I placed an order on the 25/12/2021. I was told it wasn't in stock, but they kept my money anyway.
As of the 13/02/2022 it still has not arrived.
I keep being told it will be dispatched soon. I have asked for my money back on three occasions.
I was also mislead to believe 1001 hobbies was based in the UK. It is actually based in France.
Pure robbery.
Advertises stock they do not have and endlessly delays providing refund of the order.
Very poor do not use.
Ordered 2 items from this supplier on 15th December as a Christmas gift for my son. Listed as 3-5 day delivery. Tried to phone and email when Christmas approached. They wouldn’t answer the phone or respond to my emails. Items finally arrived from France on the 29th December. I paid extra for gift wrapping that was appalling. I will never use 1001 hobbies ever again.
Shame I had to order from this company as I couldn't get what I wanted from a UK company at the time. Abysmal customer service, one item shows as despatched but no tracking and emails to them go unanswered. It might have a .co.uk web address but it's all done in France. Now onto my bank to get a charge back underway as clearly these clowns are a sham.
Been waiting over 4 months for refund of my money..how is this possible ? No answers from email sent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I ordered a model kit on the 11th Jan 21 and have not received it, it is now 1st Feb 21.
I have emailed/messaged using the website, twice and I called the telephone no' on the website only to receive a recorded message in French, to request my money for the kit and postage to be returned to my account. I have not heard back from them.
The kit has not been picked up by Hermes. I will be looking into reporting this company to trading standards. I am not very happy.
Overall, did what it said on the tin, large choice of kits, arrived as expected. A little more care with the packing of the items would have been time well spent, as one of them, a sheet metal kit, arrived bent, but fixable.

Two weeks after paying i haven't heard from them.
I emailed them, that's been ignored. Is this the wonderful customer service of which they boast? Items in stock according to website but website has shown it as unavailable since. No contact or refund. Ignoring customers is surely the worst way to deal with them.
Looks like my payer will have to withdraw my payment.
I am totally disgusted by them. Why not treat customers with respect.
How can they expect repeat custom?
Unless you want to lose money and be ignored do not buy from them.Their prices are very high and i was only using them as the item was scarce. Buy from sellers you know you can trust.
