Awful customer service

Awful customer service - in fact customer service does not exist - dont be fooled by the initial experience through sales staff - any problems with your purchase ,( in our case a brand new £116,000 MH), which you want to take further due to lack of customer service you will be faced with perceived threatening emails from them and subsequently their solicitors. We have learnt the hard way - hindsight - should have taken heed of the poor reviews and ignored the few positives - following our issues and talking to people with MH ‘s, the amount of people who have said they stayed clear of this place due to local reputation- I have not heard from anyone with problems speak positively about them.
If there was a choice I would give it a minus 5 stars .

If you value a genuine caring customer service post sale - do not go anywhere near this place

AVOID AVOID AVOID

If I could give no stars that would be a bonus. Issues with caravan from 2016 to present day!

I would keep your hard earned money and run for the hills and not hand anything over to these cheating, lying so and so's
Will sell sand to the sandman but the minute you need any help in after sales you get possibly the worst service ever...
Ignored emails
Lies upon lies
Not sticking to time scales
Shoddy repair work the list goes on
AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!

Terrible service

Terrible service ! Bought 2nd hand motorhome in October‘24, collection on my 8th Nov, drove an hr to get only for it not be ready and nobody knew anything about it! Came back a week later and work that had been promised hadn’t been completed so had to bring back (feb was earliest getting it in) To be fair 3as returned our motor to us so we didn’t have to drive. We then discover internal electrics not working, so after a though check of all fuses etc, we contacted 3as and they said to bring back. So we did. April 23rd. Was assured that vehicle would be back within week, explained that we had holiday booked for June 1st in vehicle. Assured it would be back in plenty of time. I reiterated what the problem was every time I called for an update. at no point did they call us to update us and finally 5 weeks later!!!!! and despite many conversations, told several different excuses by different ppl, we drove down to collect her.
Guess what, internals not fixed!!!!! Instead they had repaired lights at the back?! Gutted because we now have to cancel our holiday, husband lost a days wage by coming to collect vehicle, dogs were going in kennels etc. we took two weeks off for this trip. I am so cross I can’t express it. Guy we spoke to doing the handover had no idea. Now got wait til Monday for someone to call us . Thinking of legal action

Excellent warranty work at 3A’s

We had an appointment at 3A’s leisure yesterday for warranty work
We had dialogue with carol on several occasions before the appointment she was extremely efficient and accommodating
we were met promptly by her and the technician
The work was completed to an excellent standard.
A very friendly thorough service.
We would highly recommend 3A’s leisure Carmarthern

What a shambles of a company ,

What a shambles of a company ,I brought a new motorhome from them ,the salesman couldn't do the handover ,so another person done and he done his best ,but never went into much details about it ,then I was handed nover to another person to do the paperwork ,he never knew what alarm system fitted or a tracker fitted , couldn't insure it because the registration wasn't on the gov website ,had to come back the next day after ringing DVLA and they said it wasn't registered ,rang 3A's again at 9 am and then finally they gave me a another registration number and so I could insure it ,A totally disappointed experience ,and I don't think they check the vehicles before you pick them up because the first day home I have found simple faults that should of been picked up by them .

Was conned handing over £500 holding fee…

Was conned into handing over £500 fully refundable holding fee. which I have not had back despite many calls. Sale did not go ahead because of warrantee issues and fridge opening the wrong way. So glad I didn't buy from these guys. hope this review will trigger refund.

Poor Experience, time wasted

Looking to replace our Motorhome. The visit to 3a’s started off promising. All cans for sale were open, and no sale staff following you around. We had our Motorhome with us. Sales staff then gave us a part ex price and deal was discussed.
Dealer then telephoned after we had left to say they looked in the wrong van and appraised the wrong van. Then emailed to say they didn’t want our van in part exchange as they had a few already. My question, why waste our time, we should have been told that while we were there for 2 hrs and once I informed them of our Motorhome details. I was then told they could offer a trade price. I replied with some questions and never had a reply.
I wouldn’t be rushing to spend 1000’s on a new van at 3a’s. The words right hand and left hand come to mind !

Excellent Excellent Excellent

I would like to give a big thanks to all the staff at 3As leisure vehicles Carmarthen South Wales . The people are a credit to the leisure industry and quality resource for the Swift badge . I recently bought a secondhand Swift Kontiki from them and I can honestly say that they went above and beyond to make us welcome and make sure that everything was to our liking regarding the vehicle . From Chris the salesman to Steven in service and admin to Wayne the engineer . It would be fair to say that Steven wouldn’t stop until everything was to our satisfaction and Wayne what he doesn’t know about Motorhome/ caravans isn’t worth knowing . But be wary he likes to chat we were there that long talking about his family our family and interests that I honestly thought he came with the van. Buy a motorhome and get a Wayne free .
If anyone from Swift are reading this review this firm are a credit to the badge .
We travelled a long way to view the vehicle and were not disappointed. They have a great cafe accessory shop and show room .

