I have been offered two different houses from your housing group. I was told that I would be allowed to take my pets with me. Sent all my documents and id. Got excited. I sent everything they asked for and did everything they asked straight away. Next day after being offered each house I got a call. Sorry but you can't take all your pets. I was distraught. I cried and pleaded and tried to reassure them that my pets were really good and I could get references for them. Your housing group were heartless and uncaring. I spoke to the manager whom also was heartless. I pleaded that I needed to move out of my current property. But she didn't care. Then she started lecturing me on my circumstances. Asking me have I considered new schools for my child, why do I want to move. She was so arrogant. In the end I turned both houses down. I will be making an official complaint. And I will never apply for one of their properties again.

Awful, Awful, Awful. If you have any issues they don't help. It took them 6months to fix a simple plug hole problem in my bathroom. I've never experienced this level of incompetence and indifference.
Edit to add: How do I send you this info you have asked for? You should have options in trustpilot to get these... so here we are again....Abysmal.

Living with vermin!! I have three children And I am Currently due to give birth in less than 10 weeks time! And feeling very ignored and pushed aside. It’s so unfair
List of damage items…
• The wire on myMicrowave
• The wire on the Air fryer. This led to it setting A light!
• The seal on my fridge has been Chewed
• The wire on my electric cooker has now been chewed
• The wire on the Alexa
• Carpet on the stairs3/4 big holes Chewed out of it
• Carpet in my living room has two big holes shooting out of it
• On the carpet the landing has a big hole chewed into it.
• They have been in my daughters and son’s bedroom and chewed clothing.
• Two big holes in the plaster in the hallway
• Holes behind kitchen cupboards in kitchen cupboards… Too many count in there!
• Hole leading outside in the cupboard in my hallway
• I am due to give birth in under 10 weeks… and they have chewed the baby’s pram!
I do not have the funds to buy these items again.
I would also like to add that my two older children that have witnessed 2 rats running down the stairs towards them as we arrive home, are absolutely terrified of them coming into there bedroom and hurting them I have had all 3 children in my bed for a few weeks now so we can shut the door and they feel safe. And I’ve been on the floor heavily pregnant may I add (Before this I have gone to use the bathroom during the night and a rat ran out of there room and down the stairs, this is when I found droppings and clothing chewed) just a horrible thing to live with knowing my children don’t feel safe in there own home!
The kitchen is the vermin’s play ground, every morning I go down to make the kids breakfast and they have been all over everything in the kitchen before I prepare any food from myself from the children in that kitchen, I have to bleach it! As I’m not having the children poorly! Then, after preparing food, I have to bleach it. Just Trying not to give them a reason to come out, but they still do and chew household items… I don’t allow children in the kitchen anymore, As it doesn’t feel clean anymore doesn’t Matter how much you bleach everywhere! We stay in my bedroom a lot to watch tv and play games & eat meals that’s where they feel most safe as there’s no holes in there.
I would like someone to listen to me and help me as I honestly don’t know what els to do I feel a failure no child should have to grow up in a house like this. Never mind bring a newborn baby home to this. I feel very ignored and pushed aside because I’m a single mum on my own so I feel like I’ve been placed at the bottom of everyone’s list.
And I’ve never given any reason for this my rents always paid on time and never been any trouble. And I have also never been listened to about my concerns of living next door to convicted paedophile which I wasn’t informed about when I first moved in!

