I give one star because you can't give…

I give one star because you can't give none. Zapaka UK are a thoroughly dishonest company who look professional on their website with their simple returns policy but in fact try everything to avoid giving you a refund, and fob you off with excuses when you contact them. We are still waiting for a refund months after it was due. I am reporting them to Trading Standards. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE.

Nightmare to deal with!

Order was returned promptly on July 20. My daughter paid £30 for international signed for delivery. Returned parcel still stuck at China customs since July 30. Won't issue a refund, they promised a store credit of 120% but still won't give that either. We have sent all photos, evidence of returned parcel, and tracking number number. What a circus. Will just have to file a chargeback from my bank.

RETURNS BE VERY AWARE!!! I wish i had read the reviews before using this seller!! This is my first and last time buying from ZAPAKA UK! I ordered a dress, it arrived in good time, and it's decent. But it doesn't fit me so I requested a refund. After being offered varying % of refund to keep the dress, they agreed to refund if I returned the item to an address in Germany. None of their uk based operations process returns. I returned the dress at a cost to myself of £8. The courier then emailed me to inform me that ZAPAKA were liable to import taxes and duties totalling around £14, which, if unpaid the package will be returned to me!! Zapaka refused to pay! So the dress will now be returned to me and I will be stuck with a dress I can not wear! Despite a number of emails seeking a fair solution, ZAPAKA have maintained their stance that I should pay all costs. I'm disgusted!! Buyers beware... if you order and are unhappy, be prepared to hold on to the item and recycle if it doesn't fit ...

Return Policy

My items arrived today and the dress is too small and is not a good fit. I contacted them regarding a return and despite there being a uk return address and the label I have been told I need to return to a China address the cost of which is £22. Please be aware before ordering that returns are a costly business and who knows whether I’ll actually get a refund. My recommendation would be choose another store

ZAPAKA UK is in CHINA!

I ordered 2 suits, one in a size S and one in a size M for my teenage boys thinking that it was a UK based company, however, the goods came all the way from China and took close to 10 days to arrive!! At £87 each the quality was ok for the price, but the suits came up very small ie the size M is the equivalent of a normal size S so I am left with a suit which cannot fit anybody. Even the suit that I am keeping fits quite tight and my boy won’t get much wear out of it but I digress. I have been contacting Zapaka (UK) since 19/6/24 by email to return the suit with no response. Their website has a phone number which if called is nonexistent also the same can be said about their online chat. I don’t understand how a company can claim to be UK if they are in China! I feel like I have been duped as had I realised the goods were coming all the way from China I would not have purchased. Their customer service info states that they will respond within 24 hours but it seems this also is non existent and a false claim as I am getting no response from them whatsoever. Seriously looking into reporting this company

Extremely poor customer service. Poor approachability. 3 weeks to deliver an order. Then they make it impossible for you to return or replace an item. I will never do business with them again.

Beautiful beaded prom dress

The dress arrived and its really beautiful with a delicate beaded pattern and some sparkles on the material. It fits very well on the bodice and the material is really ok and the skirt is long and A line and looks just like the picture. We measured and checked the size guide before ordering. The dress arrived intime and the tracking service is helpful to see where the parcel has got to. We allowed extra days for the shipment from China. The hem length needs altering because all dresses are made for a standard height. Overall are very happy with our purchase.

This would be a zero if I could give 0 stars. They sent the wrong sized item then when i tried to return the item they made it as difficult as possible.
Then if you read there pages of terms and conditions they only give 40 percent refund despite the incorrect order being there fault They finally after a series of e mails and photos of the item etc gave me the instructions to carry out the return of the item everything apart from the returns address. After weeks of asking for the address they sent me a load of automated reply’s which again did not contain the return address. In the end I gave up and sent the item back recorded delivery to the address on the package when I asked where my refund was they then told me I had sent the package to the wrong address at this point I gave up on it and never got a penny back for there cock up STAY AWAY you have been warned

Do NOT order anything from this company. The refund policy is only 7 days and very well hidden that you do t realise as every decent company gives a minimum of two weeks. I tried emailing them but they were absolutely no help, so now I’m stuck with a dress that goes not fit. ABSOLUTELY USELESS COMPANY. I would give 0 starts if I could.

Avoid this company!

Package arrived in 4 days from a UK address. The item did not fit and material was poor quality. I asked to return the product which I had numerous emails back trying to offer me 10% then 30% off the price if I kept the product. Which I refused I was then sent an address to send the product back which is in China. I had to pay the costs £31! I had emailed asking why I was sending a package to China that had clearly came from the UK. I have now been blocked from sending emails to their address. I don't expect a refund from the company but luckily I ordered it through Klarna so had only paid a small amount before I claimed a return with them.
AVOID this company at all costs.

Ordered an item from Zapaka on 5th Feb 2024. Contacted them 13th Feb to arrange return of item which did not fit. Zapaka confirmed return address on 15th Feb (I had to pay EXPENSIVE return costs). Warehouse my order was shipped from in UK but return address in China?! Sent numerous follow up emails over the past 4 months asking when I will receive my refund. No response at all from Zapaka since 15th Feb when they confirmed I could return my item. Have now reported them due to awful service and withholding my refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

I am still waiting for a dress I ordered in April for my daughter’s prom , it’s been returned to sender. I’ve emailed numerous times asking for a full refund , I’ve just been offered 40% refund on a £140 dress, DO Not order from these cowboys. I have never dealt with such bad customer service . I want a full refund so i can purchase a dress from a legitimate company
