Fantastic service from Joe, really helpful talking us through the survey, answered all our questions and really went the extra mile to help us get our first purchase right! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We struck gold when we booked Joe to complete a L2 survey on a property that we were purchasing and completely in love with. As a first time buyer, I had absolutely no idea what to expect, and no one in the trade to ask advice of. I found Joe after phoning lots of different companies, comparing prices and reading reviews. Joe is incredible efficient and called me back quickly and clearly explained the process which greatly put me at ease. I asked a million questions and not once did he make me feel stupid or rushed. When you book Allen-Aldus Surveying, you are working with Joe and only Joe. You are not liaising through a receptionist who is far removed from your property and has absolutely no clue, which is what I found with other surveyor companies. Anyway, Joe goes above and beyond and has the best attention to detail of anyone I have ever met which is an excellent quality for a surveyor! The Whatsapp group that Joe set up was incredibly helpful and we always felt in the loop. After the survey, Joe called us to explain the findings and was very honest. We then received the full report, which even I could follow and understand.
Ultimately we pulled out of the purchase as the property was in horrific condition and would require mega £££ to get it to the standard that we thought we were buying it in. Joe saved us from an absolute nightmare and we could not be more grateful. If I instead went for the cheapest option elsewhere as a naive first time buyer, my future would be looking very different right now (dramatic but true!). Please do not hesitate to book Joe - as soon as we find the right property for us, we will be calling Joe.
