Admiral Banbury-

Admiral Banbury-
£400 in and barely any payout
Offered a drink when I walked in, it was only 2 hours later when the staff changed over that a male offered me a drink, the earlier female staff didn't bother with the players.
The female staff kept pressing the 'cctv is monitoring blah blah blah' button which got irritating
Never got offered any promotions when I was in there, yet when I got to basingstoke, they're on you as soon as you walk in for any promotions

After visiting their Dawlish branch…

After visiting their Dawlish branch regularly for a few years and having been to several of their 'parties' now I have watched the staff time after time give prizes and money to their friends and favourites every time. Surely, the point is to reward loyal customers not let staff give money to their friends. I lived in the West Midlands before this and the same went on in their branch there. It seems Admiral need to keep a better eye on their staff nationwide.

I’m receiving marketing texts almost daily and I’ve never even signed myself up for an account.

This is a serious GDPR issue if they just let people sign up with any old phone number with no form text code or confirmation.

I will be raising this further if nothing is done to resolve this.

Can be good fun if used sensibly

Free play promotions, cash match, tournaments and ‘party days’ do add a bit of fun to the experience. Most of the staff are pleasant but one or two are best avoided. Not really a fan of a 24 hour gambling facility in any town. As far as the games themselves go the general consensus is the bonuses are laughable in relation to the wager. I realise there will be some bonuses higher than others, but I played Star Turns for 30 minutes, 25p stake, I eventually got the bonus, it paid 50p…if there is no likelihood of a fair reward people will just stop playing….

Really awful and very mind-numbingly boring.
There's a clique and if you don't fit in you may as well leave. The manager was aggressive in a manner so I walked out in disgust. Always seem to be advertising so that says a lot about this particular branch. I have PTSD and feel like I was targeted by the "manager" and another member of staff.

Our players are at the heart of…

Our players are at the heart of everything we do. That's a lie they don't have hearts the only thing they have is our money after there machine con you for nothing. I have beep playing machines in the industry for the best part of my adult life and this company is by far the worst of them all. Let this sink in. How would you feel if you went in 20 times in a row and lost a tenner. How would you feel if you went in with £100 20x and lost. How would you feel if you went in with £300 10x and lost. How would you feel if you went in with 3k and the biggest win you got was £60. Because that's what happens if you go in these places. If you decide to go in for a cuppa make sure you have £400 on you as you will of spent that betime you finish your drink or better still DONT GO IN. Go on holiday instead or just give your money to someone who needs it more. Admiral are just a legalised buisness that rip you off. You won't get your expected rtp. The whole gambling industry is a massive con and its getting worse. If you don't belive a word of this revew go and try it. You might get super lucky the first time and that's a very big might but don't say you weren't warned. The bar x 7s c
£25 jackpot can take over £300 with out a single £10 win. The bullion bars machine can take well over £150 to get a top feature which is likely to give you £2 rainbow riches clover can take over £1k just to get a £5 win. The £5 jackpots are by far the fairest machines of all they only take about £90 to get a couple of fiver jackpots in. Oh and once you start losing you have the staff standing watching every press you do on the machines asking you stupid questions like are you winning when they know fine well your not as they can see how much you have lost in the office. On a plus note they are happy to keep feeding you with hot drinks to keep you sitting there pumping your hard earned money into their company's piggy bank. No wonder they make billions each year. I won't be going back infact I won't touch another gambling device ever. Your not buying entertainment you just being robbed. If you do go in to a admiral casino/arcade I do wish you the best of luck and gamble responsibly haha

Tell me I abuse my children, I am a “paddington bear b*tch ( whatever that means) and a “degenerate mother” ( whatever that is). He has ruined my life making comments Reading a small place and he will find me. Warning me not to tell Mat what he saying. How can this company employ bullies and drug addicts

