Good service

Great prices offered, but misleading information regarding postage costs.

A "guide" to postage cost was given, but in order to send the product as Recorded / Special delivery is significantly more than stated. Apart from this, it's a great hassle free service. Good communication and turn-around times, but I didn't receive "same day" payment, also as advertised.

Quick and efficient process

Unlike other companies I have used in this area they said what price they would pay and honoured it. Very easy to work with and process was smooth.

REQUOTE SCAM!

This seems to be a common complaint with many people using ZoomFish, they quote you a price on their website, you send your flawless gadget in and when they receive it, they send you a lower requote with fake damage that doesn't exist, then on top of that, they are impossible to get hold of, they do not pick up the phone or reply emails, I've even tried to contact them on their Facebook page and nothing. My quote is still in limbo and I would like to speak to someone to have this sorted ASAP. If this isn't sorted in 48 hours, I'll be contacting Trading Standards. I have so far declined the quote and now on their website, my status says 'Requote Accepted' when I haven't accepted anything. I won't let this go so I ask ZoomFish respectfully to contact me to have this issue resolved ASAP.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I received payment for a different item to the one I sent. Said payment said the item had lost value but gave no reason as to why. I've tried contacting ZFG numerous times through numerous means, but had no response. AVOID!!!

Very disappointing

You would think you would learn as you get older, but have been caught again with a promise of a good price for an Ipad2 of £93. They then came up with a figure of £55 as it had 'multiple noticeable scratches to screen and worn back casing, marked side casing' There was not a mark on the screen as it had a protector on from day 1, and, yes, there were a few scratches on the back, nothing that would affect the performance! and nothing more than you would expect after 5 years of use. Decided to accept the £55 for fear of receiving the iPad back with 'multiple noticeable scratches to the screen' and hence unsaleable. Well you live and learn...another one put down to experience!

BEWARE!!!

I wish I had read some of the reviews before sending my iphone 6+ they reduced the price as they said it had noticable screen burn, whatever that is supposed to be, this phone had very little use & I had it looked over by someone in the phone business before sending, they said "Game" would have been a better option, I so wish I had taken their advice. Read the reviews before using this service!

Worst company don't do as they say

I hope you think very carefully before using this company. I sent my phone over 8 days ago. Removing from iCloud and resetting back to factory . I was asked to give them my password (really) After several days of continuous emails and constant phone calls(no reply of course) I'm now been charged £19.99 to have my phone returned . I would never deal with a company like this . This is not the last Rip of Britain here I come. C Dandridge

BE WARNED

I'll just make this clear.
I SENT OFF A BRAND NEW IPHONE 6 GOLD 64GB SEALED IN BOX WITH NO USE WHATSOEVER AND NO MARKS WHATSOEVER. FRESH NEW IPHONE FROM APPLE AND I WAS QUOTED £310.

Now for some reason after i sent it off i had a bad feeling and thought I'd come and check the reviews. BAD IDEA. Everyone who has recently sold to this company has been scammed in some way. There are stories of how, phone were re-quoted with a much lower price with made-up damages and it took over 2months to even speak to someone from the company and I knew I'd made a mistake. I sent the phone off on a Thursday, and by the next week Thursday, I still had no response.
THAT SAME DAY PAYMENT IS A COMPLETE LIE.

Don't bother calling them, their phone number is fake and no-one will answer.

However, I never go down without a fight, so I emailed them until they had no choice to respond which is where they then told me their was 'a mistake' as my order had said 'awaiting delivery' for over a week, even though I sent my phone with tracking and Royal mail had said it had been delivered the next day. After some threats of calling the police, they then fulled refunded me the £310 we agreed and called it quits. It was a lucky escape, WOULDN'T RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU HAVE UNLIMITED TIME TO WASTE.

Awful customer service

I sent my iphone off with a quote for £130. Waited a few weeks with no update. I then contacted them via email twice, finally got an answer as my phone was not properly accessible. I did what the email told me to make it right. I then waited 3 more weeks, calling and emailing in this time getting no answer. Eventually got an email saying phone was poor quality and offered a much lower price. I declined the price as phone had no issues except general wera and tear when i sent it. Eventually got my phone back 2 weeks after this. Bad customer service. No answer to contact. Wont be using again! Have sent my phone off to another company and got £127 for it!!!

Absolute Scam

I decided to sell my iPad mini to this company.
I was originally quoted £81 without a charger.
I was quite happy with this offer and therefore sent off for a free post bag.
I sent my iPad and didn't receive any updates for weeks. I then emailed them and to my surprise recieved an email saying I would receive £51 with no explanation as to why it was so low. I told them I did not accept this offer and would like my iPad back. I then recieved a cheque for £51. With three unsuccessful attempts to contact them and no reply, I unwillingly decided to cash the cheque in as I had no other option. I have lost total faith in these companies and will never use one again.

I think trading standards would have a birthday with this scam of a company

Do not use this!

