As consumers, we are always looking for the best value and excellent customer service. I installed a digital lock with Yew Lock in 2024, 5/6/26 encountered an unexpected situation while I was away on holiday. My helper left the house without realizing that the lock’s battery had run out, leaving her locked outside the gate.
Being overseas, I was understandably worried and unsure of what to do. I reached out to Yew Lock’s customer service, and Ms. Jazelle promptly assisted me. She was patient, professional, and kind throughout the process, guiding me step by step and providing all the necessary information to resolve the issue.
Her exceptional service and willingness to help during a stressful situation were truly appreciated. Thank you, Ms. Jazelle, for your outstanding support and dedication. It made all the difference. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Highly not recommend . Make 2 appointment with them do not turn up . First appointment I waited 3 hours no show 2 nd appointment took half day leave to wait for them again no show call their hp no one pick up . WhatsApp them also no replied . No responsible seller I rather paid a bit higher look for a better service company

While I’m giving a 5-star rating here solely to raise visibility and awareness for other potential buyers, my true experience with Yew deserves a 1-star.

As a first-time digital door lock user, I was convinced by their Shopee Live presentation—particularly their promises on after-sales support. Unfortunately, the problems began immediately after the sale.
The sales representative who handled our purchase seemed inexperienced. She failed to advise us that digital locks should not be installed until after renovation work is fully completed. As a result, the installer came too early. He assured us that once renovation was done, we could video call their team for guidance on setting up the lock.

After moving in just a week later, I reached out to the same sales rep for help. She simply forwarded me a PDF manual and told me it was "very easy" to do on my own—then went completely silent. Despite me clearly saying I was facing difficulties even after reading the manual, she never followed up. If it was truly so simple, why not just schedule a quick call to walk me through?

I’m a parent to a toddler and I don’t expect special treatment—but complete silence is unacceptable. When she finally replied days later, her response was, “It was my rest day and I needed a break.” I’ll let you judge the professionalism of that reply.

Thankfully, Alex stepped in and arranged for a technician to come down and help me configure the system. I’m grateful to him. But let’s be real—the lock was left on its default password for several days, and I had a family and valuables in the home. Even in safe Singapore, that’s not acceptable.

Sadly, the issues didn’t end there. My interior designer (ID) needed the Certificate of Conformity (COC) to verify the lock’s fire safety compliance for HDB regulations. It has been over two months, and I still haven’t received the COC. I was even given a wrong email contact, which felt like a stalling tactic—the unintended recipient responded the next day and kinda “failed” their time delaying tactic.

Despite multiple follow-ups, there’s still no resolution. My ID continues to chase me for the COC to this day. I’ve since shared my experience with my ID, who now actively advises her clients to avoid this vendor.
In summary:

No one helps me with connection to the apps. A video was sent to me after I asked but it was of no help. I tried many many times, the door lock just could not link to my phone apps. And I needed to track who is coming into the office.

i purchase on 8/04/25 ,elite U2 and elite the bell, they arrange install on 10/04/25, only install elite u2 , forgot my elite the bell, n never inform me . The person incharge is Alex , when i contact him just told me no stock , need to wait . n tis period no ppl care me. until 8 of may i keep messge them. another guy reply me say alex resign he will follow up my case. but almost 2 week never arrange , i very dispointed them service is very terrible . I regreat to purchase tis n wont recommend tis YEW Digital lock to my friend.

Yew digital lock is one of the best lock companies I’ve came across so far, they installed my locks really fast and also come at affordable prices.

The lock was very sturdy and reliable! was not hard to use at all and i’m very satisfied with the experience.Definitely recommended to use.

I’d like to praise Kevin for finding the best digital lock for me that suits my requirements. I know the process was quite a tedious one but he did so without complaints. Would recommend to friends!
