Used A690 service department for my Land-Rover Defenders 1st service today. Excellent service from start to finish from Phil and his team. Even supplied a courtesy car at short notice. Would 100% recommend very impressed when we collected, car immaculately clean. Great job, definitely be back.

Dean was brilliant and the initial contact with Phil was quick and easy! Test drive was arranged efficiently and the deal was done quickly with arranged finance. After making our previous purchase of a Mercedes GLC from A690 and starting to get itchy feet for something new we started looking over the company website, easy to navigate and informative providing all relevant detail. We settled on two cars to view a Defender and RR Sport - Both cars were fantastic but on seeing them up close and personal there was only Range Rover in contention. Martin and Phil guided us through the process from test drive to handover.

As usual with these things not everything runs smoothly, due to an IT error there was an issue with esignatures. Martin kept on top of this progressing this with the third party to even out the issues to allow completion of the documentation. Private plate fully changed over and ready on the new car for handover.

Thank you Phil and Martin for exemplary service way beyond the normal. At all times our custom was valued and nothing was too much trouble.

Second time purchasing from these guys and faultless service provided yet again! Wouldn't go anywhere else why would I?

From start to finish the process of buying my car felt so easy and didn’t feel like I was being forced to buy anything. I had to wait a few days to pick it up but had daily updates from Dean to let me know where we were at. Even after I picked the car up he still contacted me to see how everything was going. It’s not a case of handing money over and radio silence.
Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new car and no doubt I’ll be returning in a couple of years because I love my cars!

My father has to sell his car due to a recent medical diagnosis so I have been trying to find a fair deal for him.
I called A690 car sales to see if they would be interested in buying it. Phil was very honest in saying that they would be pressed to offer more than we had already been offered, but he took my details & called a friend also in the car trade who said that the car was one that they would be interested in buying.
Phil & A690 cars gained nothing monetarily from this help, but they have my respect & gratitude.

I cannot recommend A690 specialist cars in Durham enough,I travelled down from Fife to collect my beautiful Range Rover,which I am absolutely loving,which I had purchased from Antony Amers,this gentleman went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly for me,he kindly picked me and my son from train station,I honestly can’t thank Antony enough for his kindness,I will definitely be back to purchase again,it was amazing doing business with you Antony and will see you in a few years time,thank you.

Picked up a Range Rover today after trading for a good one with great history. Martin was excellent from start to purchase. He got me a video of the car, explained the prep that was needed including making sure the car was serviced as per the schedule. 4 new tyres fitted and we noticed on hand over one had a manufacturing default - needless to say Martin took the car straight away and had a new tyre on its way within minutes. Great service, thanks guys, I’ll be back !

Whilst visiting relatives in Durham, just before Christmas, my cars clutch broke down leaving me stranded as I live in Liverpool. Paul from A690 garage came to my rescue and arranged for my car to be repaired. The service that they provided was excellent and good value for money. Bought a £10k car 8month later get a £4k bill to fix it. Spend your money elsewhere!
And also to be told if I had paid for there extended warranty it wouldn’t have been covered anyway. Just checked done 4900 miles not 7 he’s stated
