I’ve enjoyed coffee from York Emporium for about a year now and enjoyed competitively prices decent coffee to use in my espresso machine. Ordering is straightforward and, although there’s a limited number of their blends that I enjoy, they are consistent and reliable. So why only 3 stars? The new website and lineup of products is poor and the promotions relentless. They’ve dropped my favourite blends and don’t seem to have replaced them with ones that interest me. The points earning system is difficult - I’ve been instructed to add codes to my ‘dashboard’, but can’t find this in the site. I’ve exchanged emails as to how to access this which resulted in my being sent a link; which didn’t work. All very frustrating. There was a promotion to receive a smalll bag of a new blend, which I added to my basket along with a regular item. In total this entitled me to free shipping (over £35). However I had to pay postage (£4.50) as it was a condition of receiving my ‘free’ coffee. This was ill thought out as a promotion and did not go down well with me.
I’ve been bombarded with emails in the past couple of weeks - 3 or more a day, to earn extra points, but as I’ve had trouble being able to take advantage of these, this has been more annoying than enjoyable.

Lovely Coffee, smooth , rich and beautifully packaged. Love the quirky designs on the packaging. Will be ordering again.

Can't get a fresher cup of coffee anywhere and i love the little notes on how the beans are processed. Australian skyberry has to be nicest coffee I've tasted.

I have been getting my coffee beans from York emporium for years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great taste and service. Delivery always quick and nicely packaged. I also bought my aeropress from them and use it daily for the best tasting coffee.

Great selection of whole beans and great delivery! Seems silly for us to order online as we live in York, but we rarely go to town so it’s nice to have the option for home delivery.

'Been' using York Emporium for a few years now after searching out a sympathetically produced decaffeinated coffee with a decent taste. I always buy the Swiss Water decaffeinated and to date - no one has ever queried the caffeine content. It is competitively priced - even when including the postage, the boxes it comes in are a useful size for bits and bobs so good all round. Not a fan of the new packaging style or material - as another reviewer has said - unable to reseal.

York Coffee Emporium is an easy company to do business with. Both their service and coffees are superb. Single source coffees are fantastic and their blends are second to none. This is my go-to source of coffee beans for my coffee machine.

I’ve been buying from York Emporium for three or four years. I’ve always had good coffee and friendly efficient service. I enjoy looking out for the more unusual coffees that appear.

Always fresh, a good selection for every occasion, wish I had discovered them earlier.

I go back again and again for my coffee. Great selection and wonderful flavours.
