Dixons Lettings Halesowen have COMPLETELY failed my trust.
The over all management through themselves to the Landlord/Lady has been ridiculous. 6 days from moving out of the property and i STILL haven't received my deposit back due to 'miscommunication'. I don't believe it to be miscommunication at all. I believe it to be lazyness. They did the inventory on the 25th of November so why was it not sent over the next day? They have misinformed the people who do the inventories and i am now being told it could take another week for the money to come through. Not only has this let me down, but when there was an issue with lighting not working in the property as well as having issues with people breaking in, I was informed by Dixons that i'd have to fund it myself as that is what the landlord/lady had requested. Being a SINGLE female on a ground floor property and having no sense of security. Not only have Dixons let me down, but so has the Landlord/Lady. If it is really this difficult to contact your Landlord/Lady then why purchase the property in the first place?

I have tried to contact Your Housing Group via the hub that does not allow me to use it as it just keeps saying NO ACTIVE APPLICATIONS, I tried calling the emergency repair phone number but was kept hanging on line while music was playing and after 10 minutes I had to hang up because I could not afford to stay on the line any longer. I have also messaged them on Facebook messenger but I have had no response at all from them. I have put in two complaints now as well. I find their lack of responding to people’s needs and requirements very disappointing, disgusting, disgraceful and disheartening.

I would like to say that I have had many issues with Your Housing Group. However since they have changed the CEO to Jacque Allen I can honestly say the service was second to none. Jacque put my issues into the hands of a lady called Kate Meredith who dealt with every issue I had. The repairs were corrected immediately and left me very impressed. I really feel this is a turning point for Your Housing and hopefully they will give everyone the same service which I have received. Thank you again.

We are waiting for an emergency repair for the boiling with a part being ordered for the second time and still no response. We have also got excessive Mold with an inspector coming out to assess and advising of everything that was needed again still no response. We are going down the route for compensation for the Mold as it is now out of control and after years of dealing with and cleaning this myself i still have no response. After replying to surveys and questionnaires and even a door call questionnaire which I explained every detail we still have no response. We also now have 3 plug sockets that are not working, and I am reluctant to raise a fault as i feel like i won't get a response. Please can someone call me ASAP. Tenancy number - 150023

I would put 0/5 if I could. This company is horrific and should be fined under tenant wellbeing regulations.
They ignore you, respond late, and if you need a repair or compensation they completely leave you in the dark and stop replying. Then they want to constantly charge you more on Service Charge fees because the companies they use "Overspend" every year.
I would highly recommend every person having troubles with Your Housing Group reports them to Housing Ombudsman.
A joke.Waiting for an "emergency" repair(24 hours) for 5 days now....and i'm still gonna wait.In the past,was the same...they couldn't care less.
I have been 3 months without a cooker. I've called 10 times, waiting almost an hour every time and they say they are going to call you back to book an appointment but they never do. I finally got to book a date twice but nobody turned up, leaving me waiting for two full days (days I took off work especially for that). The most useless and disrespectful housing group I have ever dealt with.
Absolutely disgraceful company let me down over and over again.
Promised me that the work on my flat would be completed weeks ago, they haven't even started the work.
Sent them emails which they can't be bothered to reply to it's the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
This is a joke now I've been waiting since Thursday 15 September 2022 for emergency call out for my boiler and its now Sunday after ringing them after 2r hours to say no one has turned up and being told another 24 hours emergency has been raised and so on and now its Sunday still no o e has turned up. Will be making a full complaint about this and I would like some advise into whether I can take this.further
I have been dealing with Alex regarding buying a home in Hartford Cheshire .You can tell he is under considerable pressure and really busy . Nonetheless he has been really helpful snd professional. He is a tremendous asset to the Company.
I have been a tenant over 25 years. During this time I have witnessed the decline of service in all areas. Joiners sent to do the job of an electrician. Workmen who need a 'special ladder'...to change a lightbulb in communal area. Our former cleaners used to carry spares in their vans. They did not need a special ladder.
I live in Manchester. One day our gardeners actually came all the way from Wales...
I have seen scaffolding erected only for the workmen to come the next day and not complete the job because the scaffolding had been erected wrongly. I could go on and on. Who is responsible for giving contracts to companies whose workmen(not all) do not have the skills to complete the repair? Why is there no one person or team, with a knowledge of what is needed to complete a repair. Someone needs to take responsibility.
It should be named US because that’s all they are about . There jobs there state of the art work premises. Full of propaganda.
I have never dealt with a housing association that is so bad that I have had my lot with them I have reported repairs that many times that they haven't done that I am now going to take them to court and sue them and I think the only way to deal with them is for the tenants to all come together and take action and get what is owed to all of us
This landlord is an utter shambles. I've been emailing their complaints department for 5 months and had no reply.
In the 6 years I have been a tenant it's been nothing but major repair after major repair. They send contractors out without notice and half the time they send the wrong ones. It took them 6 months to fix a leak from the boiler. It's just a pity you can't give minus stars because this landlord does not deserve any.
Where do I even start, what a disgrace! We have been tenants for over 24 years! Not missed a single payment, kept the house in prestine condition, spent thousands of pounds repairing things THEY should as a company! Mould dont even start, kitchen apparently cant have one until 2027 - been over 10 years since they fitted this one - iv had to do all repairs myself! Supervisor is beyond awful - no communication - no call backs! Never respond to calls and do such cowboy jobs! Time this company went to the papers and had a case filed against them! & thats going to be me doing just that! Looking at these reviews shows im not the only one suffering!!! They have such a incompetent team of staff!
Absolutely disgraceful housing Association, been tenants for 15 years and not missed a single payment, the garden fences are literally rotting away, and we’ve had to do something about it ourselves, kitchen still hasn’t been changed after numerous complaints, just find it disgraceful how they can take money off people and do nothing to help the people living in their homes.
The worse housing association you could imagine. SHOCKING!!!!
We have dangerous holes on the path that our children could break their ankles on. This has been reported for over 2 years and they don't class it as an emergency fix. We have a window sill that leaks, the taps are loose, the toilet I leaking, the window handles are broken off so that we cannot open the windows, the electrics need re wiring according to an independent electrician and he quoted " the electrics are dangerous and don't follow regulations, they need re wiring ASAP". We had rats in the loft, which I have had to take care of myself. There's a large tree that has pushed the manhole cover open with it's roots allowing rats to escape.
The workmanship throughout the house is very cowboy and "slap and dash". Shocking is an understament. They should be sued.
All repairs have been attended within 24 hrs, never had a problem with that. Only when applied for the house in 2018 the lady I spoke to was a little bit rude (Helen). No other problems.(Liverpool L6)
