Easy to set up and use and results seem consistent with what one would expect( alcosense pro). At the price a carry case would have been nice.

Really Easy to use and seems to be accurate.

Bought the Alcosense Excel primarily because we're planning a vintage car trip to the Champagne reason and I'll be driving. I want to be sure I'm always under the limit. It arrived promptly from Amazon and as we were going for a pub lunch I was able to try it out quickly. I'm impressed. It is easy to set up and use and gave good results consisently. It gives a clear insight into your limits and how your body deals with alcohol. So I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I just bought the alcosense lite 2 - I think its great! I'm always worried about being over the limit the next morning, but this gives me great piece of mind at an affordable price!

Bought an alcosense elite 3 to upgrade my 7 year old alcosense. That was a mistake. Machine takes about 3 times as long to be ready compared to the original. It is far more finicky about how you blow into it, so much so that an additional leaflet is included to tell you how to blow. The unit is also rather larger than the original.

On the plus side it works and is consistent with the old unit but overall rather disappointed in it

I had the "Lite" many years ago and it was great, now needed to upgrade and impressed with the extra additions on "Lite 3" that "Lite" did not have on it. Whether I have one drink or wake in morning after night out, it is good to use to check I am clear to drive.

Purchased to check morning after effects of alcohol. Great for travel if hiring a car abroad.

I tested the device the morning after a night out & received a series of "Blow Error" messages even though I was seeing the "keep blowing" message & did keep blowing.

I re-seated the mouthpiece & the next blow worked

Recently upgraded to an Alcosense Excel breathalyser. This is easy to set up and use. I would recommend this product as a great way to confirm you are safe to drive the next day after a few drinks.

Excellent device. Seems accurate. Easy to use. Having the peace of mind that you're OK to drive is great - especially on the morning after. And it is interesting to see the alcohol levels dissipate over the hours after drinking.

My one disappointment with the product is that I didn't realise that the product will only work for 12 months at a time, and then I must send it back for re-callibration at a cost of £25. I doubt that would've discouraged me from buying it, but I think that customers should understand that before purchasing. If this was advertised I missed it - maybe the signage, if any, should be bigger! I would have given 5* otherwise.

Recently upgraded from a first generation Elite that had served me well for many years to the new Pro.
Both devices give you a pretty accurate guide to whether you are safe to drive or not but found with the old style Elite it could sometimes take a couple of attempts to get a reading but was a good basic breathalyser however the Pro is on a different level as it has visible meter you use to ensure a consistent sample every time and even shows an estimated time until you are safe to drive, it also stores previous readings so it can over time let you build a picture of how long it takes for different drinks and quantities to leave your system so you can start to work out in advance of a night out what your safe limit will be if you need to drive the next day. If you rely on your licence for work or even just day to day driving having this to hand for a quick check before setting off is a no brainer if you don't want to risk losing it.

This breathalyser is so easy to use. It's perfect to take away with you if you need to drive the morning after a night out. Small and compact, easily fits into a handbag.

I like to enjoy a night out but also like to know I'm safe to drive and that my license is safe. After research I opted for an Alcosense, and it's great. Super simple to use with quick and accurate results

I recently upgraded my old Alcosense Elite breathalyser for the Alcosense Pro Fuel Cell personal breathalyser. This is so much easier to use, as the screen shows you if you are blowing too softly or too hard (a problem I often had with the Elite). So there is no struggling to obtain a reading - you get one every time.
I like the way it not only advises if you are over the limit but also approximately how long it will be until you are safe to drive. As a motorhome driver I need to be certain each morning before setting off, so this is very important to me.
The other reason I went for the Pro was because it is pre-loaded with the individual alcohol limits for most countries, and I can change countries on the Pro to reflect my journey, so I am always aware of current legislation in each country.
The only slight disappointment was that it didn't come with a case, and this needed to be purchased separately, so it involved 2 lots of P&P.

I bought this Alcho sense device as my job is irregular being an agency worker I can get rang at any time.The blue chip companies I work for do alcohol and drugs screening.I do like a night out and the device has been brilliant knowing I can go to work knowing I'm fit to work.Even better I don't have the what ifs hanging around the back of my mind.Alco sense is very accurate easy to use at a modest price.Thankyou Alcohol Sense.

AlcoSense Lite2 Alcohol:- Seems like a good product. We have tested it with zero alcohol and after a couple of glasses of wine and it seems accurate. Instructions are pretty clear with a useful table for alcohol limits around the world. Would recommend.

Tested it with and without alcohol and got what I consider accurate readings. Makes a lot of sense to test oneself in the morning when having had a drink the night before.

We bought one of these for a business but having retired, decided to calibrate it for home use to ensure that family and friends were safe.
Unfortunately, it was so old that they could not do this for us but a replacement was offered and the whole experience was smooth and good value.
On receiving it, I opened it, worrying that it would be difficult but the instructions were all so clear that it only took a few minutes.
There is an excellent video online that they tell you about which shows how to use it.

I have used Alcosense Elite models for over ten years. I returned my Elite 2 for calibration but the sensor had died. The Customer service response t o phone and e-mail is second to none. I was not charged for the service and given a £20 Discount towards a new Model. I upgraded to an Excel, very easy to set up for UK use and a fantastic little device
