Accidental purchase too risky
Far too easy to purchase in error if they have your payment details from a previous event. I bought something by accident, notified them immediately and they will not refund. I had no idea they had stored my PayPal details from a previous event. There should have been more steps in the purchasing process as it is far too easy to create accidental orders.
I realise it's super efficient but usually with any other purchase there would be a step to add your funding source and another to confirm your funding source. Also with PayPal there usually is a further step through to the PayPal website and another to confirm and another to go back to the original website to complete the purchase.
I think at the very least they should add an extra step in the payment process so that people realise what is happening.
Paid £50 for tickets and the event …
Paid £50 for tickets and the event isn't even on today. Not happy. No one is available to speak either. Not the first time I've had issues with these guys.
Won't be using again and will be speaking to everyone about it.
Great until you need support
Great until you need support. Booked theatre tickets for the wrong date, realised within 2 minutes of receiving confirmation and contacted them within 5 minutes.... they would not support.
An app that provides a great service right until they take your cash...
Really bad customer service - be wary
Really bad customer service.
YPlan made an error and sold me an extra ticket to an event. This was for about £65. I approached them for a refund assuming that there would be no problem and that they would help me and refund the money. They did not and were very dismissive. I will never use YPlan again and would urge others to avoid using YPlan as they are not trustworthy at all. In addition, after I have stopped using YPlan, I have realised they are not usually the place to go for the best price for events and are usually more expensive than most places, in my experience.
The whole experience left me really upset, disappointed and out of pocket.
happy customer
I found this app after I was annoyed that the gig tickets I wanted were all being posted on profiting ticket resell websites, within seconds of being put on sale. I found the gig listed on the Yplan app and even though it said sold out next to it, I emailed the company asking if there were anymore tickets available and they replied promptly stating there were some available. At the time this did seem too good to be true, but despite that I purchased them anyway. I was very skeptical up to the day of the event but I was very happy and relieved with the service. I managed to immediately pick up my ticket at the O2 arena even though I had imagined I would be turned away after reading some of these reviews. To some of the people who were confused and ended up having bad experiences with Yplan's service, you simply have to make sure you go to the box office to pick up your ticket, not straight to the doors. I managed to go to the gig and didn't have to support profiteering touts!
Avoid YPlan and book directly with theatre/venue!
I booked tickets through YPlan, and then wanted to pay more for better seats. However, the terms and conditions of YPlan do not allow you to do this, and their reason is because their ticket partner imposes this policy.
If i had booked directly with the venue, i would have been able to exchange my tickets at no cost and no hassle. I saved no money going through YPlan. In fact what i did get from YPlan was a lot of hassle. Rather than try to deal trough email, i tried to speak to them. Their phone number does not work, and they refused to phone me when i asked them through email!
Avoid YPlan for booking tickets to the West End. They save you no money, and you lose your flexibility.
Monaco Gran Prix 24 May 2015
I know this review is late, but approached Yplan after returning from the bad experience but could not give them details as the trip was booked by my son, who was away for 3 months in Brazil.
The trip to Monaco was a complete waste of time as we were sold a ticket for the Grand Prix which was on a street nearly half a mile away from the Grand Prix circuit. Most of the people I met on the day that booked with Yplan were very disappointed as they could not see the cars racing and ended up, like myself watching it on a big screen. Will never use this company again.
Avoid
Trying to buy two lots of tickets for my daughter / granddaughter online for the Christmas holidays, got the link from the school, with a code to get 50% off. I bought tickets for rides and father Christmas with the code without a problem, when I tried to buy for the ice skating I was unable to see where to put the code, I pressed the pay button and realized that I would now not be able to add the code.
I tried phoning straight away to try and rectify the problem, the number advertised is not working so the only option is via email, which they answered eventually, only to be told that they were not able to help. So do be careful before you click because there is no back turn. Phoned paypal to complain only to find out that this company sets up a system whereby they can help themselves to your account, pay pal kindly removed that right. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Less flexibility of tickets than purchasing directly from partners
I've updated my rating and review because YPlan made some clarifications and also refunded the ticket that I've booked in error.
My only comment left is that it would be great if users would be better informed before purchasing than they may not enjoy all the benefits that they could get if they book directly from the partner's website.
It's a bit frustrating to realise this post fact.

This is to make people aware of misselling 'deals'.
I bought a ticket through YPlan for the same price I could of bought directly on partner's website.
I've opted to use their app just for convenience but after I realised that I've selected the wrong date I tried to cancel or change the date of my booking. I was delayed until it was already too late.
Waste of money.
I'd like to mention that it is possible to cancel or change the date directly on the partner's website and the price was the same so there's wasn't any deal though YPlan.
I really don't understand what was the 'deal' here when I've paid the same price but without the flexibility or cancelling or changing the date.
I understand not being able to make amendmends when there is a real offer but in this case it was simply nastly.

Great fun for all ages
Took my 7year old, he had a great time, friendly and helpful team. Will go again...
Missing tickets
I could find my confirmation email.
I got a reply and they resent my ticket within 3 hours.
Efficient team,
Best app to keep you in the know!
I love Yplan! I had this app before it became really popular so all my friends thought I was in the know about all the cool events that were going on in London, the truth was it was all Yplan! I brought cheap tickets to see Luon King and I got a real good seats! Now all my friends have Yplan because I made them download it, I would recommend it to anyone!
Booking not on guest list
When I arrived at the London ghost tour they did not have my booking. Now concerned I have two sets of theatre tickets booked and when I arrive they may not be at the box office.

Eye-opening
Love checking up on What YPlan has to offer each week. Went to a concert for £10 and the seat was in an area where prices are usually £60! Have found great events to go and have booked them already.
Very easy to use. Although could be better on price.
Need to check their prices, better can be found elsewhere. For spontaneity however it cannot be beaten.
