I Had an accident in my car which I decided to use my insurance company to authorise my repairs. My preference was to use my car dealer of choice A690 Specialist Cars but my insurance company insisted I used one of their body shop repair centres. I was uneasy doing this but they said I had no choice. I have since found out that this is not the case and I should have been able to go to a bodyshop of choice. After collecting my car from the bodyshop the insurance company said I had to use I drove my car and the drive of the car did not feel right. I took the car to A690 Specialist cars where they inspected the car to find my wheels were loose. The wheel nuts had not been tightened on properly. The only place I trust to look after my car is A690 Specialist cars. I wish I’d insisted to take my car to A690 Specialist cars to have the full repair done. A690 got me in straight away and identified the problem and had me safely back on the road in no time. These guys really are the best

Had a recent great experience buying a car for my son with Noya. They made sure that car was ready in great condition and were very fair with us. The gentling us the car made it a special experience for my son and even allows him to get a photo with his dream super car which was in the show room.

I have a Jaguar F Pace. Two weeks ago the front windscreen washer not working but motor and rear washer ok. On lifting bonnet immediately saw that the hose leading to the jets had been eaten away, probably by a nesting mouse, hence water not reaching jets. Went to Stratstone Jaguar Service Centre Houghton. Told them the problem and insisted that I must have a diagnostic check first despite my protestations that the fault could easily be seen. Bottom line was that would cost over £200 plus VAT, add an hour's labour, probably £120-£150 plus cost of replacement hose, say £30. Needless to say I declined their exploitative offer, albeit I have been a loyal customer of theirs over many years. A friend has recently recommended A690 specialist cars. I took it to their premises at Belmont where after explaining the problem a fitter quickly fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes and refused any form of payment. This company also carries out MOT's and servicing at a much more reasonable cost than the Jaguar dealership and updates the service history. Because if the wonderful gesture of the fitter I will be taking my car there in future. Shame on you Jaguar.

A pleasure to deal with from start to finish, Gareth, Dean and Tony made it such a smooth transaction. Car was delivered to Glasgow, as described and I am delighted.

The quality of work at this garage is truly excellent and very trustworthy. Every time I bring my car in, they not only fix the issue but also take the time to check other areas and clearly explain what might need attention in the future. This really helps me plan ahead and gives me peace of mind.

I’d also like to give special thanks to Jordan. He is always very responsive and does his best to arrange repairs as quickly as possible. Knowing that I often need my car urgently, he makes the effort to get everything done efficiently and on time.

Called into A690 a few times and eventually bought a stunning Range Rover Sport exactly what I was looking for I had allways been a Discovery person .The service was first class from Martin,Phil and Billy I have allways dealt with main dealers for Land Rovers over 30yrs and can honestly say A690 can knock spots off these main dealers for quality of vehicle, product knowledge presentation and service The Discovery I traded in was a rare XXV main dealers didnt even know what it was ! We agreed a good deal on both vehicles Martin sorted plate transfers trackers the lot and the Range Rover looked straight out the box on collection absolute first class I would recommend A690 and team to anyone looking for good quality Land Rover ,people make a business not Showrooms !

I purchased a C300 Mercedes-Benz convertible from Martin at A690 Specialist Cars in September 2025. From the minute it arrived, there was trouble. To be fair, they paid for the issue, but I should have known this would not be the last problem. Just 6 months later, it is misfiring, with shot coils and spark plugs, and the diagnostic cost is over £2000.00. Buyer beware, these cars are temporary, and the company shifts cars that are only short-term fit for the road. I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM AGAIN. BAD EXPERIENCE.
I guess that's what you get for having a car delivered rather than checking on site.

Sold my car to A690 after being messed around by other dealers. Gareth & Phil were absolutely excellent. Gave me a fair price for my car, hassle free selling experience and same day transaction. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

My husband contacted A690 after spotting a car that had just come in. Dean contacted us back straight away and confirmed he would send pictures over the next morning(Was last thing on a Friday). He did just that as well as a video. We arranged to go along that morning. Dean was very informative, took us out on the test drive and we bought the car that morning. He gave us a very good trade in price for my car and explained exactly how they work it out. We bought a few extras like warranty etc but never felt pressured to buy these or felt like we were sold too. Dean is a great guy and like I’ve said explained everything clearly. Literally just picked my new car up and would definitely recommend them to purchase any new car and will use them again in the future.

Bought a Freelander 2 from Sean at A691. Excellent friendly service throughout the sale. No pressure to buy. Very happy with the car. Had a problem with the car not starting after a couple of weeks of ownership, starter motor had packed in. Sean sorted it quickly and without any quibbles, it was no problem at all.