Total con

Do not use this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I used them! They quoted me £107 for my iPad and have just had revised offer of £15 saying screen is damaged! It certainly was not and as it wrapped in thick bubble wrap I can't see that it will be now! They say I won't get it back until 9th May, total rip off

Rubbish and dishonest

What a joke, quoted £104 my iPad mini. Made up none existent damage and requoted at £71. Just like all the others have said, a massive con then they take over 2 weeks to return your item. I was quoted £87 by an honest company - who paid the funds into my account the day they received it. Don't use these dishonest people!!

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Company is appalling.

I have never written a review for an company because i dont have time.

But after my experience with this company, i have too.

Their service is poor. it took them 3 weeks to change the status from processing. So for 3 weeks they were inspecting my phone. Dont know what type of inspection takes 3 weeks.

When i emailed to ask what is happening, no one responded. Emailed again, no response.

Called several times during their open hours and it ran until it went into voicemail.

Finally they responded via email only to tell me they are taking £30 off the original quote. And if i dont accept it, it will take 14 days for them to send my phone back.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SPREAD THE NEWS.

Price reviewed down massively!

As with all the other reviews posted here, I had a perfectly good ipad have the rice reviewed because of so called scratches and damage to the corner. My ipad was NOT damaged at all. The offered £30 less than the original quote but after spending £10 sending it to them and then worried it would be returned with said damage, I felt i had no choice but to accept the lower price and be done with it.

Would not recommend this company to anyone and certainly will not use again!

Price reduced

Not happy. My iPad was always in a case and protected from day 1. It was sent to Zoomfish in its original Apple box, even the original delivery box, yet Zoomfish claimed there to be a chip(!) in one corner - not so! - I think I left a glass screen protector on it and it was that that was perhaps chipped and there was also allegedly 'a mark on the back'? That said they reduced the price by £24 so I simply accepted it but take care! It's hard to argue with them unless you take photos before you post the device off.

Dishonest and without morals

I've been a customer for 3 years and always been treated fairly and been honest with my description. However, my most recent experience has destroyed my trust in Zoomfish. I sent an unused, as new, completely unblemished iPhone 6 that was simply beyond its returns date with my network. It's was sent in thick buggle wrap, in original box, in bubble envelope, by secure next day delivery. YET Zoomfish somehow decided there were scratches on the rear case and a chip in the bottom left hand corner of the phone. Impossible, the only way this could be is if Zoomfish had deliberately caused these imperfections or, lied to pay a lower amount. Reading other reviews I'm now 100% convinced Zoomfish deliberately set out to desieve its customers. Please, anyone who is reading this, do not sell your device to Zoomfish. You will regret doing so. I do.

Avoid ZoomFish Gadgets at all costs!

I was quoted £119 for my iPad 2, which is in perfect condition.

Without question or an option to not enter into a revised offer they just transferred me £71 and refuse to speak to me.

The company is impossible to contact by phone or email.

I highly recommend you do NOT use this company. #getwatchdog

Legit Company

After sending my iPad off Zoomfish I checked the tracking and it showed the device was delivered at the weekend. I left it a full day on Monday but still hadn't heard anything and my online account was still showing "awaiting delivery".

I came here and read some of the reviews and instantly thought I'd been had.

I email and called the number on the site this morning and as people have mentioned, no answer on the phone or response to my email.

I then received an email from Zoonfish saying my item had arrived and they were checking it.

AT 4pm, I received another email saying the payment had been made. I checked the bank and there was the deposit from Zoomfish for the amount stated when I sent the iPad off.

I thought that given the amount of reviews saying its a scam I better add that from my experience, Zoomfish are a legit company, albeit a little slow to let you know they have your device - certianly not 'same day' anyway.

Absolute rip off! Avoid at all costs

I so wish I had read these reviews before sending my phone to them. What a con.
Offer a brilliant price on their website then once they receive the phone they offer half the price saying its faulty!!
The phone is in perfect condition or at least was when I sent it, I took pictures before posting it so we will see how it comes back to me!
How can this company be allowed to trade under such conditions! It's disgusting! Is there any way that we can get trading standards involved or watchdog! Please don't use DoomFish for selling you device, search up "phone recycle" which will take you to a comparison site with company ratings, funny that Zoomfist aren't on there!

PLEASE AVOID ZOOMFISH FOR SELLING YOUR GADGET. Complete con artists!!

Liars, stole phone

Sent them my iPhone 5s and iPad Air on the same day st the same time via the same post office. I believe it's a one man band. Now my iPad was delivered and re priced 30 pounds less due to mysterious scratches - my iPad had been in its case from birth.

Now when I queried my iphone Steve claimed it had never been received although he received the iPad sent with phone. I believe this company is a scam. They reel you in with big quotes then drastically reduce it. And if you reject their offer they tell you it will take 14 days before they can send you the item back.

This a complete scam I suggest no one buy from them.