Swift Panasonic sunroof

Had a problem with a cracked Panasonic sunroof and a decal ,they did an amazing job , very professional and good communications .even though the caravan was out of warranty Swift approved the repair. Thank you to the team at 3as leisure.

Not checked properly before handover

Purchased new Laika Kreos Oct 24: Handover rushed, couple of issues on collection, which meant it had to go back to dealer after a week in Scotland. Whilst on trip, discovered leisure battery wouldn’t hold charge at all, and several other issues. Gone back for 2 weeks still not 100%.

What a difference two years makes with 3As Leisure in Carmarthen!

It is worth my honest effort to explain how I had written a very bad review about 3As Leisure in Carmarthen just recently after my published 5 Star review about the same company over a year ago after purchasing our virtually new Ford Auto-Trail F72 motor home. Yes, technicians were very helpful giving us a good handover. The big difference was how the same people made such a hash of it trying to do straight forward one hour job ! Therefore, I stand by what I wrote most truthfully! Thankfully, we found in Simon who runs Cymru Caravans in Llandarog, who is a member of the NCC, just about 7 miles on A48 from Carmarthen!

Our new motorhome

We collected our new motorhome on 22/10/2024, the hand over was adequate but undertaken quite quickly. On the whole 3As were really good throughout dealing with any queries we had but it was very clear that staff were often very busy, which sometimes impacted response times. Our experience however was most definately enhanced when Stephen became involved, he was very responsve to any enquiries we had and would always ensure we were satisfied with the outcome. He has also provided an excellent customer service post purchase, which I think is always very important. We had a couple of little issues after our first outing, which he dealt with immediately. Big shout out for Stephen!
We are really happy with our new motorhome and look forward to future experiences.

Our motorhome had a serious diesel leak…

Our motorhome had a serious diesel leak while we were in Tenby, The AA could not fix it and all local garages were fully booked for work,so we thought we were stuck ,luckily we phoned 3as garage and there mechanic phoned me straight back and agreed to look at it .The AA transported us to the garage and Phil the mechanic fixed it within 30 minutes,something the AA could not do. Fantastic service ,would recomend phil and 3AS to anyone, he saved our holiday.Thanks Phil

Nice experience all round.

Having just travelled over 7 hours to collect our new motorhome from this company. Have to say what a lovely bunch of people. Steffan was very helpful. And Wayne who did the handover was a gentleman! Feels like you are dealing with a professional family business and that is what we liked. PS Lovely cafe as well ! Long way but worth it. We will more than likely keep using them and book a campsite nearby to make a trip out of it. As it is a lovely part of the country having never been to Wales before we liked it a lot. Thank you. 3.5T Equitrek

I dealt with Stephen in regards to a horse lorry hire, very friendly and good communication making the whole process extremely easy.
The lorry was fantastic in excellent condition and I would highly recommend it.

STAY CLEAR

Don't be fooled by their helpful nature when you are looking to spend! They will take your money with a smile then look out.
I wouldn't buy a wheelbarrow from these clowns!
3 weeks after purchasing a £60k motorhome we had an issue with the suspension. Contacted them and OMG if i did. Even though it was covered by warranty, the attitude I received was unbelievable. If i spoke to my clients this way, I wouldn't have a business.

Started so promising, went downhill fast thanks to Steve (Steven)

After initial viewings at 3 A’s and a conversation with Aled the businesses owner back in June we were waiting on a call back from Steven regarding a loan vehicle to see if motor-homing was for us, as we still still had not heard from anyone we called back this week and Steven told us that he had called us 4 times earlier that day! Amazing as we had no missed calls or messages…..
So we agreed to collect a van for 24 hrs
On collection Steven didn’t even bother to speak with us and left Wil to show us the motorhome and the helpful lady on reception to take payment , at no point did we sign or we’re offered any documents regarding this vehicle and advised to return at 14:00 on Saturday.
Miraculously at 10.30 on Saturday Steven managed to contact us to advise we had to be back at 12:00, inconvenient but we did
On entering the building no one was on reception so I waited a couple of minutes and Steven approached, with a vague look, I explained I was returning this vehicle when he told me to exit the showroom and go to the new building , this I did to find it incomplete and no staff present, I then saw another building nowhere near where he said to go where I spoke with a helpful lady who took me back to this Steven , who proceeded to act like he’d never spoken to me while I showed him the vehicle, he then demanded £30 for fuel as we hadn’t filled the tank, why I enquired as we had never been told this or seen / signed any paperwork work!!!!
His attitude stunk, and frankly there is no way I’d buy a £80,000 motor home from this company or even a £2.00 coffee as the whole experience was disgusting
