Written by the company

When the Bank Says No is team of professional mortgage and insurance brokers, dedicated to helping our clients achieve the finance they need to buy their home. Founded by our parent company Alder Rose Mortgage Services Ltd, we were born out of a desire to support people – no matter the complexity of their situation. Instead of sending more challenging cases to other brokers where we had no control over their experience, we wanted to be there for everyone – every time. Our mission? We’ve heard them all before, so let’s just tell you why we’re here and what we do well. Straight-up; no gloss, hype, or marketing lingo. We find mortgages for our customers, and give them the right advice first time. “When the bank says no – we say Yes“ People get rejected by lenders every day – that doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, though it can sometimes make you feel that way. Confused by free online services that can’t cope with real life situations, and stressed by the months you’ve wasted waiting, it can feel like there’s no one there to help. But we’re here to clear things up, and explain what solutions are out there.

Great experience second time round

We didn’t have the best experience the first time with this company, however Naheela reached out with a new offer and was brilliant getting everything sorted for us. Gus was also great, and they worked quickly and efficiently so we got our offer completed within a couple of weeks. Couldn’t fault our experience the second time round, thanks to Naheela and Gus

Complete incompetence

Have my number incorrectly but no matter how many times I request for my number to to be deleted they continue to pester me. I wouldn’t trust them to fill out a birthday card never mind a mortgage application!

Don’t give up on your dream to be a home owner…

We were once first time buyers almost 20 years ago, we outgrew that house, and in time sold it. For the last 10 years we have privately rented.
In the meantime life occured, as well as self employment which started as a success, but ended on a low note. Subsequently damaging our credit files whilst we started a fresh.
We never thought we would get back onto the property ladder, having being previously judged by blanket type mortgage brokers who instantly go to the main lenders who want a super duper credit rating. Being judged by a score. Instead of an individual with individual circumstances.
When the banks say no have broke this stigma. And instead have treat us like humans. Lewis found us a lender within days, we couldn’t thank him enough. Rachael has since helped us amazingly too.
But as a company as a whole- their ethics are amazing. And give you some worth. So to those who have been tangled up in life, and might of damaged their credit files in the meantime- don’t give up and approach WTBSN! As it is possible- you just need amazing credit brokers and specialists who know how to go a little further than the highstreet banks.
Thank you again for getting us back on the property ladder.

You made our forever home a reality!

From the first contact with Lewis, he was so positive and respectful. We never in our dreams thought a mortgage would be possible, when the banks say no made what dealt the impossible to become reality. We are now just waiting for Solictors to complete and we have a forever home! I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done!
