Highly recommend Zest Car rental 👌
We have used Zest car rental for several years 3-4 times a year, very easy to book and good prices.When stuck at Lisbon airport due to new system making us very late for car pick-up they sorted it out with hire company, so car was still waiting for us.
Another Company a few years ago didn't hold the car because flight was late so when we arrived we had to hire another car at more expense, obviously we never used them again.
Highly recommend Zest 👌

Strange though in this day and age that they were reluctant to accept a Tesco credit card, saying that Tescos were a 'digital bank'! Most banks are!

This is Reimbursement Insurance.. you will pay for damages upfront
Zest will cover there insurance promises but is a secondary insurance and if damage is done during rental you will need to pay upfront to car rental company and then at a later date get reimbursed by Zest. You are NOT exempt from paying for damages at time of return.

I like to drive abroad when on holiday , and I contacted zest who sorted everything out for me , the price was great the pick up and drop of at Faro airport was faultless, no credit card charges and no hassle on the return of the car,
I would highly recommend this company for your driving abroad.

Canada trip/ Kia Seltos from Thrifty.
I hired a car for a trip in Canada - rocky mountains to Banff from Vancouver and back - and as I always do I booked through Zest.
Very easy process and took out their extra insurance cover just in case!
I have never had a problem picking car up or returning so cannot comment on having to make a claim in the event of anything untoward happening but have faith that Zest would not make any claims process difficult.
The company I used for the actual car hire (Zest are a 3rd party) was Thrifty Gold and all was very good with pick up and drop off. Staff were very good and the vehicle was as new with the only complaint being that it was a Kia Seltos rather than a Toyota RAV4 - an equivalent Kia would be the Sportage -minor complaint as the Seltos was a 4x4 and was very good.

Always reliable service
Always reliable service. I have used Zest since its inception. The only negative is the charge for out of hours collection which is steep especially if you pay it for collection and return as we did last year. This year only paid on arrival as had day time return flight. A loyalty reward would be nice ?
