I'm giving Katherine and her help 5 stars simply because they care about us Adoptees as a person.
My dna is so messed up its unreal. Loads of Endogmy. I've had others to " help" only to leave me hanging and just tell me things to keep me satisfied.. Katherine and her ppl truly care! I know that 1st hand. I actually was told today I wouldnt be left hanging n they were in this till the end and they could finally put closure on this for me..
If you need help, please put your trust in Adopted.com to help you..

So grateful to adopted.com for reuniting me with my son! I registered here in August of 2017; he registered here in March of 2019. He said our match came up within 3 minutes after he submitted it!! And though we live hundreds of miles apart, our reunion occurred just days after contact was made and was one of the most moving and fulfilling experiences of my life. Simply beautiful. He and his wife came to visit again for the 4th of July and met aunts, uncles and cousins. To see his face amongst my family members was beyond amazing. We're looking forward to getting to know each other and making memories together. I must be the luckiest woman alive! Thank you for facilitating this!!! <3<3<3

It says you have a 100% match so you pay the money to see the match and it’s not a match at all. It’s just a way to get you to pay the money so don’t bother!
Ditto Bill Smith's first one-star review. You give specific info (such as birth date, hospital, city, and state) and they entice you to spend $20 to see 100% matches of people who have not stated that much info. Then you send those 100% matches a message asking to clarify their date of birth, for example and you find it was an entirely different date, or in my case 67% of the people I messaged never bothered to respond. On top of that, you can't edit your message sent nor add a second message to encourage a response.
While is not really the fault of the site that some people are jerks/whatever who sign up to find a lost birth relative and then never have the courtesy to respond to a potential match, it is the fault of the site that you can't send additional messages. And it's their fault for listing as a 100% match someone who has only listed sketchy info that obviously does not match your info.
And their 90% matches are a joke. What good are 2000 listings of people born in a different town, different state, or on a different date from the info you enter? Maybe I'm supposed to pick out a female born to someone else in a different state two years later and try to convince her that she's my wife's long-lost daughter? Makes no sense.
I'm not asking for or expecting a refund--I paid my $20 and took my chances, but I sure as H ain't gonna make it $40!

Update:
My previous review was 1 star based on what I felt to be misleading search results. I still feel the matchmaking system is misleading as a profile can be created with vague information, leading you to believe you have perfect matches waiting while in reality they are far less than that.
The reason I am changing my review however is that recently the site owner replied to a message I had sent, outlining my disappointment, and issued me a full refund. I certainly cannot claim an individual that chooses to provide me a refund without any cajoling or threats of action to be anything less than honorable, and as such I am obligated to update my feedback to reflect this. Based on this I can only conclude Adopted.com is genuinely interested in providing value to their clients and the reality is some individuals simply will not have luck in this.

search detailed many 90% accurate matches. After paying to see the matches turned out to be NOWHERE NEAR my search parameters. I would label this as a scam. Subscription cancelled within 10 minutes. AVOID.