We've been tenants for 30 plus years under Helena not had much to moan about then last five years or so under torus have had a few problems but the last 12 months absolute nightmare they caused a heavy leak in the loft living room ceiling came down damaged to flooring furniture including a few weeks old very expensive suite left for months to sort ceiling out then caused another leak in bedroom same again took for ever to repair ceiling damaged bathroom same again but still awaiting so upto now it's been 12 months without flooring and jobs nothing like complete so hopefully this time next year maybe get somewhere he's hoping and all this knowing both of us in very ill health so as left with no other option now got disrepair claim going had they acted better we would have been happy just to get our home back
Reported a near miss on the steps leading up to my property two months ago. A delivery driver had almost injured himself when one of the steps came away from the already rotting structure that had been looked at by a member of YH staff last year. An emergency repair constituted little more than a maintenance operative fencing and taping off the steps to prevent anyone using it and suggested that I use my next door neighbours steps instead. I called YH the following week to inform them that I was buying a house elsewhere and needed access to my own front steps to move my furniture out when the house sale completed. I was told a new set of steps would be fitted, a job had been raised and I would receive a date when the repair would take place. Two months, nearly ten phone calls, 6 promises of call backs and two weeks to the date I actually move out and I refuse to waste any further time on this tin pot joke of a company. I informed them on the Monday of my notice to quit the property and received an email the following day referring to a call that was never made . I then received a call from a different person to discuss my reasons for leaving who was surprised to learn that I had never even spoken to her colleague? She promised to call me back regarding the issues raised but failed to do so. An appointment was made for a housing officer to visit to inspect the property which I welcomed but they called to cancel half an hour before they were due to turn up. I then made one final attempt and instructed the person I spoke to that this was the last time I would waste time on them. She promised me a call back from the person overseeing the repair and a follow up call to ensure I had received the information I needed. Neither of these happened. I received an email from someone who clearly wanted to discuss the payment of rent that would be due before I leave. They were instructed to provide a date that the repair would take place and then we could discuss finances. I have been turned down by two removal companies due to the access to my property. This has been highlighted to YH and falls on deaf ears. I can honestly say that this is organisation -I use the term in it's broadest possible sense- is happy to take money from their tenants (I would like to add that I am not and have never been in any arrears with them,) but not quite so quick to use it to maintain the property. They are an utter disgrace. As tenants we are treated with total. contempt despite making every effort to raise issues before they become so serious as to endanger the health and safety of occupants and visitors. My property was modified prior to moving in and the result was that there are no doors downstairs. This caused a serious concern in terms of fire prevention and also made it very expensive to heat . YH were aware of this but have ignored it. My conclusion is that they would rather invest in new properties rather than maintain the older ones and the same seems to apply to their tenants .Either way I would rather sleep on the streets than return to a property owned by Your Housing.
Edit. Received a visit from the housing officer over two weeks ago who assured me that if I was unable to find a removal company to transport my furniture to my new house that I would not be charged for the additional time in the property. Presumably I am supposed to be grateful? I was also told by this woman that I would receive a follow up call by the end of the week regarding the failure to repair or replace the front steps. Nothing. No call. Never happened. Just another pie crust promise from a crumbling company. Pitiful. All I have received are emails and letters reminding me to ensure that any outstanding rent is gone paid . The key safe has been fitted to the front of the property to ensure they get their keys back and that was done without my knowledge. No knock on the door just sneaked in and sneaked out. I move out tomorrow and have hired a professional company to take any rubbish or other items for disposal. I will be paying them because I refuse to pay YH anything more. I was informed by the housing officer that the property should be left in the condition in which I received it. With this in mind I will remove all the lightbulbs, leave dust and filth everywhere and ensure it stinks of cat urine because that's the condition it was in when I arrived.
Edit; the response received on my review is almost as weak and shoddy as the service. They do not mention the email received asking for a guarantee that I will be handing back the keys on the correct date. No response to the question about the additional costs incurred during the house move as a result of poor access . No response to the formal complaint raised . This company do not care .

Even one star is too much for this absolutely disgusting organisation. I have been battling with mould and damp problems with my ceilings for years. I was in legal battles last year then had another major leak with my bath in March. Had forever problems with my shower, leaking and flooding through four cupboards leaving black mould everywhere. I am been sanding treating trying to manage this myself up until two weeks ago where I had a tiny leak. The plumber come and turned it into a gushing nightmare. I had to dehumidifiers on constantly. I’ve spent a fortune on mould products and I cannot get through to anybody about the appointments that have been booked in as these appointments are never even booked in after me chasing and chasing I took time off work with 3 separate jobs next week to try and get some of these repairs set into motion as I need all my shower ripping out, and the inspector said this himself that I had three weeks ago now they’re trying to push these appointments back even further as they was never even booked in and I cannot take any more time off work as I will lose my jobs as you can understand getting A week off with three separate jobs is an absolute miracle. I’ve not had seven days off in over four years not even Christmas. I am contacting the papers, my solicitor environmental health and my MP today you have today to phone me. If not I will be setting things into motion. I’ve already spoken to the papers and they’re waiting for the go-ahead. I have over 90 photos of damage that your property is causing some my items. Your absolute jokes

Senior management are bullies and liars. ASB Team is even worse. They do look after Yourhousinggroup interests and not their tenants interests. They white wash, lie and brush everything under the carpet. I think it's time they face the music for what they are doing and especially for putting vulnerable people under so much stress do to their incompetency, arrogance and disgusting behaviour and conduct. Serious legal action are be taken against this company. I want to see what Yourhousinggroup Chief Executive Jacque Allen has to say when contacted by a legal team and an MP in regards of her management staff?
The app never works, the book a repair part however of course there is nothing broken about the make a payment part!

We were looking at purchasing a property at Manor Gardens, Northwich and had a small blip at the start but this has been overcome.
Donna & Amber have been super at supporting our application so far & we are progressing with the purchase of our share on this development.
Even so the development is still under construction the area is well looked after by the site team.
Don’t be put off by the negative reviews on here as we feel you will get a positive outcome always from Amber & Donna at Yours housing.
Not happy with the services am getting a person was aposs to come back to fix me roof never got back in contact with me and no job on the app I had another person to come out for a ground worker to fix me gutter today but I end up getting a roofer again but a different person this time. All they do is take photos say someone will be out to fix them. I had to fail appointments. Even had me place inspection but no news over that The phone service you have to wait on for ages. Wish they will get there act together.

