Davids order was delayed, so we replaced it for him. During the Christmas holidays while we were closed. We officially open today. So he would have heard from us today.

Ordering process was easy

Ordering process was easy. Goods were dispatched and delivered quickly…. Unfortunately due to sizing had to be returned. But the returns process was easy, instructions well set out on website and an email received confirming they had received my return. Refunded without issue.

Very rude service and doesn’t seem to understand the customer distance selling rights. I had to get my money back via my credit card company.

Buying from this company is a lottery. AVOID !!

Buying from this company is a lottery. Some of the reviews are good. Some are bad. My experience is the worst I have ever had when purchasing online. Drew Wylie is the rudest, most unprofessional, unbusinesslike person I have ever dealt with as a customer. He did not hold stock of the item I purchased but ordered it after I had bought and paid for it to forward on to me. Why advertise something you don’t stock?. He then sent me the wrong size which he disputed saying he personally packaged it. I reordered the item as I needed it urgently for my husbands birthday on the Sunday. I asked for a refund on the original and if he could post the newly ordered one Next Day Delivery. This was on the Thursday he advised me he wouldn’t be back at the business until the Tuesday !!! He eventually refunded me for the incorrect size but never posted the reordered item. I chased it for almost three weeks. He told me he would refund me. No apology that he couldn’t supply the goods he advertised. He did not refund me. I had to ask PayPal to step in and they refunded my £200. Drew Wyllies response to my last email was

“ I've been in this game for decades, nothing you say or do is going to stop me being in business for another 20 years

Go f*** yourself “. The arrogance of the man !

Buy from this company at your Peril. I have all of the emails to back up my review. No doubt he will respond with a lengthy reply as he does with all of his negative reviews . My evidence speaks for itself.

Update :- As expected, lies from start to finish as anyone else who leaves a negative review have confirmed in their responses. My husbands birthday is 12th November. Ordering on the 1st is not forgetting !

As we often have to do here are the facts...

This customer forgot her husbands birthday and bought a gift at the last minute. She ordered a size S, size S is on her original invoice. She was not sent the wrong item. The item was dispatched and arrived on time.

We are closed over the weekends, so she didnt get a responce to her emails during this time. Our website, our email auto responce, and our phone answering machine make this clear. She expected us to open and dispatch this original item and our courier who does not deliver over the weekend to make an exception for her.

In each of her corrospondence she was an ubnoxisious, self entitled brat. She blamed us for her ordering the wrong size and not dispatching a second item in a different size while we were closed.

Her item was a £200 item. We restocked the item on the Monday, we are based 7 miles from keela, so we will offer particular high value items in sizes that don't sell very often items we don't hold because we know we can still have it collected and dispatched within the dispatch time displayed on the website.

She ordered a second, size 2xl on this occasion I knew there would be nothing but problems and her attitude with her first order I chose not to order a second £200 item in a different size to sit on her return for a year. At a loss of £400 on top of this she expected me to open to make an exception for her.

After her original item arrived, it was inspected and refunded. Her second refund didnt go through on the first attempt. She opened a case immediately. I took reasonable time to firstly troubleshoot the issue, contacted PayPal and got the issue resolved and issued her second refund.

By this time I had my fill of her. Her last message was so out of order I just lost it with her.

Shopping with us is not a lottery, we get a few negative reviews a year, many of them from people that feel they are exempt from the laws of purchasing a bladed tool and choose to behave in the same manner as this person, this kind of person often will complain, accept no responsibility for thier own behaviour and then leave negative reviews. We accept that is the price we pay on occasion.

If she had, been a little nicer, and conducted herself in a better way, accepted she left it too late, and made an error she would have had a better experience and I would have made the effort to be more accommodating for her.

It really is as simple as that.

As expected, this customer edited thier review after our responce...as people like this often do. They have to be right. Regardless of the facts. Often bending facts to suit thier point for review purposes.

I chose not to open the store to accommodate you. Because of your behaviour. its clear what days we are open and closed before you place an order. Our website states clearly our shipping and dispatch times.
We adhered to exactly what our website informs prior to any purchase. We have responded to all corrospondence withing working hours as also stated on our website.

96% of our reviews mention good quality customer service, the lengths we go to (at our own exspence) to test and use our products so we have first hand experience, no matter how large our company grows our owner has always been the sole point of contact for all our customers. If there is an issue with postage, questions about an item, a swap the owner deals with them personally.

As the owner, I reiterate...
If you had behaved differently you would have had a better experience. Like the other 96% of positive reviewers.

No matter how many revisions you write that fact will remain.
Readers of reviews can see a clear pattern in the minority of negative reviews...
if you or anyone chooses to behave in such a manner you will get an appropriate and equally proportioned responce. If you don't like that responce, perhaps the answer is adjusting your own attitude rather than complaining about our responce to you.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service - no updates on order at all, still haven't received it after over a week. Don't even know if it's been sent - have asked for refund if it hasn't.

Ian was sent 2 emails, one within an hour of his order and another a couple if days later. we normally wait a week for a responce and will contact by phone. Ian was scheduled for a phone call this afternoon. (The same day he left this review) After seeing his review we immediately refunded him.

The product is good

The product is good. But there was some confusion over the courier's messaging - had it been dropped off at a collection point or was it still to be delivered? Not possible to get an answer from the courier but the trader was responsive and delivery eventually completed.

Bad service

I've ordered an expensive hammock. Paid the order. Got a confirmation, that it would arrive 26-28 of Sep. The order has not arrived. I was not informed and I didn't get any answers to the chat on the webpage or via email. The phone number I found did not work. (There was apparently another number that did work).
My girlfriend was supposed to bring it back to my home country where I can't order directly and it's more expensive. Since I didn't get any information from Wylies, I did not order elsewhere. My girlfriend managed to find the personal number and they've told her that they're out of stock and would have it next week. However, her flight back was a few days later. Not giving me enough time to order elsewhere. Very dispointed as this was supposed to be a present..
