It does leave you with one cent often even if you have completed the survey. Seems not to be very transparent. Not just today but many times this has happened to me. And also it leaves you stuck right before you are about to cash out. I am using this app since long ago and this has always been the case.

This app is a scam. Don’t waste your time. It will be months of bs and terrible customer service

Don't bother signing up with them. There are plenty of other paying survey sites.

I signed up, started completing surveys, first dodgy manoeuvre-
You can cash out at 5$, got to 5 dollars, they move the goal posts to $7.50, get to this target, its moved again to $10.
I reach $10 after a sh*t load of surveys,
Great, I can cash out, linked my PayPal, then your supposed to get a 4 digit code sent to your email to confirm your email for the PayPal transaction.

No code! After numerous tries, no code.
So I get in touch with zap.

I get an email from them after 3 days saying we have received your email and will be in touch in due course.

Have heard nothing after 4 days. Sorry, nobody is that busy. Unless it's it 2 or 3 people.

If you want to work your butt off for nothing, these guys will work it for you, and work it dry!

They get $300 to $1500 dollars on one survey after they have sold on your personal details. So take heed, you will get milked for nothing.

So in a nutshell, Zap Surveys gives you empty pockets and a sore butt.

You are asked to add personal details to get more surveys. But when you do, nothing happens. You’re just sent back to the same page.

There are hardly ever any surveys. If you do manage to find and complete one, you’re usually not paid for it. They make up some excuse after you’ve completed it, which stings even more when you’ve spent 40 min on a survey. You can’t reach customer support from the app and there’s no contact information available.

There are very few games/offers and none of them work.

Getting even one payout can take months and there’s no guarantee you’ll ever get there, or that the pay out will ever reach your account.

This is a complete waste of time. Steer clear!

Went to cash out only to find that they need to verify your I'd which doesn't get verified so they blocked my account after I wasted all that time doing surveys

I was blocked and I even don't know why , nobody is talking to you from the app admins . If you have to talk with someone from the app , you don't get any answers. Don't download it's worthless

My account was hacked and compromised. I got an email alert on my computer that I got compromise this morning so I go on the app and my account was blocked. They kept my money I had over eight dollars in the account avoid this company is a scam they will keep your money and block you and not send you a message. No email no text of the reason why your account is blocked. I’m filing a class action lawsuit on this company for keeping my money. And Better Business Bureau as well and a civil complaint the attorney general. Date: 3/22/25. Time: 10pm from: Christina.

Conclusion is that it’s a scam website and company just using you to do surveys so that they get to keep the money for your work.

I do a lot of survey sites and as this one was half way to a cashout I decided to put the time and effort in (wish I could get that back) and reach the threshold. Well I did that and it won't let me cashout. Just keeps saying there is an error when I try and connect to PayPal.

Really wonder why I have to connect it through which involves my email and password. They only need my PayPal email like other sites do.

This is not a legitimate site and I wish I had come here first.

I have changed my PayPal credentials to be on the safe side.

Avoid this app, you won't get paid and there could even be a security risk. Not worth it.

Been With This The Worst Survey Site I've Signed Up With For Near A Year, Manage To Get 1 Payout And Thought I'd Keep As An Insanely Slow Payer, On 5th Feb 2025 Went To Cashout, And They're Claiming Strange Behaviour On The Account And Requires Unlike Any Other Survey Site Major ID, In Spite Of My Details Being With Them And Bleating It's Because It's Costing Them Revenue, The BS Is Something I Suspected Some Time Ago Of Their Possible Being Identity Thefts By The Site! I've Just Closed My Account They Can Stuff My Earnt $10.60! Major ID For Surveys Sounds Way Dodgy!

Low payouts for surveys. They let you fill them out for 20-30 minutes and then shut it off and say you don’t qualify and give you 1 or 2 cents. Terrible customer service. Very hard to get a hold of.

Not great guys. The surveys are in the 15 minutes for 15 pence brackets and takes a while to get to $!0. It said I could use it in the UK. Its very much a one reward cash out and move on to another site. When I finally got my $10 for Amazon it loaded the vouchers to Amazon US so I cant spend them. And my Amazon account was locked down when Zap linked to my Amazon account to pay up. I would avoid this like the plague.

I've tried to withdraw $10, 6 months ago and the locked me out so I couldn't withdraw. I've wrote customer service several times, with no answer

This zapsurvey is a joke. Don’t waste a minute on it. It won’t let me cash out it says submit ID fraudulent activity. I tried and it won’t except ID and they completely blocked my account. They owe me $10.83. Won’t let me off page just keeps saying submit identity. And to contact them but how? I’m stuck on that page. I guess they think they are keeping my money. They are horrible!!!!

I registered and started taking surveys. When I was close to the minimum $10 cashout threshold, they blocked my account for no reason.

I sent them a message, and they still haven't replied.

Don't waste your time with these scamming clowns.

I had been using zap for a while and had cashed out a few times had my paypal account verified and all. Then suddenly i go to cash out again and there suddenly “suspicious activity “ on my account and sends me to verification process and i submit my id and a selfie and all snd they say rhey cannt complete the process and to contact them. And suspended my account. I contacted then via email and all they say is that process could not be completed and they permanently suspended my account! No answers or reasons as to why or no solution ls offered to fix it and nothing ab the money that was owed to me! They should not even be allowed to operate anymore!!!! Im livid!!!!
