What a great idea to get a loan from

Very poor, I provided them with all my details upfront. They advised that they would do all the underwriting first. I provided them with a solid guarantor only to be refused the loan 4 days later . What a waste of time 😒

Clear instructions. Great new concept that doesnt just look at credit score. Friendly, understanding website, yet very professional. So far so good!

Doesn't clearly state that you need a guarantor. Was led to believe I was applying for a personal loan. Very disappointed

The agent that rang ,had a accent that was difficult to understand and whenever I tried to explain that I couldn’t understand here.She just said sorry we are not continuing with your application.

I wouldn’t recommend my family or friends to this company nor will i ever try again.
The first time my guarantor was declined so they didn’t call me to ask any questions. I tried again and my other guarantor was accepted. they text and email to say ‘good news’ you will receive a call and get your loan paid out within 24 hours. THEN, i got a call and the woman was rude about when asking about my pay. To then.. getting a email saying it’s been declined.
They lied about being approved and receiving the money.
Will never recommend this company it’s a joke.
They also need to train their staff on how to talk to people disgusting.

I applied for a loan, my guarantor got declined. I kindly called up to ask what I needed for my guarantor to be approved to be meet with the rudest women I have ever spoken to in my life shouting to say put someone else on the phone. It’s very sad to have been speaking to such a horrible mannered human being. Extremely upset and think you need to do some staff training with a women I spoke with today.

Don’t trust them in the slightest. Woman on the phone was rude and poorly trained. Avoid.

I’ve had no issues with this company up until a couple months before my loan was due to finish. I called before 1 of my payments were due and explained I was having issues with my wages from work and if they would delay the payment for a couple days which they agreed to do. I was also advised to cancel my direct debit, that way it wouldn’t try to come off my account. 2 days after the loan was due to come off I called to make the payment and was told it was already paid, I checked my online banking and I never noticed it came off the day before (1 day after it was due). I was told by 1plus1loans even tho I cancelled my direct debit, it doesn’t matter because they had my bank details on their system to go in and do a manual payment. This is shocking and should not be allowed, I clearly stated I needed a couple days to sort my wages out and thankfully I did eventually get paid but what if I didn’t? I would’ve been in overdraft. Other than this, good company and friendly/polite enough staff. Just shouldn’t be allowed to do manual payments through customers accounts, should be illegal to be honest.

Honestly, dont bother.. say they accept you - say they accept your guarantor - then decline you for the loan even though you can afford repayment. Should do all the affordability assessments first and ask all the questions then instead of building up hope when guarantor is acceptable.
