May I suggest you take your complaint to your local MP or nothing will get done, I have been through it all myself, property not even having basic amenities such as working heating and a safe electrical system with all manner of other things unsafe and broken from the day I moved in, total shambles. The amount of time I spent calling the emergency repairs and often late in the night and still not managing to get to speak to someone. The housing officer in Chester couldn't care less about my complaints and concerns, she made that clear enough times, same as the so called surveyor who came and tested for damp at my request as the property stunk of mildew and had visible signs of damp problems yet he dismissed every one of my concerns, well he would as he works for them. Take it to your MP, there is no there other way.

Please forgive the below ramble. This whole ordeal and all the frustration that has come with it has taken it out of me.
We’ve waited 11 months for a repair on our bin shed roof that has caused damage to our hallway. It has been ‘completed’ by cowboys at Fix360 after two days this week. The roof is wonky and poorly fitted in two parts, unfinished, my neighbours side has some form of trim attached and is fit snug with the fascia at least but ours is not, nails are hanging out, pieces of wood that look like they’ve been snapped in half, damaged and frayed have been thrown up, parts are not secured or finished. Missing bricks. I have a ply board meant for the inside roof leaning in my shed, door frame damaged…. I could go on and I sure wish I could share the pictures.
Chasing up with this company, complaining, sending detailed pictures and descriptions of damage, gets you no where fast. We’ve had so many no show visits, the last time I was told it was because they needed to order the proper materials… having viewed the materials used, it looks like they rifled through a skip to find them.
You feel like you are begging this company like a charity for help… when actually we’re paying customers.
I sent detailed pictures to my contact there on Tuesday evening, with no response until today after one of their colleagues emailed me to say now the work has been completed can they close my complaint??
‘From looking at the job the work has been completed so I have sent your email to the area supervisor for him to review and if necessary to do a post work inspection.’
I’d like it if they could look at the pictures I’ve sent as evidence and not the ‘completed job’ tick on their system.
I look forward to hearing the area supervisors review however at this point, I have little faith.

Given an option I wouldn’t even give this company one star!! Absolutely sick of the continuous lies I get told from YHG. If I had an option I’d never have them as my housing association. They are notoriously hard to get hold of. The wait on calling them is around 20 mins (if ur lucky and that includes the emergency at weekends)! that’s if you don’t get cut off beforehand. I have taken to Facebook messaging them now because my blood pressure can’t cope with the waiting plus it’s all in black and white. I had my front garden fencing measured up last year. They finally arrived 7 months later with no measurements so I basically got what was at the timber merchants. I now have fencing where I’ve had to wedge stones in to 2 panels place because they aren’t big enough and fall out. I have no new gate because of said measurements “gone missing” so they bodged the old one back in to place (I don’t even have the energy to fight for a new one when all I’ll get is fobbed off. I had bathroom mould reported early 2023 and no one has come to look at it let alone sort it as it’s an “awkward job” and the roof would need work apparently! I have had a burst water pipe in my front garden for around 8 weeks now. Someone was sent to fix it last Tuesday and they said they’d be back at the end of the week to check on it! They obviously didn’t because they’d have seen it’s worse now than it was before. The sheer amount of water being lost & wasted is truly awful. I’ve had the supervisor for the area tell me twice now that someone would be out at a certain time and surprise surprise NOTHING! I’m sick to the back teeth of this company & their lies. Call yourselves landlords, you just want money and don’t give a toss about your tenants.

For 4 days now my disabled brother has had to live in his bungalow with not being able to use his taps or shower or toilet as there is a blocked drain and your housing have fobbed us off over and over since we first reported it when his bungalow was under 2 inches of sewage resulting in his carpets throughout the bungalow having to be removed. They also refuse to replace his carpets saying he should ha e his own insurance, now surely they should have insurance for these purposes as its a fault with there system not something he has done. I am now on hold in a queue once more on day 4 waiting to complain and try and get this sorted.

Lived here for 19 months excuse after excuse the roof has leaked for the entire tenancy. They patch it leaks they patch change entire loft insulation yes under a patch job .. so it leaks again. The money wasted on insulation change under a dodgy roof. Escalate to complaints team in October promised definite roof in April... May... going into June now. Still no date but had scaffolding 3 weeks now they said down as urgent as had no light in bathroom as water is running through the light fitting as only way of escape. My husband is having chemo and going through cancer treatment, explained this, they book appointments don't show change dates. Expect me to be physic then when I get annoyed there messing us around they reply concentrate on your husband he should be your priority. You have a cheek we are also entitled to a water tight property we pay you for. No mould or damp working safe electrics in a family home with children. I would never use this association again if had a choice and hadn't put so much money into this HOME we wouldn't stay as they know he's having treatment to weak to move anyway at the minute. So loosing battle and kicked when your down and added stress everytime it rains which room they direct the rain to next after each patchwork roof temp job. I won't name your employees for saying your down as a roof fix because you have cancer as any and every tenant deserves a good safe level of repairs from there landlord regardless of disability. They pay there rent do the right thing and keep the house in good order. I text and ring every day for updates to complaints and supervisor they either don't reply. Or say will get back to me
... they don't.

