I had previously given a one star review because of issues with ordering and delivery. It took for a second parcel with the correct postcode on it to push Hermes into delivering both parcels at the same time just over a month after ordering. This issue was caused because I live in a new build property and the correct postcode was not yet in the address software the zoetech system uses. After one false start with one of the customer service people, Tahlia was very helpful with finally getting my purchase to me.
Anyway, all that aside the blanket itself is good and so far it is helping to relieve some of my symptoms. I’m using this as my body doesn’t efficiently break down histamine and the heat helps purge the excess from my muscles. During the summer, sun exposure helps with this process but winter in Scotland is long and I need help getting through it.
For visualisation purposes, it is more of chunky plastic sleeping bag than a blanket, which has Velcro along all of the seams except for the neck, where you have wide velcro shoulder straps. One thing I would add though is the controls for the heat are at the wrong end of the blanket. It’s quite a heavy/stiff material but very comfortable if you stay still. But if you have to sit up and try to bend down to the controls at the foot of the blanket to change the temperature you have to un-Velcro yourself to do that. My husband is often with me when I’m using the blanket and he does that for me now to save me the struggle. You absolutely need to wear thin cotton clothing and socks inside as it gets too hot for bare skin. Also you get too sweaty and you get stuck to the plastic inner if you’re not wearing clothing. You’d have to have good circulation for this. I got up to the max temperature the other day and my husband told me after I had bright red lines on my back after from the heating elements. They did fade the following day and I’ve not found any sore spots yet from minor burns or anything, so it’s fine for me. The reason I mention the circulation point is that I was going to order one for my diabetic mother in law but I’m not sure it would be safe for her with the circulation problems? I think this is also going to be really useful when I have hurt my back, on a lower, non sweaty temperature - perhaps that would be a safer setting for those with circulation issues? Overall, the product was worth the wait and its really going to help me get through next winter.

After developing neuropathy in my feet and legs, I undertook various therapies; supplements from my naturopath, detox pads, a shakti mat and the tens machine on my feet, which seemed to offer some relief. Even though the oncologist said it was irreversible, after 2 weeks, I noticed there was improvement. Walking the beach and swimming also help. Every day there seems to be more improvement. I use the tens in the evening, at the end of the daywhich seems to be the best for me.

I love the blanket… it helps me heaps with all over body pain and while the original product needed replacing due the back of the wires not being secured, they replaced it with a new one and I’m again loving the affect on my very aching body!

My blanket came with parts missing. The package was not sealed. I can’t use the blanket as the plug is missing. There is no number for customer service and my email has not been answered!!

It’s been nearly 3 weeks now, when will I receive my blanket? I’ve had replies from your customer service saying it MIGHT be shipped this week I would like a solid answer so I’m not emailing and chasing you everyday.
I’ve been told you’ve had an issue with your distributions is the issue in the UK or AU?
Is my parcel coming from the UK or Australia because Australian customs have massive backlogs so if it’s coming from there I know I won’t be getting it anytime soon.

Bombarded me with offers in order to get me to complete a purchase that they knew they had no way of fulfilling. I paid for expidited and insured delivery. A week later I contacted then asking where my Infrared Sauna blanket was. They informed me they had been let down by distributer and were working on sorting out another distributer and that I might get my blanket in the next week or so. If you know you can't fulfil orders you shouldn't take sales especially in the run up to Christmas. I wish I had went with Mihigh when I had a £75 discount offer!
