ruler. They promptly emailed back, said it was unacceptable and that they had switched warehouses (and that older mattresses got mixed in), and gave me a free upgrade.
We ended up getting the cool gel memory foam mattress. OMG I slept amazingly on it...I slept 12 hours straight. It was the best night's sleep I've ever had.
My point is, there will always be a defunct product here and there. Their "defunct" wasn't even bad. I slept great. But their customer service? Outstanding. And I couldn't love my new mattress more. Worth it.

Selling cheap useless product

Ordered bamboo pillows from them, the product that came is such a poor quality like I bought it from a dollar store, lumpy, uncomfortable, and... Non returnable since I already opened it.

Update: the company contacted me and replaced and refunded the price

RUN !!!! Do Not Buy !!!!

Its not possible to give this review zero stars because thats what this company mattress deserves. the mattress never fully expanded from its vacuum state that it is delivered in and you cannot return it because the shipping cost is higher than the product purchase price.
I bought it on living social and I think living social needs to do a better job protecting its customers from this type of scams !!!!!!
they need to tell people in bold letters there is no possible return of item!!!!

MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD

I purchased a Luxury Memory Foam Mattress from Zen Bedrooms almost 3 months ago. When the bed arrived I took it out of the box and let it expand for 3 days (Zen Bedrooms states it only needs 2 days). After 3 days of "expanding" the bed was still so hard on the left side it is nowhere close to feeling like a mattress, and the right side is soft to the point that you start rolling/falling off to the right when you lay on it. I went to their website online to find a customer service phone number, but as you can see for yourself they do not provide one (this should have been a red flag in the beginning because I now know why they don't provide one). Therefore, I used their message page on the website to explain the problem and asked for a return. It has now been almost 3 months and I am still emailing Zen Bedrooms back and forth begging for a return since my fiancee and I are now having extreme back aches from this hard/soft foam mess they call a bed. We can not afford to buy a new mattress until we are refunded for this one, which I have told Zen Bedrooms. They are clearly only about the money the company makes since they refuse to accept a return from an extremely unhappy customer. They have been beating around the bush for three months, not caring that they have caused two of their customers a severe amount of back pain.
DO NOT BUY A BED FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY NOT ONLY MAKE THE WORST MATTRESS I HAVE EVER LAYED ON, BUT THE HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HEARD OF.

Mattress doesn't seem to fully expand.

I was amazed at the level of compression they achieved on the queen size mattress I ordered in order to ship it. No way you can return it. No way, also, was this ever meant to sell for $1600 which is the stated retail price (I got it through Groupon). It initially opened flat like a piece of cardboard and also did not de-compress to 8 inches. It is 6 inches in some places, about 4 in others, STILL Tempurpedic would charge $3K for the same thing and Bob's would charge $800, so in the world of mattresses $400 for a queen size memory foam mattress isn't a total rip off. Maybe it will continue to decompress over time. I wouldn't buy it as your main mattress though...too thin.

Great Price Great Sleep

I used a groupon deal and bought a queen memory foam mattress. Seriously - great quality, great sleep, no complaints. If you do not want to be sucked into the mattress industry and do not desire dropping 1000s on a mattress then go with this brand. Without hesitation, we are buying another mattress in King for our new bedroom.

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS CROWD! UNPROFESSIONAL & UNTRUSTWORTHY

I bought a mattress off Groupon last week and it never really expanded fully and it's not comfortable at all. I was speaking to customer services via email to explain I wanted to return it and she said I was liable for the delivery charges back to the UK (I live in Ireland), the delivery back was over half the price of the mattress.

Their website link from the promotional site was a .ie website so automatically I assumed it was an Irish company and any returns would not cost me much. They don't display their whereabouts on the web either so you're left in a catch 22 situation.

When I tried to explain that the mattress did not expand to its advertised height they asked for pictures which I provided on Sunday and Monday as I hadn't got a reply. Emailed them twice more today and still no reply. 5 emails in total in the past 3 days and not one reply.

They have a 7 day return policy so they are obviously not getting back to me because by the time I send it back, the refund policy states it must be returned within' a week. Taking advantage of my location basically.

Really frustrated at the minute and never experienced anything like this before, the sheer audacity of them is mind blowing.

DO NOT BUY FROM ZEN BEDROOMS!

frustrating at first but good response from company

We purchased the king size mattress and although it was delivered promptly, the memory foam never completely expanded. It is compressed completely about one foot on each side of the mattress and lumpy. We sent an e-mail through their website form and were asked for pictures, which we sent. After hearing nothing for a week, they notified us that they would send a new mattress. The new and better quality mattress arrived this last week, has fully expanded and seems great. There has been no mention of returning the defective one, although I'm not sure what we'll do with it.

Unbelievably comfortable mattress, very fast delivery

I purchased a memory foam mattress with the celliant cover and can confirm that this is an excellent product and I would fully recommend it to anyone looking for a good night sleep. The delivery was also very fast and I received first class customer service. You can't go wrong with Zen Bedrooms. Thanks

Absolutely shady business

The customer services rep tried to compensate me $100 for the bad experience and so that I can update the review online. After they give you the cash they ask you to remove your review. Here are some helpful suggestions you can use to improve your business. Everytime I see them on Groupon or LivingSocial I get so angry because of the experience I have had with them and know that others have had with them, but they are able to remove those bad reviews with bribes.
1. If you say something, as in set date deadlines, follow through with them. (they promise you that they would contact you in 4 weeks after order date since the Living Social had backed up their "systems"). Then after the 4 weeks, they twll you they would contact you within the week for the order number. None of those things happened and I had to email three times atleast. My wait was slated for another month just in correspondence. (PS. their customer service is in the UK but now they just have an "e-mail" option to contact them (SHADY!!!)) which brings me to my next suggestion:

2. Avail yourself to your customers. Your customer service line is a hotline in the UK. Now, instead of letting people contact you you have them email you. Well obviously that doesn't work. What kind of retail business doesn't have a phone number? Obviously if you have customers in the US which I know you guys have availed yourself to do as well as the fact that you guys are INCORPORATED in the US, then provide an easier way to contact a customer service representative. Your american customers are NOT going to pay for international calls JUST to call you. Doing otherwise is suspect.

3. All of your customer service reviews other than trust pilot (Facebook fan page, twitter feed) only solicit positive reviews and give no room for honest feedback. That is also highly suspect and only after further searching did I find other fellow angry customers.

4. If you are going to put yourselves out there to living social, groupon, other avenues of marketing where you predict a high production and shipping feed, only do so if you have the capacity to do so. Those deals expire before a certain date and you only have a limited time to redeem them so YOU should be aware of the high production. Hire more people to help with this if you have to because the overall cost of a bad name to your business is higher than the operation costs of hiring temporary workers.

5. The only reason why I feel like you guys responded to me is because I told you guys I was an aspiring lawyer. This is true information but I think the whole transaction was highly suspect and you should respond to all your customers, not unless there's a threat of a lawsuit.

SERIOUSLY, I HOPE NO ONE WILL EVER BE TRICKED INTO THIS AGAIN.

Please don't get this.

I ordered it through groupon and got it after two months. The mattress arrived in a cardboard box similar to golf club shipping box. When opened, the mattress was packaged rolled, like a papertowel. Unpacked, and the massive chemical smell filled the room immediately-lasted for more than a week. Go to their website. You'll know it's impossible to reach them. I had to threw it away after a week because of the smell and mattress being too soft.
Bottom line is, if u r thinking temperpedic, this is far far from it. I have my share of horrible internet purchases, but this tops it.
