Our family have been using ZAAP for…

Our family have been using ZAAP for some time now, and we find it a really useful way of automating pocket money to our kids' ZAAP accounts. The kids learn a great deal more responsibility, they can save money (and access their balances on their phones with an app), and if we were to lose a ZAAP card (it hasn't happened yet, thankfully), we know their money is secure, as we can quickly and easily remove the funds back to the Parent Account. The kids also enjoy going out shopping with their cards, which gives them a little more independence. (And don't worry: they can't buy anything they shouldn't with their cards - alcohol/cigarettes, etc. are automatically blocked!) Highly recommended.

App is slow

App is slow, top ups have taken days and app asks for verification for transfers. This should be more immediate if which I've been told will happen in the coming months. I look forward to that.

Kids love it

Kids love it, they can use their cards everywhere and I can easily send them some money if they need it and I am not close by.

Great when used just to pay

Great when used just to pay, but can't get cash out or if you use savings option, then I can't for the life of me figure out how to transfer from savings back to spending account

Super dodgy

Wont provide transaction listing or statement, wont provide details of their compliance manager. They told me to get all the trasactions off the app but this service is not available on the app either. SO DODGY! What kind of bank doesnt provide transaction listings or statements?!
Dont waste your time, get a Spriggy, much better app, better customer service, lower fees.

I DIDN'T HAVE A GREAT START WITH ZAAP.

I DIDN'T HAVE A GREAT START WITH ZAAP.
1ST CARDS WE RECIEVED DIDN'T WORK.
THIS TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS TO RESOLVE.
NO-ONE ANSWERING PHONES AND SLOW EMAIL REPLIES.
2ND SET OF CARDS FINALLY CAME AND WE WERE REQUIRED TO DELETE THE ORIGINAL APP AND DOWN LOAD IT AGAIN TO WORK. BUT I NOW CAN ONLY SEE THE PARENTS BALANCE AND MY CHILD CANNOT.
MY CHILD IS NOW RELYING ON ME TO HAVE ENOUGH FOUNDS.
WE DONT USE IT THAT MUCH ANYMORE AND WE ARE WAITING UNTIL ALL MONEY HAS BEEN USED TO CANCEL THE SUSCRIPTION.
WE FEEL WE ARE BETTER OFF WITH A NAB DEBIT CARD.
VERY DISAPOINTED.

I don't usually leave a bad review

I don't usually leave a bad review, but since they sent me an email asking me to, I'll be honest. I signed up thinking this would be an awesome way to handle pocket money in my family. When the cards arrived I was unable to send my kids money via the app and site, so I emailed for help. This was many weeks ago, and I got an email informing me they have gotten my email and will get back to me - they haven't, the problem hasn't been fixed. Rendering things useless.

I really wanted to love this, and to make it part of my kids rewards and chores, and it was a real letdown they couldn't use their own adorable personal cards.

Hidden charges

Hidden charges. Every time I recharge the cards I have to pay interest on a cash advance from my bank. There is no other way to top up the cards other than via a credit card.

Terrible experience

I had $80 on the ZAAP card for my daughter. Since setting up the card I have had constant difficulties contacting someone to help me. I have called the company countless times, sent multiple emails and still no progress. Now the money on my daughters card is gone and has not been refunded to my card! I would not recommend this company ever and am STILL trying to resolve the issue and get my money back.

So many problems, such little customer service

Over 2 weeks ago I contacted you about declined transactions that you had taken money from the cards for and kept. I am still waiting for a reply. I have provided my email and phone number via facebook messenger. I haven't been given an incident number. I would like the money returned to the cards. Really disappointing the only way to get customer service is calling you out in public
