These people are inhuman they need to be investigated seriously they are killing people and ruining lives

Ok so to write a review I had to tick 1 star. They deserve no stars been with them over 20 years lots of repair problems main one being rising damp. Always a loop hole for them to hide behind totally affected my mental health over the years. It's an absolute disgrace they get away with everything even ombudsman there's just now way of winning with them. Recently done a damp course in my home knowing I have chronic illness and left it so bad I'm devastated. I had recently decorated and was so house proud! They promised to put it back the way it was an disappeared when they done the damp course. Left me with no wallpaper or skirting boards, a chest infection and depression. Also didn't tell me till after the work was done that I can't rewallpaper for 12months. I've always reported it had a solicitor twice but they still manage to get away with murder. I've tried every single strategy but nothing works they will do anything to ignore and make there tenants look bad before fixing the problems. Also they allow there contractors to treat residents however they please this can be very intimidating for women alone at home, I know this because when a complaint is made nothing is ever done except for discrimination to the resident.

Your housing are lucky I gave them…

Your housing are lucky I gave them a star. We have been tenants for nearly 4 years now and in that Time we have been paying for gas heating and hot water, but 7 months ago my wife discovered that we are also paying for hot water via an electric water heater which runs away with the electric, my wife contacted them concerning the matter and they were in denial over the problem but my wife is like dog with a bone and she would not back down until your housing accepted there were errors on there part, they are now going to have to reimburse half the flats that were fitted with damn water heater and charge the other half that were not converted and still only had the gas to heat both water and heating, they have said they are not going to charge the latter now but are still charging us for paying twice until they can decide how much to reimburse us, they are now saying it could take a further 60 days as they have never come across this situation before but they have had nearly 5 months already to sort it out. Getting past from pillar to post comes to mind, absolute rubbish your housing

Fix 360 couldn't fix a cup of tea

If I could leave a minus number of stars I would. I've lived in my house for 4 years with nothing but trouble and aggrevation. Not just with Your housing group but also their contractors. They seem to be under the impression that I'm stupid with only a low double digit IQ,trust me when I say they are Very mistaken, they can't,won't or don't know their own tenancy agreement or even basics of the Landlords Act and Disability act. It's about time that these people were exposed for who and what they are.

Ignorant Bunch of Morons (Warrington Branch)

Upon reading on-line reviews, coupled my own experiences, it is evident that they are an inconsiderate collective of like-minded morons who do not give a toss about their tenants. I, personally, over the past several years have contacted these cretin’s numerous times regarding things from minor repairs to simple advice/clarification on matters and I was ignored on every account. I have even had to pay for repairs which I know are the responsibility of Your Housing Group as I’ve checked my tenancy agreement to confirm this.

Recently (June 2021), I decided to try my luck to see if I could get a response from them as I have a very large tree in my property that is causing numerous issues. Guess what? Yeah, you guessed correctly. I was ignored yet again!

Brief summary of my latest encounter:
• 25/06 21 – Telephoned Your Housing Group
regarding tree in question but could not get
through
• 25/06 21 – Online request to Your Housing Group
regarding tree. IGNORED!
• 30/06/21 – Email request to Your Housing Group
regarding tree. IGNORED!
• 02/07/21 – Email (follow-up) request to Your
Housing Group regarding tree. IGNORED!
• 06/07/21 – On-line complaint to Your Housing
Group regarding lack of correspondence etc.
IGNORED!
• 09/07/21 – Complaint about above via Resolver
platform – this too went IGNORED!
• 16/07/21 – Emailed Your Housing Group
expressing my disappointment with their
systematic practice of ignoring me – oddly
enough, this too went IGNORED!
• 21/07/21 – To my surprise I received an
unexpected email from YHGs very own Tree
Surveyor (Mr. John Cheetham). You could have
knocked me over with a feather!

Bearing in mind - although my details had been forwarded to a Tree Surveyor, I still have not received a direct response from YHG themselves.

The Tree Surveyor:
On 20/07/21 an appointment to survey the tree on 27/07/2021 was confirmed via email. However, the surveyor turned up, unannounced several days earlier and we almost missed him. While it made a refreshing change to actually be acknowledged by somebody from YHG, it soon became apparent that this guy was coached at the same “We Don’t Give a Toss” Collegiate of “Screw Customer Services” that the rest of YHG were ill-trained at.

He clearly didn’t want to be there, and his body language spoke volumes. He did not apologies for turning up on a different day than arranged and nor was there any pleasantries from him. At the very least he should have said something along the lines of: apologies for turning up unannounced Mr.? only I was in the area blah blah blah. There was nothing. In fact, I don’t think he even addressed me by my name.

To be frank, the guy was quite rude. He barely gave me eye contact and whilst I was attempting to engage with him, he was more interested in looking at his phone. Even when replying to me he was still looking at his phone. He was rude and ignorant!
Likewise, as I was trying to explain the issues that the tree was causing, he rudely interrupted me (whilst still looking at his phone) and highlighted that they are not legally obliged to do XYZ and that it would take a court order for them to do anything other than the bear minimum. Eventually he agreed to prune a few low-level branches and nothing more. Why he even bothered turning up is beyond me; I can reach the these branched myself. It is higher up the tree that’s causing the bulk of the issues. He just wasn’t interested.

One particular ironic aspect about YHG that made me laugh uncontrollably is their so-called customer service page, where anybody can leave feedback – good or bad.

Apparently… and I quote: “We are dedicated to consistently providing an excellent customer service.” REALLY!

Lastly, I would have given YHG minus 5 stars given the chance, but unfortunately, I had to award them one star to be able to post my review.

