Not impressed by customer service

Not impressed by customer service. They would take the last penny of you. Over charged for nothing.let down by the company I held in high regard.

What Robert doesn't state is he ordered an age verification item. He refused to provide id. He wasn't happy because he didn't get his item after asking us to break the law.

If you dont want to provide id then don't purchase an age verified item. Read the info on the product page.

Its the law. We won't break it for you because you can't be bothered reading the info we provide before during and after your purchase.

If you had read the info on knife sales on the product page, and completed the age verification process which is a legal regiment you may have had a better experience.

Several people a week purchase a bladed tool without reading the warnings and then complain about our service when we refuse to break the law for them

we do exactly what the law requires us to do as a registered knife dealer and what the info on the product page tells you we will do if you fail the age verification process.

Thats not bad service. If you had read the info, followed the easy to understand instructions your order would have been dispatched the following day.

You are responsible for your own experience in this case.

Super helpful and friendly

Really helpful when the item I wanted was out of stock. Went the extra mile to ensure I wasn’t disappointed. Will definitely use Wylies again based off of this experience.

Happy to Recommend!

I bought a few bits of outdoor gear from Wylie's and was very impressed with the service.

The items were reasonably priced, the website easy to navigate, plenty of choice product wise and the delivery was prompt.

Really impressed and would have no hesitation in using again.

Super fast delivery, helpful supplier

Delivered super fast! Very responsive supplier. Last time I ordered from them was during the pandemic when stock was hard to get hold of and I had lots of communication from the supplier suggesting alternatives. Really helpful.

another customer that refused to read the info provided right above the buy button. AGE VERIFICATION IS THE LAW! if you had read the info in the big red box that says...

"AGE VERIFICATION REQUIRED!

By purchasing this item you confirm you are over 18 years of age and agree to complete the age verification process after purchase. We have a dedicated page to help you with this. HOW TO SUBMIT"

you would have got your order the following day.

I quote also from the info on that page...

"Its unfortunate that this section is necessary, but it is. Once a day, everyday of the week there is someone that believes the laws, and regulations do not apply to them, they are somehow entitled to an exception, or they do not have to follow the steps we require to complete age verification.

Let us save you the time. You are not! Please do not ask us to break the law or amend the age verification process for you. No exceptions will be made.

Do it once, do it right, get your order out to you that night!"

If you choose to ignore all the info, the warnings, and our follow-up emails please don't blame our customer service.

Awful customer service. AVOID
Incredibly rude. If he does not receive your age verification email he will just keep your money, not send the item and not contact you.

Steven purchased an axe from us and willfully decided to ignore all warnings and info provided by us before, during and after his purchase stating that the item requires him to complete the age verification process by law before the order can be dispatched. A week later he emails us complaining about our customer service...

The facts are simple, if he had completed the age verification check his order would have arrived next day. Now he will have to wait till we reopen in January, because he missed our last shipping date.

There are no exceptions when it comes to age verification orders. This customer is solely responsible for the delay of his own order.

We will not break the law for you, no matter how many negative reviews you leave. A negative review for upholding the law and maintaining our integrity is preferable to an unlimited fine, loosing our knife dealers licence, and a custodial sentence for myself.
