Sadly not worth renewing contract for…
Sadly not worth renewing contract for business phone with. I spent over half an hour 2 days ago on their chat (which was quite abrupt at best), trying to get a quote for renewal. I still haven’t got a quote. I’ve had quotes from competitors that are over £200/year cheaper.
I’ve just tried to contact them via chat again and their helpline is open 9-4:30 making it impossible to contact them if you’re trying to run a business!
I’m fed up with paying over the odds and getting rubbish customer service.
UPDATE: A week later and in spite of their reply to this review I have still not received a quote to continue my business with them!

Punitive profiteering
I started my café 18 months ago, and over that time, we've worked with many service providers—waste collection, POS systems, broadband, landline, and more. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we now have to close the business.
When I reached out to most of our service providers to terminate contracts, I was met with understanding and support—no termination fees, just empathy and professionalism.
However, my experience with XLN has been very different. Despite having only six months left on our broadband and landline contract (typically £35/month), I’ve been told I must pay over £500 to terminate early. As a small business owner closing down due to unavoidable reasons, this feels more like punitive profiteering than business support.
I truly hope XLN can reconsider this policy. It’s disappointing when loyalty and good faith are met with inflexibility, especially in difficult times. I’m sharing this post in the hope that someone at XLN sees it and helps resolve the situation fairly.

Your fixed price contract means nothing with XLN
I have a fixed price contract for 12 months, but OneBill/XLN have just increased it by 44% stating rising costs - quite clearly obscene & unrepresentative of cost increases to them. Last month they added service costs I hadn't requested & I had to battle to get them removed. BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY!

Order Placed Without Authorisation
A terrible experience with XLN.
I received a text message stating that a router was being sent out, despite the fact that I have never spoken to anyone from XLN or agreed to any new services. When I contacted BT (who we signed up with in December), they informed me that an order had been placed on our account — without any confirmation or authorisation from us.
This is very concerning. Placing orders on a customer’s account without clear consent is unacceptable.
I expect this matter to be resolved immediately, and the order to be cancelled.
I hope XLN takes this seriously and reviews its internal processes to prevent this from happening to others.

Absolutely terrible experience with XLN…
Absolutely terrible experience with XLN and Daisy Communications.
I was charged £124.80 before my contract had even started. When I signed up, I was clearly told that the engineer appointment would be free, yet I was later billed for it anyway. This feels completely misleading.
When I called to question the charge, I was met with unhelpful responses and constant excuses instead of clear answers. It felt like they were more interested in defending the charge than resolving the issue. The customer service experience was frustrating and disappointing.
In the end, I’ve paid cancellation fees just to get away from them, which says everything about how poor my experience has been.
If you’re a business considering signing up, please be cautious and double-check everything in writing before agreeing to anything. My experience has been costly and stressful, and I would not recommend them.

Staggering incompetence …
We are moving office and booked in the date for the engineer to install in the new office approx a month ago.
XLN staff apparently didn’t add the job to the right queue and now we’ve no booking and they’re saying they can’t install to well after our move.
They don’t seem able to fix it. Staggering incompetence
I would like to add that 5 days after replying to this message they have still not got back to the complaint.
The call centre have said it's out of their control as open reach do the installations (BT), then we were told that open reach said no line to this building (we know there is as we had BT internet in it before), and now they've said we're in open reach DBE status and they can't update us for another 4 days.
The circus is calling and wants its clowns back

I agreed to a tariff which was £26.95 a year later I realised they were taking £77.77 a month instead. I have a few loans and wasn’t sure what this payment was. When I rang them they said the tariff I agreed to couldn’t be used in my area but didn’t think to tell me or ask me or even notify me through post or email. They said they tried to ring me. lol I also have learning difficulties so my case worker who helps me with forms etc has taken over this matter. I’m waiting to hear if I can have a refund of the difference if not we are taking this all the way. This company is absolutely disgusting

Stay away! Price you see on their advert price you will never pay
Contract signed for £28+vat on July 25, but they started collecting £47 without information, when noticed, called them, I got a few credit notes sent, but they continue to collect £47 even though they issued credit notes twice, the direct debit never go down to the agreed amount. January 26 they sent email saying prices going up again by £12+vat, at least this time they informed (thanks for that) me. So I took the service away to a different provider. I wish I could share a picture showing their translations for everyone to see . Stay away! Price you see on their advert price you will never pay

Ripped ofg
I joined on a two-year contract after being clearly told the price would be fixed for the full term. Just three months later, I received an email saying an extra £5.15 line surcharge would be added — something that was never mentioned when I signed up.
Being promised a fixed price and then having additional charges introduced feels misleading and very frustrating. As a business customer, I expected transparency. This experience has left me feeling ripped off.

I can’t believe a company can be this bad
I can’t believe a company this bad can have any 5 star reviews; very suspicious !
And after the ITV programme on reviews I now understand that fake reviews are predominant.
We had calls from XLN many months ago. They were claiming speeds that Openreach said were totally impossible. Even after explaining Openreach opinion they persisted in claiming such speeds, so I decided I could not trust them.
Recently we received cold calls from Daisy claiming they were a separate company, now staffed by Brits. They offered me 3 months free if I signed up. They insist you are a business customer so you don’t have a 14 day cooling off period. There was no immediate confirmation of essential contract details, which is wrong. (They put that right about a week later.)
We got poor WiFi from the start and it totally disappeared in the evenings. They arranged for Openreach to visit. I waited in but nobody came.
Imagine my horror when they told me I was not with Daisy but XLN ! So we have two separate companies marketing under the same name, but they insist that contractually they are different !
Whilst Daisy is based in UK, XLN is based in India (Draw your own conclusions !)
After several legal letters they agreed I had been miss-sold and allowed me to leave. If you consider signing up, be careful about which company you are dealing with. Whichever one, expect bad customer service, and appalling speeds and possible no Wi-Fi at all in the evenings !
Finally checking my bank statement I found they were still taking Direct Debits, despite offering 3 months free. So cancel your DD when you leave,

Assistance with fibre optic changeover, Conservation Area planning application information
The call handler Majida, she was very helpful, and provided me with assurances that she would help me today to the best of her ability. She was extremely helpful today and going forward, once I explained the assistance I needed.