Went and tried there machines again to…

Went and tried there machines again to see if I could get a play and lost £1960 in just under a hour playing rainbow riches clover £2 a go. The highest win was £60 which I gambled as I was already £1400 ish down. I have played machines most of my adult life and I'm telling you now these things now are robbing b.......ards.
I dont mind losing if I get a play but that was ridiculous. They say set your limits
But if you go in with say £100 it's absolutely pointless as you will be in and straight back out in a couple of minutes.
Seriously folks don't lower yourselves by going in these venues they are just there to bleed you dry then take the micky out of you when you walk out. Put your gambling funds away and take someone specail with you on a nice holiday.
Yes I feel bitter because I lost more like robbed but it is a future warning for the rest of you. Don't do it to your self. It's not worth the heart ache. Take care all
Ps their engineer told me that there machines are running on 82% payout however they advise 88% and 90% so they are breaking the law aswell

Well really

So , first off I don’t mind losing a bit on slots… it’s kind of expected overall . What I do mind is walking into an establishment, playing 15 different machines and never being up on any single one of them …. Just burning through money like the greedy scam boxes they are. £1,000 down inside 2 hours . This isn’t the first time that similar has happened in your venue either! I should thank you really as your establishment has managed to put me off slots for life…( let’s be honest it’s all just an elaborate con anyway) . I did enjoy playing and have never minded losing a bit , but the sheer greed and RTP rubbish has opened my eyes…. So thank you Admiral … the sooner you and others go out of business the better… an absolute stain on society.

I have visited your venue in the…
I have visited your venue in the Luton's Town Centre and your staff members customers services are not efficient as many times will be losing £500 on the machines and they never come to even offer me a proper cup of coffee all they do is stand and wait until I call them.
This venue has been recently renovated and as they were doing renovation they were still allowing people who are not registered to be playing the machines .
There is a black or dark-skinned guy who usually take my money out of the machine without asking if I have finished playing on numerous occasions whereby I had become intolerant with his conduct and decided to express my annoyance .
One morning early I was about go into the venue after withdraw some money from the cash point and he said I can't go in and I asked why then he told me to ask the manager.
Many times I have seen other female staff members be fiddling with the machines un-neccessarilly thus after the engineer has visited for the week.
Lots of customers complained of the staff members ( Polish,Hungarians, Russians etc ), are being racist towards the normal blacks( Africans) who visit those venues.
They are not being treated fairly

Not really a bad casino near Nottingham

Not a bad place to play online. I also play in the local casino. However, I was not impressed when I walked into the casino last weekend and a staff member on duty had reserved two slot machines that I usually play on for someone not actually due to visit until later that day, at least 3 hours prior to them visiting the casino. Instead, I used another slot machine as I don't exactly want to keep playing the same slots on every single visit.

In regards to the reservation that was in place, I understand that slot machines can be reserved during the day but I'm under the impression that reservations are only for customers that are at the casino that have either nipped out for a cigarette, for a short break or if they have gone to the toilet and not reserved for a later time i.e. 'booked in advance' for another customer especially when they rang up to reserve. Despite this the staff member on duty told that someone rang up to reserve two slot machines and they weren't going to be available for the rest of the night - how is this acceptable to customers that are in the casino and wanting to play that slot machine?

Other than that little rant, the casino I visit is usually very good with some of the staff that are genuinely kind and cheerful, it's the staff like that whom make me want to return, not just for gambling and the fun of it all but mainly for the conversation I can have with the staff. I do like the tournaments they have frequently too.

Overall, 3 stars but I would consider stricter rules on reservations, perhaps hire more staff or do some character building and keep up the good work with the tournaments and bonuses.

Update - 17/01/2023
Absolutely fuming! A staff member at the casino in Beeston has been speaking to a customer on the phone about me. How on Earth are they still hired in that place? Disgusting breach of confidentiality and information! Lose staff like this or lose regular customers!

Update - 09/04/2026
Closed my online account abruptly during gameplay, refunded the amount in my account but now account closed due to financial checks apparently. Why not carry out regular surveys, each quarter, like a financial check in to locate actual problem gamblers!

I've been playing your slots a couple of times a week for about 6 months now and found your slot are set to the bear minimum payout, its nearly impossible to walk out of your arcade with more money than you went in with, I've not managed it anyway? I think its unfair and a bit of a con. I don't mind losing but when you've no chance at all what's the point.
