Everything good but Annoying confirmation
Everything was good for me as a Swiss customer. Delivery within 10 days, no customs and I even got a personal message from one of the employees there that said my t-shirt was a nice choice ;) The only thing I disliked is that when I ordered I had to manually confirm my order by responding to an E-mail with the correct billing adress that is on file with my bank ones. I never experienced such a thing in my entire online shopping career and it's quite annoying and I don't understand the purpose of it. EDIT: I have to add that they suddenly released my order when I gave the info.
Can't recommend Zumiez to EU customers
We placed an order for about 480usd and Upon delivery we were asked to pay an additional 260€ (about 310usd) including an extra fee to be paid to DHL. Independently from the fact that clothes are of good quality etc, it is not worth buying from Zumiez from the EU as you will be seriously penalised. When they shipped the items they said that to avoid having me to pay more taxes they were gathering all items and send the (possibly) separately, little did I know that I would have regretted buying from Zumiez so quickly. They also told me that if I refused to collect the parcel from DHL they would have not refunded me as DHL would have not sent the parcel back to them... If you live in Europe my advice is to spend as little as possible here and buy from actual EU based shops so you will not be screwed like this. Personally I think I'm done with with Zumiez as I can find similar items here in Europe at a significant lower price

The Zumiez shop in the bluegrass outlet and Shelbyville Kentucky is very unprofessional The manager was allowing other employees from another store in there arguing and she was sitting on a ladder watching why the other employer was doing everything else she allowed this to go on until we said something about it and she started getting rude and then we started getting rude and she was thrown the F bomb out there it says she can talk like that in her store because her manager didn’t give a F I think she was the shift manager at the time we was in there

My experience was terrible I had gone through the trouble of inconvenience traveling searching all stores fir a specific set of glasses, end results in searching and ordering online, now the specific glasses I wanted i ordered and added one day shipment which was an additional $30 the shipment took 5 days to arrive which maid that extra payment completely pointless and on top of that!!!! They sent the wrong damn glasses gave the correct description on all packaging until it got to the actual product!! Then customer service wasn’t going to do anything but refund the shipment fee, then I asked well should I not get some kind of credit or something to purchase the ones I actually want and they decided to give me ((((($5))))))) OFF!! Gift card when I’ve spent HUNDREDS of dollars it was pretty pathetic to me and poor customer service

Don't order an e-card on the weekend…
Don't order an e-card on the weekend from Zumiez! I ordered an electronic gift card for my son (it was his big present for his birthday). It was a Saturday, and the card never arrived. SO disappointed! There is no customer service available on the weekend, so I had to wait until 9:00 EST on Monday to call them. I spoke to a CSR who jabbered non-stop and kept going off on tangents and wouldn't listen. She is now tracking the e-card, which may take all day. She says we may have to cancel it because they cannot resend them. BE AWARE! If you're ordering an e-gift card on the weekend, your recipient may not get it for days; and you will not even know they didn't get it. The CSR's explanation is that they hand verify every purchase. The point of an e-card is that it should be available quickly. At the very least, they should post this information on the website so that you can make an informed choice. I wouldn't have ordered this if I'd have known it wouldn't arrive quickly.
Pismo beach
Although the store located in Pismo Beach is (for once) starting to look clean and organized.. the customer service has taken a nose dive. What used to be such a chill and comfortable environment with helpful and happy staff now just feels snobby and has a “holier than though” vibe. Wasn’t greeted or assisted when looking for sizes. And when I did approach who I assume to be the store manager.. it felt as though I was inconveniencing him. Won’t be going to that location again.

I was very reluctant about buying on Zumiez given all the negatives reviews of other customers, but I had a positive experience with them. The item arrived within 4 days, I chose international shipping and they were quickly to respond by email. Please READ the faq!

Tonight I had a great experience shopping in the Zumiez in waterbury Connecticut Mall. The staff was very knowledgeable of products they had in stock and had me checked out swiftly.
Ripped after day one
Bought a shoe from Zumiez which cost me 120$ when it arrived to my country I paid an unexpected 50 euro for tax on top of a previous added bill.
One day into skating my shoes, it started to rip significantly, for a pair of skate shoes this is outrageous especially after paying the amount of money I did for the shoes.
If you ask me I would 100% recommend you to look in a different store, although it might be more expensive you will get your moneys worth unlike Zumiez

We made my sons first customized skateboard 4/10/21, at the Williamsburg store. The young lady that waited on us showed us everything that we needed to customize it. We picked out everything, its truly, a one of a kind skateboard. He loves his wolf skateboard. Thank you so much.

Data breach
As others have said, there was a data breach. By the time the letter was sent the damage was done. Such a hassle and sent me into a panic for weeks. Still trying to defraud myself. Have to change banks and all my cards. I want some accountability here but I doubt I'll get it.
FRAUD: Stole my credit card information, do not buy from here!
Ordered something from here in late 2020, the order went through but I later got an email saying the item was 'out of stock'. Minor annoyance, money was refunded. Didn't think anything of it. But, MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WAS STOLEN during this transaction. Such a horrible experience; I got my address, identity and $1000 stolen from my bank account. Had to go through lots of stress and hassle to get everything back from the fraud department at my bank and get all my cards changed, for no reason. I didn't even get my items in the first place. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. They later sent a letter to my address letting me know they had a data breach, but taking no accountability and neither being remorseful for the amount of distress and inconvenience caused to the customer by this situation. Don't shop on the Zumiez site!!
Credit card fraud
Just received a letter advising my credit card information was stolen from their site, as there was malware coding installed on their end. My card was breached. Final parting words, 'sorry for the inconvenience' Of fraud and identity theft!? To say the letter was aloof is an understatement.
