I am very happy with the service…
I am very happy with the service received from this company. They were very professional when they attended my recent lock failure.
My only gripe is there is a hole left in the door handle of my patio door where they had to drill into to gain entry. At the time I never noticed this but I feel this should have been sorted at the time or mentioned, otherwise a good professional service.

I locked myself out of the house and went straight to google where I found 24 locksmith, I called on a Saturday about 3:30PM and got the confirmation they can come within an hour. I waited outside and in about a hour the locksmith showed up and he started immediately to work on the door and managed to get it opened. Very professional and job really well done.

Kinda feel like I’ve been conned
Kinda feel like I’ve been conned? Whilst the ‘locksmith’ came quickly and completed the work (I’d locked my keys in my flat) he went straight to drilling the lock and wouldn’t tell me how much it would cost as he needed to see what was inside, and of course by the time he’s drilled the lock and I’m inside my flat he charged me £750 total for the work. Whilst I appreciate it was 20.00 on a Saturday this feels extortionate for what took the man 30 minutes. An expensive lesson learned…

Whilst I appreciate that you received such locksmith service I would like to assure you that it wasn't provided by us, we would never refuse to give costs before opening a door, our locksmiths are professionals and know exactly which lock is on the door, there is no such thing as to "see what's on the inside" - everything is visible as soon as the locksmith sees the lock from the outside. I would also like to point out that we do not have anything that's even close to such extortionate costs for a locksmith service, no matter if it's a saturday, sunday, day or night, such prices are never charged by us. Sadly, there are a couple of locksmith scammer companies going around and it seems you have unfortunately come across one of them.
I have already made a request for your details so I can send you our companies name, details, website etc - we are GLSS ltd and all of our details are provided on the electronic receipts we send out.
I would like to ask you to please delete the above review as it defames our reputation and is misleading to any future customers. Thank you for your understanding and I am happy to provide any details of our company to you so you are sure that your review is about a different business.