Enough said!

Its a nightmare when you need repairs…

Its a nightmare 😱when you need repairs doing. 😵I've been waiting over a year now for my pipe work to be rejoined. They use the repair company fix360 who used a pressure rodding to remove a blockage in my sink. It blew the pipes apart and also broke my washing machine. I have to keep ringing them and reporting the repairs online.🏃 I've had to make complaints and we are over a year down the line with them jobs not done. There was a leak from the flat above me that's damaged my ceiling, walls and flooring and I'm still having to remind them about them jobs. 😠I want some answers. Why they can't sort repair jobs out is beyond basic human comprehension. How much longer am I expected to wait. You've had well over a year. Its almost a year and a half now. Your well aware of my complaints & the list of jobs, so why am I still waiting ?😟😕

I have been a housing association Platform …

I have been a housing association tenant for 18 years. Platform took over my tenancy with Waterloo housing. Since then they are the worse housing group to contact. They take weeks to respond to any kind of repairs required. They are also a nightmare to contact on the phone. The portal for the email to contact them is a waste of time to.

Disgrace of a social housing group

Disgrace of a social housing group. My daughter moved in to one of their properties when she was 38weeks pregnant. You would not have let an animal move into it. Blood up the walls, used needles, old rusted radiators, doors hanging off. But after a lot of hard work we got it liveable and she has made it into a lovely home. This week though yet another problem. Water pouring from the boiler upstairs, soaking new flooring in lounge, ruined paintwork, soaked toys and furnishings. This happened on a Sunday. Numerous phonecslls to customer service agents who did not give a damn that she was sat with water pouring through ceiling, no heating or hot water and a baby under 1. Waited until Tuesday before anybody finally came. Could not fix it until Thursday. Supposed to have fixed it contractor leaves operation, put heating on and gues what no heating. Another phone call to report yet again she is now day 5 with no heating but yet again has to give 24 hours for someone to come out. Yet again tgey are not bothered that she has a baby and its freezing and still has no heating your housing and P H Jones contractors yiu are a disgrace

Inconsistent. Unreliable. Embarrassment.

Replacing all active smoke alarms with non smoking signs instead in their replace.
Fully well knowing being made aware time and time again that there are smokers smoking indoors and inside the “no smoking” areas / communal areas and grounds.

Don’t fix jobs efficiently always the cheapest solution.

Think it’s okay to provide bathrooms that aren’t waterproof , have no windows, temporary light fixtures and NO shower to be told after enquiring three times that, that is a bathroom suitable for 2021 standards up until 2033!

So glad that I am getting my new house in a few years. Your Housing your a disgrace, get taken over or get sued.

Abusers allowed, disabilities shamed, no care.

Poor service. Customer services are polite, but very unhelpful.

Houses in complete disrepair with "repairs" being barely patchwork.

Brand new kitchen made in a very inconvenient way; I cannot use my appliances properly, or clean properly, due to this. Less than a year later it was not up to health and safety. Lots of damp. *Walls falling onto the floor*

They don't show houses anymore (inc pre-pandemic) which makes me wonder if they're interviewing people, like I had to be, before offering them residence.

Facilitating the abuse of disabled people.

YHG - no evidence of caring for tenants

I live next to neighbours whose homes are Your Housing Group owned and run. YHG has no conern for the properties or the tenants. Appalling condition of propoerties, jobsworthy attitudes, no follow-ups to problems, full of excuses. This and most housing associations should be abolished and a proper local council run association should do the work and be answerable to local communities. Government has decided that making a profit off of affordable local housing is best so that their greedy mates can get rich by squeezing tenants and reducing their duty of care.

Well my bigest problem with Your…

Well my bigest problem with Your Housing group is when they first contacted me to offer me a property they explained to me they wanted to move someone in to the property as soon as possible their for they require alot of documents and character reference off a professional person in just 24 hours or they would move on to another potential tenant in my personal opinion this is rather unreasonable and cruelt and don't understand want the rush was all about I have been with other housing associations such as lrwell Valley who did required documents and character reference but not with a time limit of just 24 hour

4-6 week decant on shocking property is now ongoing 8 1/2 months

8 months and ongoing of 'work' (that doesn't appear to be getting done at all on regular inspection) for a house unfit for purpose, meanwhile myself and my even more sick mother have been dumped in a decant property with 2 less rooms, and in worse condition than the house deemed unfit for purpose we had to be decanted from. We have had to put up with electric meter and elctrical cutout issues, gas issues, safety and fire hazard issues, damp, repeated bpiler issues, ignored reports of several burglary attempts, filthy knickers lodged in radiators, broken window frames, birds in walls, for starters and an ever increasingly growing list ... IN THE DECANT PROPERTY!!! do yourself a favour if you read this and are looking for a new housing association... AVOID THIS ONE LIKE THE PLAGUE IT IS!!! we've taken things to solicitors twice! Had settlements TWICE!!! And the work and this poor excuse of a decant is STILL ONGOING.... 8 MONTHS AFTER THE 4-6 WEEKS QUOTED TO US!!!

YOURHOUSINGGROUP IS A HUGE JOKE!!!

a housing manager admitted to me they bought up too much property and now can't manage it, so people like us suffer.

Meanwhile they keep promoting '£55 million in improvement to the kitchens and bathrooms of their houses' ...BULL

They keep fighting and arguing over fixing ours which needs it, was actually agreed upon in a court settlement ... AND THEY STILL HAVENT DONE THE WORK.. they aren't spending money on jack... it's all lies.