Your housing group is disgusting I have been waiting on repairs to my house for months on end I have called them almost every day and have filled out the complaints form and still nothing they have left me in a house that has a leaking roof full of mould I cannot use two of the bed rooms because of it. My son is asthmatic and should not be near mould so they are breaking the law ! the house I got of them is in a state of disrepair there is water running into the electrics. The house Is riddled with cockroaches when I first moved in there was sewage running into the garden the window had no lock on it there was no back gate on the property. Huge holes and parts of doors missing which they have still done nothing about all walls need plastering as falling down and roaches coming out of them no grab rail on a steep set of stairs the house is a death trap I will be posting pictures and the whole story on social media so people can see what this housing association is doing to there tenants

By far the worst landlord I’ve ever had
They just don’t care about tenants repairs non existent you fill out a complaints email and never even respond after 14 years in my lovely bungalow I find myself looking to move
At nearly 60 because I just can’t put up with them anymore as per usual you do as they ask and they still never contact you I even made a official complaint and still no response absolutely shocking behaviour

Needed advice regarding home insurance. Rang them and spoke with Gary who was most helpful. I certainly couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend these people, saved me quite a bit of money . Thank you
Regarding the reply from Clair. I absolutely did mean to leave this review for Your Housing Group, Gary saved me both time and money. To say I'm pleased is an understatement. Thanks again John

If I could give a zero rating.. for that matter a minus would be more fitting. In an ongoing battle of torture caused by fleas from another tenant. Housing provider has had ample opportunity to treat their flat and yet they've left me to suffer the worst experience I've ever had. My torture began in February this year and knowing nothing about fleas thought I had shingles and treated for such. In March discovered it was fleas and the rest of my story continues to be a living nightmare. Will be taking another posters advice below and contacting my MP tomorrow. Case already with ombudsman. This organisation's complaints procedures are utter nonsense and unfit for purpose.

The tenants' behaviour is problematic, but the customer service is even more concerning. Despite submitting numerous complaints regarding these tenants, I have received no response. The shared fence panels have been damaged by the tenants on one side, and they have installed protruding nails and glass on our property, creating a hazardous environment. On the other side, there are also various objects encroaching onto our property. These actions are illegal under UK law, yet Your Housing has consistently ignored my complaints. The tenants are not only violating the law but also breaching their tenancy agreement. I would certainly avoid any areas managed by Your Housing Group; do not purchase a property near them under any circumstances.

Does not carry out repairs that are stated are there obligations to carry out on the repair responsibility page on there website to carry out dismissed my repair requests online numerous times discarded many of my phone calls saying I am responsible for the repair of my exterior gate which it states on the website it’s there responsibility they then lied saying it’s in my tenancy that am obliged for the repair in which it does not state in my tenancy that I am responsible for this repair I have every phone call recorded along with the online repair submitted on the home hub along with the numerous emails I have a sent to be blanked. I have 2 children under the age of 5 years old one with a disability which I have explained to them that there’s no gate on the garden so if they was to run out of the property and a accident was to happen then it would be there fault as they’ve left the property exposed unsafe and exposed to intruders. I have since contacted housing ombudsman and my local mp and I am also awaiting a visit from the environmental health in regards to this matter. Anyone else having problems with your housing group contact the housing ombudsman and also your local mp and environmental health as your housing group have a duty of care to carry out all repairs in there properties as it is tenant’s responsibility to make sure the rent is paid on time every month it’s there responsibility to make sure repairs are carried out in the correct conduct and manner do not be fobbed off by this company and there lies and text book customer services asking to contact them and send more emails and calls over to still do nothing about the problem !!!!

Brilliant housing association! The system is easy to use and the staff and Contractors are lovely and helpful. We understand that things go wrong within your home, however I am very happy with this housing association and I feel very lucky as there are some terrible housings.

Absolutely appalling housing group.
I moved in with integrated appliances which have now broken and I can't replace because the housing unit they fitted isnt standard. I have asked simply for the sizes of equipment they installed but they cant even respond properly to emails. I have put in 2 complaints and heard nothing back and have now been without a cooker for months. They replaced a neighbours but wont mine(discrimination at it's best but that's another matter)
I think they are a bit behind and haven't heard of the housing act 2018 yet. Leaving a home without cooking facilities or the space to put them does not make it habitable.
UPDATE. it is now 02.02.25 and after getting a resolution at a stage 2 complaint and starting mediation Your Housing has done nothing to resolve my problem and has also ignored a boiler fault since Oct 24. They are now not liasing with me or the mediation that they set up. It's not something I want to do but i have no choice but to take this discriminatory company to court now as all other ways forward have been exhausted and they have no concern for how me and my son are living .
