Indonesia with Aahilya Holidays
I went to Indonesia with Aahilya Holidays and had wonderful time! This trip was one of the most organized trips I have ever been on. The Aahilya Holidays representative was very attentive to the groups needs, she always provide clear direction. We received an itinerary when the holiday began that allowed us to keep up with activities each day and she always posted important reminders after dinner each evening. I felt very well taken care of. Other aspects of the tour that were phenomenal were 1. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of history and culture. They were professional, patient, kind, and really fun to interact and learn from. 2. The Transportation was comfortable and the drivers had amazing skills and capabilities of maneuvering in tight areas… I was so impressed by this! They were also very friendly and always there to help. 3. Workshops. The workshops were awesome!! I learned and developed such an appreciation for the creation of different textiles. The instruction was clear and fun. I loved that I was able to create my piece from beginning to end and able to bring it home and reminisce on my expierence. 4. Excursions. One of my favorites… learning about the culture and history of Indonesia. I loved my interactions with people and seeing the temples and learning from each person I was in contact with. 5. The lodging was clean and comfortable. I always felt safe.
Over all this was a once in a lifetime experience and I loved every aspect of my holiday. I would definitely recommend Aahilya Holidays to plan your next vacation or holiday of a lifetime. You will not be disappointed as you will be well taken care of, safe, and discovering new things about your destination. Thank you Ahillya Holidays for an amazing experience! I look forward to my next trip… not sure where I will go but I know I will be amazed!

We stayed in excellent hotels and had very informative and easy to understand guides. The program was even better than advertised. The transportation was appropriate for our needs. This was my first trip like this and I felt comfortable, informed, and interested in the topic.

Textile travel and much more
Travelling to Uzbekistan with Aahilya Holidays will be my third trip with this company. They consistently delivered a well curated travel experience which involves hands on workshops for blockprinting (Jaipur and Uzbekistan), embroidery (Himachal Pradesh and Uzbekistan) and designing on a plate which is then fired (Uzbekistan). You have the opportunities to engage with local artisans in their environments. I have so enjoyed meeting these lovely people and getting a brief insight into their lives. The hotels, guides and transport is all well organised. I have travelled to join these groups on my own and meet like minded people who are a joy to get to know over the course of the trip.

2 weeks in Uzbekistan with Isha and Aahilya Holidays was exactly the therapy I needed. The uncertainty of booking with an unknown and foreign company together with the nervousness of travelling without anyone I knew resulted in the most amazing travel and textile experience with the most wonderful group of people. Isha and her team of guides and drivers were simply the best you could wish for.
I'm not religious and wasn't particularly looking forward to visiting so many religious venues but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the buildings.
The hotels were well chosen, the itinerary and planning were excellent and best of all 'flexible' to add in a little spur of the moment extra 😊
It was so lovely to have someone else be 'mum' for 2 weeks. Someone to do the thinking and planning so we could just enjoy the experience - Thank you so much Isha. I have already booked my next trip with Aahilya Holidays and I honestly can't wait. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my 7th trip to India but my first with Aahilya - but definitely not my last! From the programme that they put together and the booking process to the running of the trip, l found them to be not only extremely professional but also very caring. At all times I felt that we were in very good hands. The hotels in which we stayed were super and our coach clean and well driven. Isha, Gautam and the team found fascinating villages and artisans for us to visit and we were so well received everywhere we went. So many little extra visits and surprises were fitted in - every day was an adventure, but in a good way. Thank you so much, Isha, Gautam and Wendy for introducing me to this fascinating area of India and for sharing your knowledge with us. I can't wait to travel with you again.

Can't thank Aahilya holidays enough for a fantastic 2 weeks in Gujarat, what an amazing experience, seemless organised trip from start to finish! Our amazing tour leader Wendy Dolan and the lovely Isha from Aahilya! Staying at amazing hotels,particularly the House of MG in Ahmedabad.
Experiencing the art of textiles,bell making,paper making incredible sites filling our days! The safari to the Ran of kutch was a memorable morning seeing the wild Ass and flamingos.
So sad when my 2 weeks came to an end,will definitely be booking for next year.
