ZoomFish Gadgets 

Zoomfish refused to honour the quoted price for my iPad, never gave me any money for it and have never returned to me. I have been chasing for over 3 months with no response from the company whatsoever. Incredibly underhanded and illegal practices.

I was originally quoted £90 for my Apple iPad 2 - the best quote I found anywhere. On receiving the iPad, Zoomfish said they couldn't actually buy it at that price because it had been engraved. I was given the choice to either accept a revised price that was about £75 lower (!), or have the iPad returned to me. I asked for it to be returned... and never heard from them again.

My iPad has not been sent back to me - it has not ended up at the sorting office or had a failed delivery, nor have I received any money at all. I have emailed, called their customer support and even taken to twitter trying to chase this up. Three months on and I've heard nothing at all from them. When I log in to my Zoomfish account the transaction is simply marked as "void". I've lost an iPad and gained nothing. The customer service has been non-existent. I would never ever recommend anyone sends their electronic devices to this company.

Got quoted 104 pounds for my iPad which was immaculate in every way. Not so much as a fingerprint on that thing! When they received it they said it was "chipped and scratched" and would only pay me 90 pounds! I think their business model is to quote higher than everyone else and then knock you down in the hope that you will just accept the lower quote for an easy life. To be fair, they did send my iPad back very quickly and they always responded to emails. Just be aware - highest quote isn't always the best option.

Was offered £34 online for a mint condition IPad 16Gb Wifi, without explanation was requoted £21 instead... wish I had gone to Music Magpie who offered £30. Lesson learned.

They quoted £97 for my iPad. Which I thought was a good price.
When it arrived at them they then offered £20 as it had a cracked screen. I had packaged it well loads of bubble wrap, padded envelope etc...

I refused the offer and they said they would send my iPad back. When I check where my iPad was , as I had not received it back. My account was saying they where sending payment. I contacted them by email. To which they responded to say send money back and they would send my iPad back.

I sent money back promptly, I got an email back saying my iPad would be back with me on the 30th November. Guess what I still do not have my iPad back and no one is answering the phone (always a message to say too busy) even when you cal at different times in the day.. E mails are not getting responded to now.

This company are a shocking. They have my iPad and there money back. I have nothing.

The purchase of my old phone, by ZoomFish gadgets went perfectly and I would recommend them to all.

Tried to reduce the price of my offer with some bogus problem with the phone " reddish burn out on digitiser " nothing wrong with the phone at all, I'd sooner use it as a paper weight than let them scam me.

If something is too good to be true it usually is…

Waited over 5 hours for my acc to change status to item delivered. I called constantly throughout the day to get an update, no one answered.
Then when I sent a very demanding email all of a sudden my acc status changed & got an email to confirm my IPad had arrived then they reduced the quoted by £30 claiming the wall plug wasn’t the correct one also it having a scratch on the back (what a load of rubbish) it was in perfect condition

Please avoid the company as you will be disappointed & most likely out of pocket

Very satisfied. Got a quote on line, requested and received postal bag within a couple of days, sent off tablet and then received email confirmation of figure quoted All within 10 days.

Did what they said they would

I should have gone with my gut feeling before deciding to go with this company, in the past I have always used mazumma and never had a issue with them but this time, as zoomfish were offering more for my phone and me being confident that my phone met there grading criteria for a working phone, I sent it by recorded delivery.

I tracked my delivery and it was delivered at 8.06 this morning and signed for, it took over 6 hours for my status on my account to change from awaiting delivery to processing and then within 1 minute it changed to revised offer and the reason behind it ( badly dented and scuff on the back ).

As I had done my research before, I had taken photographs of my phone before posting it, which I have should anyone one to see it. The phones are to be recycled, so unless they are selling them on, what should it matter if there is some fair wear and tear? they cannot expect brand new phones.

They need to revise there grading text and offer lower amounts in the first place.

My phone offer went from £241 to £171 when mazzuma and envirofone offering £220 and that's with general wear and tear.

The fact that this company does not answer its phone, does not respond to e-mails should be enough for it to be investigated.

I have contacted Trading Standards and am waiting a crime number from the police.

Their website also says that they return the phone immediately if I do not accept, I have been told 14 days now, with it being Christmas, I hold no faith that it would be before Christmas that I get it back.

Do not use this company and I will update you once my investigation is completed with Trading Standards, I will make sure their trading license is revoked and they are shamed on watchdog unless they do what they say and not try to scam people.

Offered a very good deal for my iPad and paid up immediately into bank account. I have used other companies and often is reduced when they receive item claiming poor condition. I would therefore recommend zoomfish wholeheartedly

Would never use this company again, offered £118 for iPhone 5s, then said there was a deep scratch on screen and marks on back, total load of rubbish! My phone wasn't that old and was kept in a cover, didn't bother to argue cause I thought I'd get a phone back with a scratch down the screen and wouldn't be able to sell it.

Very easy to use and fast payment. Would definitely recommend.
