Admittedly, I was a bit scared ordering a tree online... but man was I wrong! Our blood orange tree arrived in great condition. The packaging they used kept the tree in great shape and it had no issues at the time of transplanting. We ordered a 3'-4' tall tree.... it for sure looked to be closer to the 4' size which was a plus. All and all, I would for sure recommend Yarden and use their site in the future.

Pro: The tree arrived in outstanding condition; packaging was very good. Price was reasonable with a good selection of sizes, etc.
Con: I never received a confirmation of the sale nor a notice that it had been shipped leaving me to wonder if there was some kind of miscommunication. I was able to verify that the payment was accepted. The only way I knew the item was on the way was a FEDEX delivery notification. Otherwise, I would have rated 5 stars.

The plant arrived in excellent condition, but communication from Yarden was very poor. I placed my order before Christmas and received vague updates about the shipping timeline. I was told via email (they do not offer phone support) that I would receive a shipping notification by 12/31 and delivery by 1/5. Neither date was met—12/31 passed with no shipping notice, and 1/5 passed with no delivery.
After disputing the charge with my credit card company, the plant was finally shipped. While the product itself was great, the lack of communication and absence of a customer service phone number made the experience frustrating. If Yarden improved their customer support and communication, it would greatly enhance the customer experience.
If you don’t mind limited communication and have a flexible timeline of almost a month to receive your plant, Yarden may be a good option.

Yarden's website is easy to navigate and provides a lot of useful information. The healthy plant arrived sooner than expected and in excellent condition full of flowers, buds and even a baby lemon! The only thing that surprised me was that the tree tag did not identify it as a "Dwarf Improved Meyer Lemon", but only as "Meyer Lemon". Since there is evidence of grafting low on the trunk I'm hoping it's correct, but I would think the tree would be labeled with correct identification. Otherwise, this was a great experience, and I highly recommend Yarden.

Perhaps not your fault, but when the package arrived, it was badly damaged on top--never a good sign. The contents were still alive and looking pretty good, but a lot of the soil was out of the pot and one half of the plant had bare roots. I put things together as best I could, but the plant is struggling, particularly on the one side. Time will tell...

The lemon tree came in full and intact, one small branch was broken and that was it. It was a Christmas gift for my brother and sis-in-law and both were happy with it.

Terrible experience that’s not yet over. I ordered a plant and planter pot for a get well gift. I realized within a day that the plant wouldn’t look anything like the picture for years and would be more or less a plain stem with some leaves. I canceled through email and then twice through their website. I couldn’t find a phone #. I finally disputed the charge on my credit card and when I communicated that to them, they canceled the plant and said they would send the planter as a gift. That was not supposed to be delivered until week after Christmas. After I was told by credit card company to reject, it showed up right away. The person was not there to reject and opened as she didn’t know what it was. Now FedEx says she has to pay $50. to return something that should have cost me nothing and I have gotten no refund for a plant that will not be delivered and a planter that was supposed to be a gift. JUST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Plant came on time and that what exactly the perfect gift for my husband this Christmas . It arrived in good condition.
