Time for a change
I'd been with the same company for nearly 48 years, they've been taken over & don't seem so interested in smaller policies or business. Having got excellent service for car insurance for my wife & myself, it was no surprise that Admiral offered favourable terms for my public liability, so very pleased!

I was looking to get my Van insured
I was looking to get my Van insured, wasn't sure of the insurance I needed but when speaking to Admiral they were very knowledgeable about Van insurance and talked me through the various policies. when I spoke to them what my van was being used for I was pointed to the policies that suited me.

Public Liability scam!
During some recent building work the builder knocked over a glue type substance whilst the floors were up which ran through into the room below and onto my expensive, immaculate, hand made velvet sofa. The poor builder was mortified but assumed this would all be ok as he had taken out PLI with Admiral. This was not the case. They use a claims handler company DAC Beachcroft who contacted us directly offering us a paltry sum and telling us to buy a cheap replacement sofa. I have advised the builder to take legal advice and to follow Admiral complaints policy as he will now be out of pocket for a genuine accident. Customers rely on builders having PLI in place when they engage them and it is perfectly reasonable to expect damage to your property to be fully compensated by this insurance. Absolutely appalling!
