Used car bought from this dealership and took straight to my local garage to have a quick check over for my peace of mind.
37 fault codes found stored in the ECU for the HVAC system alone which prompted more investigation. HVAC system faulting and not working as it should. High voltage charging fault and not charging as it should. No data was being received by the vehicle making over air updates impossible. Onboard operating system back dated to a significantly older software to hide lack of usability.
Dealership notified immediately and have made no attempt to repair or replace. Just pushed me towards the warranty I purchased at cost. £2k in repairs so far to make the vehicle work as intended.
Please get your vehicle checked by a professional if you have bought from here. The pre-inspection isn’t worth the paper they print it on

I purchased a car from 1 Stop Car Sales and was sold an Autoguard warranty, which was presented as comprehensive cover for major faults. After a £2,000+ repair, I discovered the warranty excludes key components and isn't even FCA-regulated. I was misled into thinking this was a proper insurance-backed warranty. I’ve had to escalate the matter and go through a lot of stress. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

I purchased a vehicle from 1 Stop Car Sales along with an Autoguard EVOLVED warranty, which I was told would protect me from major mechanical faults. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.

When my car developed a significant suspension fault only a few months later, the warranty provider (Autoguard) rejected the claim based on exclusions that were never clearly explained to me at the time of sale. I was not told the warranty was unregulated by the FCA, and key limitations like refusal to cover structural suspension failures were not disclosed.

I have attempted to raise a complaint with 1 Stop Car Sales directly, but all listed email addresses (including the complaints email address) bounce back as undeliverable. This raises serious concerns about how they handle customer service or accountability after the sale, particularly in cases where financial loss is involved.

It’s extremely disappointing to be left in this situation with no proper channel of communication and no support for a product they sold me in good faith.

If you're considering purchasing anything through this dealership, be careful!
I am now escalating this matter to the Motor Ombudsman and seeking further legal advice.

Used 1 Stop Car Sales to purchase a new car. Was served by a gentleman called Jay who was great and managed to secure us a car with no hassle, made us feel welcome and even enabled us to drive away the same day. Will be back in the futre

Jay was awesome, great customer experience. Jay was very helpful and ensured we felt at ease and comfortable.. Very easy to see the car, try the car and to buy the car.. great experience would defo recommend..

If you want the peace of mind of buying a well presented serviced vehicle with a suitable warranty then avoid. Cars do not come newly serviced but you can pay for one! Beware of warning lights coming on following purchase which have seemingly previously been turned off! evidenced by someone's failure to replace the plastic inlay properly.
Aftersales very difficult, the guy I needed was always moving cars, I advised that I would hold but apparently more cars needed moving.
V5 never did arrive, diagnosed fault was £300 which we finally got back having to threaten rejection. There is alot of pressure by the staff to sell you a very expensive warranty, a simple "no" will not suffice and you will be advised how expensive faults on cars are to repair. Sadly not an experience that inspired any confidence and would not return.

AVOID at all costs.

If speaking to Daniel make sure you have evidence of conversation as he provides false information over the phone. Especially about reservations and stating cars will be ready when they aren’t meaning you do then lose out on purchases and it’s misleading or you have to return the next day or later that week.
The garages main ethos is let’s sell you a warranty package not let’s try and make sure you are purchasing the right car.
Their favourite line is ‘sorry he’s just with a customer at the moment’, ‘sorry they aren’t available they’ve left for the day or haven’t arrived yet we will get them to call you back’. No call is ever received back.
They have little to no accurate knowledge of the cars and it’s all about making a sale to get it gone without any care especially if you aren’t interested in purchasing warranty. To the point of telling you inaccurate information.
They choose not to reply to calls or to stick to their word which is very dishonest and unprofessional.
Overall, it’s better to go elsewhere, there have been a number of negative reviews and they have had very similar experiences.

Terrible experience they are only interested in selling their warranty and finance your vehicle plz do not buy there warranty and it’s good for nothing if don’t want to regret it you will only here term and condition apply or Thai not cover in warranty (note ) when there selling warranty they will say everything covered but that is catch if you really want to buy vehicle from them only get the car not warranty or finance

Visit on Sunday must admit the person I spoke to was very friendly and polite. A South African, the car viewed was a nice model for its age. The problem I had was when turning the car over warning lights came up for all 4 tyres along with service due. Now any reasonable garage would have it serviced for you to clinch a sale. My problem was the next service the timing chain/cam belt would need changing. They wanted £399 for a service and I know a belt change can cost anything from £700 tom £1500. They are supposed to have their own mechanics, I did e mail them saying these were the reason I would not be buying the car. I also suggested fix the belts then I would be back. No response what so ever. Obviously making enough money not to give good customer service, no skin of their nose to at least reply.

I hadn't even made it home, and the engine warning light came on in my £17,000 Jaguar E-Pace. When I contacted the dealership, they acted like they didn’t know it was an issue. It feels like they just reset the engine light and hoped I’d buy their extended warranty package—one I chose not to purchase. Thankfully, I got a full refund, but the customer service was appalling. The staff were dishonest, and I wouldn’t recommend doing business with this company.

Really good experience from initial enquiry to collection and after sales. Danny was really good plus after sales staff too and no pushy sales tactics with us tbh. Will be recommending to friends and family and would have no problem using again.

Fantastic service, no pushy salespeople.
Beth was helpful and very professional, and due to this, I purchased a car.
But that is where the great service ended, and I am still waiting for the promised service history. It took the 3 weeks to pay off my previous finance company, and I sent 2 emails and did not receive a reply. Called twice, very unhelpful, promised a call back still waiting.
If I had known the after service was like this, I would have stayed clear of these people.

Completely mixed review, we were met by Daniel on arrival, really lovely salesman. I fell in love with a car and booked an appointment for the following Saturday to test drive it. Appointment booked at 10:30am, we waited practically all day to be told that the car wasn’t ready as the seats needed to be repaired so I wasn’t even able to test drive it. Which was fine although if they would have said this at 10:30am I wouldn’t have waited around on my only day off for the whole day 🙃 I said I would come back the following week. They still did checks for finance despite me saying I would not reserve the car until I had test drove it. Daniel was understanding however another man (possibly the manager) became really pushy, asking that I leave a non refundable deposit to reserve the car despite me saying “I’m not 100% on the car until I’ve driven it I don’t want to commit in case I don’t like it”. This gave me major red flags and I walked away. Got a text a week later, informing me of new cars being available, I explained to them that because they had done various searches on my credit score without me even purchasing a car and despite me saying “I do not want to commit to this car without test driving it and I’d rather get finance through my bank”, my credit score had lowered I was assured they’d be able to remove those searches as they were “only soft searches”. We went there on the Saturday, we ended up being seen by the pushy manager, we looked around, none of the cars are in good condition, they’ve all got scratches and marks all over them.

Long story short: DON’T BOTHER
