not finding the ticket
I wander if there is a workshop to teach how to use / get your ticket you booked 1 month ago using YPLAN. And i'm one of not many people, i guess, that put down confirmation number, card i paid with and the e-mail address i register with on the date i did it.
So how confusing can ever get having yet a nice designed page and very tempting shows, events, etc..?
Disappointed so far,
Nikita

Nice discount but the seats...
I went to "The Phantom of the Opera", for a really good price thanks to YPlan. But they said in the app that I would get "the better sites available at that moment", and the place was really bad, with limited vision, and there were lots of place available with better location in the same zone were I was.
Anyway, it was amazing!!
Fantastic- so much covered and great price.
Rebecca was a great guide. She was interesting and enthusiastic and made everyone feel welcome, taking an interest them.
The tour was a very doable walk. The tour takes in so much if Williamsburg's hotspots and the hosts at each were very friendly.
The price is really cheap for what you get as part of the walk, drinks, food, ice cream and chocolates.
I would recommend this tour to friends and am keen to stay in Williamsburg next time I'm in NYC!
Not so good surprise experience
We got the tickets for menu + drink at 20h but when we arrived there was no table booked for us.
Although they had information of our tickets they informed that through Yplan they don't make reservations and they were fully booked!
So my question is why we get tickets for a specific day and hour?
Perfect!
I am very happy with my purchase. Reasonable prices for good programmes. +++++
Great app for discounts
Yplan tells you about what's going on around with cheaper tickets. Went to westfield this weekend, get bored and booked tickets for cinema. 15 minutes later I had the tickets in my hand. I use the app once a month which is more than many other apps in my phone.
Hope this helps.
Fantastic lifestyle app
I regularly use Yplan to book events in London. The app is easy to use and has a wide variety of things to book. The paying process is also very easy. YPlan is allowing me to have a social life in London that is affordable!!
Don't bother
Indiscernible UX, b-grade events. What more could you want?

Improv Night
Booked a Night of Improv through YPlan. While the booking process was fine, the actual event itself was a big disappointment. It wasn't clear from the event page that this was a Student improv group, rather than professionals. I would've had much different expectations going into the event had I known it was a student run activity, where they were obviously just learning the ropes of improv.
We left during the intermission as it really wasn't what we were hoping for.
Handy! Very Handy
I've used the app a few times for discounted cinema tickets and I've loved the ease of using the app! Also given me some great ideas of things to do for future dates and last minute. A location based 'what's happening near me' would be a great addition.
Not allowed into Kensington Roof Gardens
Not happy at all. No mention on Yplan about dress code. We were therefore refused entry. Am going to be pursuing this with my credit card company.
Really easy, great first experience
Great first experience with YPlan, thank you.
Bought cinema tickets - couldn't claim
Bought two cinema tickets on yplan.
All was good.
Went to the cinema (Stratford mall - Saturday afternoon). It was super busy so we queued for over 10 mins to get the tickets as you have to speak to someone at the sweet counter.
Here's the real kick in the teeth...
After 10-15 minutes we get to the front of the queue and the guy tells us we need to download the barcodes, but there is no signal in here so you'll have to leave the cinema and download the barcodes and come back.
If that want bad enough, we leave the cinema and get back to the mall where the crowds are to find that because there are so many people, the network on our phones does not work for data. So we spend 15 frustrating minutes trying to download a barcode.
By this time the movie odd about to start and we only just get the barcodes needed.
We go back inside, and given the, now, lateness, I go straight to the front of the queue to get the tickets (with about 20 eyes beaming into the back of my head as they believe that I am just pushing in).
We get the tickets and then go straight to our screen.
Then we are "that guy", that comes in just as the film is starting and people have to stand up while we get to our seats, etc.
Overall, it's a great idea, but needs way better execution. Why can't the app download the barcodes straight away when you purchase the tickets?
Yplan
Clever web/ app with tips if you're stuck on what to do on a night out.
Prices vary for events, so it is possible to find decent prices. Plus there is something for everyone.
Great because you can also look up things to do last minute so why plan? YPlan- why not?!
Damn you yPlan!
The problem with yPlan is that every time I load the app I end up buying tickets for something!
It's a nice problem to have :)
Yplan
Absolutely fantastic for anyone who lives in London. Saves so much money and recommends amazing events!
Terrible Seats
Seats were marked as "best available for the price range" and were retailing for the same price as seats on the floor near the stage. I was hoping to avoid transaction fees at other resellers, so I bought the tickets -- they turned out to be in the very back row of the balcony, literally as far away as the stage as possible. There is no way to verify ahead of time what seats you are getting, and charging front-row prices for seats *reselling* on secondary markets for a third of what YPlan charged is unethical.
YPlan review
Great deals and bookings are very easy. Good for keeping up to date with what's on on your city.