This housing association makes false allegations they even went the police and the police didn't have a case
They have caused me a lot of stress with the housing office making allegations on assumptions and then says it's true because she wrote it down
She also called me for a meeting and didn't introduce her self or any of her colleagues wouldn't give me a copy of her statement now I'm going to pursue this in court I have witness who was present do not trust any of them I have made a complaint and the complaint was dealt with by the same people I made the complaint about there legal team is really poor they posted a note throuh my door accusing me of criminal activity with no evidence what so ever all based on assumptions
So now it's become malicious liable and slander with police involved I wouldn't even give them 1 star it's the most corrupt company they tell lies it's ruined my life as well as my job

When they do repairs or upgrade your home, they use inferior materials. The worst thing is they refuse to do anything about anti-social behaviour. We had a group of yobs in the grounds causing damage and lighting fires, yet they didn't want to know because they don't have to put up with it.

After having a leak coming from my daughters flat to the flat below, Paul McNeilly of Yours housing group got it all sorted in 2 days, and was extremely polite helpful and kept us up to date throughout.
A great experience.

Absolutely disgusting, leaving an elderly couple 3 days not being able to use the bathroom as toilet wont flush is a joke, being told they are on an emergency call out this is the 3rd day and nothing, having to use buckets to go to the toilet is a disgrace,

I am so angry with your housing. The bins are Overflowing agan and agan they make no effort to help Solve the flight tipping. There are rats foxes. Also, the glass in 2 of the doors What have still not been fixed The doors are constantly being broken. Your housing should be ashamed of themselves Making myself And others live like this. I do not feel safe in my own home. I also have expressed this many times And still get the same response, which is nothing. 13 of October 2023 which was my last review And not one of these things that I reviewed last time has been fixed or been sorted, they did empty the bins. But the problem.
Was not solved as they are just as bad the bins are Disgusting

More expensive than private rented property, spend thousands of your own money to make the house livable and then pay more in rent than most private property.

Your housing did a roof repair over a week ago, it was completed in just over 2 hours
Unfortunately the scaffolding is still up at the front and the back, we can't get in and out as easily as we should as we need to be aware of the various poles and mainly the boards that were put down to protect the decking, it is now proving to be a trip hazard and its very slippery out there due to the constant rain. We are unable to clear up the debris that came from the roof, which is now soaking wet and a definite slip hazard until this equipment is taken down. We don't want help to clear it up just an honest answer of when this scaffolding will be removed.
I am constantly being fobbed off on the phone but a very good point is that as this scaffold came from an independent company I have to assume that Your Housing are wasting money on hiring equipment that is sitting idle
Perhaps it will take an accident before this is addressed
I did send and e mail but the response time was 5 days which really is a joke
Edit - I received a call from a Swansea number on Friday and was told they were going to push for the removal of this scaffolding early this week. Its now midweek but no contact, strangely enough the number they called from on Friday now says its an incorrect number
What does it take to get a straight honest answer out of these people

I have been reading lots of reviews on here that talk about complaining via email or phone. The best and most effective way to complain to YHG is by writing and posting tracked delivery. If you are not happy with the Stage 1 complaint process you can escalate to Stage 2 and then if you are still not happy then you can escalate even further to the Housing Ombudsman. This is the Stage of my complaint at the moment regarding my father who had a fire at his Sheltered Housing accommodation owned by YHG. They can not ignore a letter in writing and if you do take it to the Housing Ombudsman you have to have followed the correct complaints procedure AND so do YHG by using the complaint handling code. This is the only way you will move forward and hopefully have your complaints resolved. Don't bother emailing nothing will ever change. My complaint is currently being investigated by the Housing Ombudsman. The housing ombudsman is free and impartial. YHG investigating YHG doesn't work and isn't a fair process therefore nothing ever changes. Please write and take copies.
I have an active ongoing complaint (for 6 months) yet nothing is being done! Absolutely sick of taking days off work for appointments and nobody shows up! I will be charging you for the days off work . You have a cheek to up my rent and for what ? No repairs have been done! and don't even get me started on fix360 quicker you pull the contract from them the better. You have caused nothing but stress and inconvenience

What does one even say anymore?
Been living in this property for 28 years, no issue from my family or property, spent thousands doing the home up over the years!
Yet this company is downright appalling, the negligence is unreal!
No repair work, fail to log the calls you make, don’t turn up for repair work!
Logged numerous complaints - yet nothing happens! Like do they even care?
Doesn’t look like they know the laws around landlord and tenants and the rights a tenant holds!
Iv wasted so many days off work and no one turns up for repairs! are u gna pay me for not going to work?????
Fix360 is a bunch of cowboys no motivation to even turn up for work!
The only thing to do now is lodge a complaint right at the top and stakeholders! Only way anything will get done!
